Snyder bros... we've won. All our suffering wasn't for nothin.
Memes aside, what suffering? We've gotten everything we wanted, and it looks like we might keep on getting more.
he just has a thin skin and can't handle the bantz
>quentin_tarantino_masturbation_fodder.webm
How did you win? This wasn't in Snyders plans and he won't be involved.
>This wasn't in Snyders plans
It's his version of Batman. This is what you dumbfricks still can't get your mind around, there is no Snyder cult. Snyder is not what we love (frick suckerpunch, 300 & dawn of the dead are meh) WE LOVE HIS DC MOVIES!
>and he won't be involved.
The timing of that hit piece suggest otherwise.
>hit piece
it was literally just people making fun of you pajeets, as usual
it’s like anything negative that happens to you guys it’s some conspiracy theory
>Snyder is not what we love
The frick? Ya'll literally call him boss and got Army of the Dead, which was fricking hot trash, a fan award at the Oscars. And if acts completely different and is following a different story then it ain't his version either. Unless you also think Whedon's JL Batman is his version as well?
>The timing of that hit piece suggest otherwise.
Holy fricking kek. You people live on a strict diet of copium.
>300
>meh
Frick off
>The timing of that hit piece suggest otherwise
How many times you people gonna claim a Snyder announcement is DEFINITELY gonna happen before you start believing every rumor you hear?
The Erza effect it seems, everything is now on the table in order to attempt saving this mess of a Cinematic Universe.
OP rumor is old and predates Ezra’s mental breakdown, seems like this has been in the works for a while. I remember them hinting at it on social media too.
>Crisis on Infinite Earths
>when there are barely any DC characters 2020s audiences care about beyond a CW level
I'd call this a sharkjump, but I think even that would be an understatement.
Jumping the shark would imply someone cares
Batman V Superman was jumping the shark. And that’s literally the second
movie in this supposed universe
implying there was a shark to jump, the DC JL movies were all terrible from the start whereas the early marvel movies like Cap, Thor, and Iron 1 were watchable
Man Of Steel was decent to below average. Worse than Batman Begins, better than Superman Returns. A really good Man Of Steel II could have conceivably course corrected and been a success. Batman V Superman was just so purely terrible that everybody knew it wouldn’t be good after that. Biggest second weekend drop in history and just about no DCEU movie did well after that.
It's annoying to me how sneedergays berate The Batman for not making $1 billion when if you break it down day by day it still proves it was massively more well-received and popular than BvS.
>a really good Man Of Steel II could have conceivably course corrected
how? you still have the same creative team that pulled the BvS and JL bullshit. it's like thinking that Damon Lindelof would make a good Watchmen because he's had many adaptations to course correct his mistakes
>we want the bot audience
So Crisis on Infinite Earths was supposed to be DCEU's Infinity War and Endgame?
but there's nothing leading up to it
Frick it, this is what they should do
The only thing that would do is killing Alan Moore for good.
win-win
I think that Batgirl will need reshoots to try and set up Crisis
WB may be in a perpetual shithole, but at least Affleck is no longer sad in life
Hey dc. Maybe try getting your normal cinematic universe right first before going into multiverse shit.
>instead of building this batman up they made an entire nu batxir
what a shitshow
I swear to god if he signs the contract, the filming reaches mid production, and he pulls an Ezra Miller and gets arrested for a charge that's scandal related I my sides would reach orbit.
Affleck is happier writing and directing, I doubt he'd sign for more Batman no matter how much money
It'd be more likely that he gets back on booze than actually going full schizo ezra
JLo as catwoman
She’d actually be good as middle aged cat woman since batman is like 50 in this universe
Given a white Catwoman is impossible nowadays, she wouldn't be a bad option, right?
R-right?
>Selina from the block
>Crisis climax
>Heroes losing
>Batfleck comes from deep space
>He brought along Jessica Cruz, played by Jennifer Lopez
>long tracking shot of J.Lo's ass in the green lantern costume.
Just let Ben direct more movies about scumbags from Boston.
>inb4 Batman lives in Southie
Gotham is now in New England
The Penguin is now Lenny Clarke
CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS
Seriously?? Is it that difficult to just do some basic stories about each justice league member?
>Is it that difficult to just do some basic stories about each justice league member?
The suits literally don't want it, they want to hotshot something as "big" as the MCU without buildup. Sny wanted at least one Batman movie before BvS and JL was supposed to be Superman 2, remember?
They are just throwing everything at the wall but either of the things that would obviously work (A hard reboot or just ignoring the interconnected universe element entirely) and it is absolutely hilarious. I don't even see this much awkward flailing from drowning victims.
