i did. the show worked better as a simple romp with touches of emotional depth. they tried to up the drama and failed. that final episode sex scene was unbearable.

I'd actually appreciate it more if it was portrayed it like that, like she was just using him for his warrior genes (Like the Far Cry 3 sex ending), rather than trying to make it wholesome. It's just doesnt work as a wholesome ending, it's too weird and edgy.
I would have preferred if he lived and got to do what was taken from him at the start of the series, be a father. It's whatever though.

I'm not going to watch something with such a putrid art style and animation. It's really no wonder anime has overtaken cartoons by such a massive margin. zoomers have good taste.
Season 2 escalated far too quickly. Could have been drawn out to two seasons itself, with the first season being Spear tracking and finding Mira, then them being caught at the end of the season and forced to fight for that queen lady. It would better show the progression of man, from hopeless, to survival, to searching for meaning, to fighting to protect what you have found.
Like Samurai Jack Season 5, Genndy was rushed to put out a product and the product suffered for it.
I do think spreading the last season out across two seasons would have done a lot of good to better the pacing and build up.
