>MARVEL's The Marvels
Is it true they changed Ms Marvel's power from being stretchy like Mr Fantastic to force field bullshit like the Invisible Girl?
i have no idea who any of those characters are but here is the muslim captain marvels bobs bouncing
there was another scene where they're all jumping rope but I think they taped down her breasts because there as little to no bouncing
she was the one making shields and platforms
How bad was the musical scene?
Its like a combined 45 seconds long
K I N O C I N E M A
get used to it
What the frick.
The setting is that the planet communicates via song/dance.
are those supposed to be aliens?
O CRAPTAIN
was brie cute?
looked quite manish to me most of the time
Guy about to hold hands with her is obviously ghey.
who was the bad guy
Gender swapped Ronan The Accuser (from what I saw in the trailer)
i looked it up and it looks like it was his friend or something
brie larsons bra and technically brie larsons captain marvel
white women i guess
Very interesting
that's it
I have no more webms to share
KITTIES
>cats
yup, its a woman directed movie
The actual movie. And then you leave the theater relieved.
Oh wow, it's literally a movie for little girls
>Bad guy finds a McGuffin that lets them make portals and uses it to steal resources from planets connected to Carol.
>Kamala, Monica and Carol's powers become entagled because of this and they switch places when using them.
>Bad guy blames Carol for her planet's civil war and devastation.
>Pratically nothing happens for most of the movie.
>Portals are causing destabilisation so space station has to be evacuated and they use the alien cat, who just so happened to have had babies, to swallow people to get them on a single ship.
>Fight bad guy who gets second McGuffin from Kamala, she rips open a hole in universe which Monica closes and she gets trapped in X-Men universe.
>Carol flies to bad guys planet and just restarts their sun proving the whole conflict was moot because she could have just solved their problems the whole time.
They go to a planet where people sing and dance to communicate. And really it is for three reasons:
>1. They say Carol is Princess of that planet, therefore she is now a Disney PrincessTM.
>2. Random South Korean actor as her Prince for those audiences.
>3. They wanted le quirky musical number.
I went into this film thinking it could not be as bad as everyone said it was, and it truly was. Characters made no sense, most of them were really bad. Kamala, who had the lowest viewed Disney+ show, ended up being the only okay character and that is saying something. Monica is pofaced angry. Brie is fricking as awful as ever. One note bland villain. Plot holes everywhere.
>Multiple times they say Carol could have just sorted the villain out like it is nothing.
>Only thing stopping her is her switching places with the other two.
>Whole situation is because Carol destroyed the Supreme Intelligence on Hala.
>But all that is handwaved away by a line of "we are sending help and assistance to Hala" at the end, as well as Carol restarting their sun.
I can't help but feel the Kamala actress will have some kind of Chris Evans thing where her career is mostly dead for five years and then she's suddenly a megastar.
She's the only one of these pushed woke actresses that's actually likable.
>I can't help but feel the Kamala actress will have some kind of Chris Evans thing where her career is mostly dead for five years and then she's suddenly a megastar.
Eh I wouldn't go that far.
>She's the only one of these pushed woke actresses that's actually likable.
She actually seems to want to be there. You can instantly understand her character. It is simple and communicable. The other two leads suffer from the "misunderstanding what being a bad ass" is that most female leads in those movies do. For some reason they think that being a bad ass is acting like an overcompensation c**t and not cool confidence.
You know those people who are unsure of themselves but at the time lack self awareness, so when told to be more assertive, they conflate it with being as butthole? They start being rude and dismissive of others. Wherein they used to say "maybe my shit isn't good enough", they instead started saying "ALL my shit is THE BEST SHIT and everything i do is THE BEST AND MOST OBJECTIVELY RIGHT, FRICK YOU!" as a way of acting out and performing confidence, rather than actually HAVING confidence, because that would require an ability to look within and asses themselves, know what they're doing wrong, what they're doing right and how to repeat it, and ultimately building a true and real sense of confidence created on good character and habits rather than a fake, performative facade?
That's the problem with them right now. They think if they hammer it in more, it'll signal to others that they're confident and right and 'don't take no shit'.
They're iditos.
>connected to Carol.
It's only connected to Carol because she and Monica touched the glowy radioactive anomaly at the same time while doing science. You NEVER touch the glowy radioactive anomaly ESPECIALLY when doing science. It never ends well.
don't forget hawkgirl at the end, really feels like Spider-Man *should* be the leader of young avengers
>white cat doing a flip
I unironically just soifaced
none of these cats are real it's all cgi lmao marvelkeks
Even the cats were cgi?
I turned it off and cringed when they reached the musical alien planet. I can see why the movie flopped.
More people saw the marvels than godzilla minus one
but Godzilla made more profit
go to bed Kojima
Was it true the finally showed the X-Men?
Does it confirm the leaks about Secret Wars?
CGI Beast cameo, that was it.
Yes
Monica ended up in the x-verse, with Beast flat out saying she's from a diff universe than theirs.
Iman Velani/ Kamala Khan
is by far the BEST thing about the movie and IRL
is actually passionate about the character and the series. Well acted. looks like she's actually having fun
Even avoids the forced "Girlboss" cliche.
Woman-child fangirl is not much better. She was more cringe than Spider-Boy calling Tony "Mr. Stark".