>Crisis
They're going to bring in Gustin to replace Ezra, aren't they?
Have they ever consider just starting a new cinematic universe instead of wasting all the movie just to reboot away the previous one? No wonder why Hollywood and it's executives are moronic.
If they couldn’t get it right last time why do you think they’d be able to if they just started over? The same structural issues exist within the company that prevents long term planning and stops actual DC comic fans dictating the stories
Snyder is a fan. Fandom doesn't equal skill
>Giant Freakin Robot exclusive
lol okay. Move along Cinemaphile, nothing to see here.
/thread
also OP cropped out the date, the article is from May
he'll prolly be just in some scenes to make place for other characters no one cares about
Add it to the pile
yea i know people are fatigued by cape shit in general, but within that bubble, i am so bored of multiverses and meta shit.
"woah theres 5 versions of spiderman in this scene! They're all from different universes!"....and?
The multiverse as a concept is just a fundamentally moronic concept to me
Other dimensions, other realms, Heaven, Hell, alien planets, those are cool. Parallel universes are lame.
>3 different versions of Batman running around
DC literally has nothing left but Batman
Do DC films generally at least make their money back? Because with how often this universe reboots I think they’ll actually go bankrupt.
>CoiE
>Nothing good will come from this.jpg.
They must wanna beat Marvel to Secret Wars. If they do this they're going to go all out. Joaquin Phoenix Joker, whatshisname Edward Cullen Batman, Henry Cavill, all the old Supermans, CW, Titans. Only way it makes sense. Could be fun! Return of Amell maybe?
>still pretending the DCEU is going to happen
Ezra Miller killed it with zir antics
>still thinking WB isn't backing Miller
you know he's in rehab right now right?
in september he's out and WB announces he's a changed man and promotion for the movie will kick off
I just wanted a good, self contained JLA movie with the characters I grew up with
Why do they have to jump the shark so much?
DCEU needs to start over. but keep Shazam!. that was a good movie.
anyway, if I was in charge I'd start with a Green Lantern movie, do it right this time, and build to Blackest Night as the big event.
Why go for Ben Batman and not Christian Bale Batman?
I can't stand this cookie monster-voiced version. Can't get a damn martial artist in this role for shit, just clumsy brawlers. Scott Adkins, why hast thou forsaken us?!
"Hey, do you know what we need to do? Remind people of the two most miserable, utterly joyless superhero movies ever made, and one that was taken over by the Roman Polanski of superhero movies. You know, the one that we also threw even more money at because of astroturfing from bots? Because I don't think enough people remember how much of a clusterfrick that mistake of a movie trilogy-plus-appendix was."
-DC Executives yesterday
It's literally nothing but sunken cost fallacy and smelling blood in the water around Marvel's sequential recent failures. They could make something work if they started small built on what's been established by The Batman and Joker but as usual they're going to take a good thing full of potential and ruin it by refusing to do the groundwork that led to Marvel's success.
Marvel's not even going anywhere. People know those movies are serviceable good times, they're just oversaturated and starting to homogenize again. They've already addressed this problem once.
The last batman movie drove him depression and a diet consisting of only junk food and alcohol. It looks like DC wants to finish the job
Why won't they just do an animated Crisis instead. Imagine the DCAU, the Brave and the Bold verse, The Batman-verse, both Super Hero Girls-verses, Teen Titans 2003 and Go-verses, Young Justice-verse, SuperFriends, and the Flashpoint to Apokolips War-verse coming together, besides the token one shot animated movies in their own separate continuities to fill cameo time.
Reminder that Giant Freakin Robot exclusives are usually straight up lies posted for clicks, and this is no different.
Bros, is the DCEU dead?
I kneel.
ITS HAPPENING
Please be real
DC needs one win…
Fricking let him direct too, it can't be worse than Snyder.
Remember when we thought nothing could be worse than Man of Steel and them we got BvS?
And then we thought nothing could be worse than BvS and we got both versions of Justice League? Just, never say never, is all.
>Crisis on Infinite Earths
Uh didn't they do this already?
>Ray Fisher is chimping out on Twitter again
>crisis on infinite earths
kek, a 14 year old DC comic fanboy could write and cast a better DCAU then WB has
>crisis already
>with so many rewrites of characters, reboots and canons
what a fricking mess. Just get back to the drawing board. Its an embarrassing heap of scrap that keeps getting duct taped together randomly in hopes to make something function. Its dead jim, you're luck as FRICK the IP carries you sad mother frickers.
Affleck was a good Batman in multiple shitty movies. Hopefully Crisis will be good.
