KEITH STACK IN TROUBLE

/co/'s favorite shill comic is in some potential trouble. Since he can't DMCA his deleted-for-decades NG cartoons, he's been begging reuploaders to take his old stuff down, since his old toons feature his beloved characters saying naughty words his Twitter fandom would crucify him over. Ruh-roh!

I honestly think it's him who constantly shills his annoying MS paint shit here. All those threads about it never feel like actual attempts at fandom or discussion and just seems like forcing shit in front of eyeballs.

Nah, there's schizos in this board who just end up latching onto random shit and false flagging it over and over.

There's some odds it's Keith. There's slightly bigger odds it's a genuine fan being too autistic to get they're fricking up in shilling this much. There's the best odds it's someone who hates the comic wanting everyone angry by repeatedly shoving it in their faces.

I was just like you a few years ago, but then I realized that when you play fair with cheaters, the cheaters always win. When you have a logical argument with an irrational person, they always win. When you have a knife fight with a gunman, they always win. Look up "you go high, we go low" on Youtube.
You're never going to make significant progress by playing nice with people whom will gladly lie to get their way, and whose end goal is to fricking kill either you or the people you probably care about. Please grow a spine and actually try to help the people whom need it, instead of falling for the civility trap.

and just why do you think they happen? do you think the average mud farmer or factory drone in the past woke up and thought 'man, I fricking hate israelites/Black folk/gays/poles/gypsies I am going to kill them all'. it's the constant erosion of 'civilized society' and the social contract between the people to behave and the people in charge to only rape them so much. if their way of life is made even shittier, and any chance at recourse involves being laughed at, mocked, pushed down, and further eroded, they'll gladly accept any boot on their neck so long as it means those who were pushing them around, or perceived to be, are the ones getting the guillotine. I know it's genocidal language, I know it will get bad, but the scariest part is that I just don't care as long as I'm the one still standing in the end.

implies. Yes, that is EXACTLY how dictators get into power, and it baffles me that people end up FEEDING the bad guy's discourse as opposed to actually fixing things like heroes are supposed to do. It's like we humans are doomed to never learn.

They will never accept responsibility for the harm they've caused others because to do so would be disadvantageous to their ideology, without which they would feel normal and mediocre.

People need to start fighting back against people who start this shit. If these rioters were met force-for-force they would back off out of fear.

They were in most places. They only got really bad in places with leadership that enabled them. If a bunch of soibois had tried to set up a "autonomous zone" in Oklahoma or Wyoming, the gays would be lucky to be alive.

e-girlcon does cause pedophilia by definition (sexual attraction to children, fictionality is irrelevant) but I don't think its legality increases the rate of actual sex crimes

Honestly no. Lots of art has little naked kids in it if you go back to Victorian times/earlier
Hell, you said “e-girl” not “e-girlcon,” you’re telling me it’s weirder to watch Alice In Wonderland and NOT jerk off than it is to jerk off? (Obviously that’s not what you meant, but you accidentally implied it)

                Anonymous

Not to say everyone who wrote a Victorian story about a girl was a pornographer, but they certainly added a lot of what they consider titillating and the ‘appropriate’ way to enjoy a girl who was not yet mature. Then you have content like Nabokov’s which is hard to argue isn’t erotic. It’s tied into things like the tradition of buggery in English academia, there were definitely more ways arousal towards a junior could be insisted as ‘sophisticated’. Busy men in their smoking jackets and pipes with more ambitious means’ clubs and a slew of authors and culture creators behind them. And there is something to be said of all the male child nudity in Catholic art…

People definitely become accustomed to higher and higher octane pornography and join in on the fun of a bunch of perverts laughing with eachother about ridiculous pornographic memes they’ve invented while getting off on the cutting edge sexual infrastructure they’ve been building in their bubble, that’s for sure

I don't think it causes pedos, but I'd be very weary of someone who makes or faps to it.

                3DPD

In an ideal world, that'd be the case, but an ideal world also wouldn't have pedophiles. If someone can't be bothered to fap to literally anything else other than something that degenerate, odds are that the person has no qualms about fricking actual children.

Never, to a degree it's on purpose I think not just smartphones but deeper ingraining people of an online presence, the elevation of things said on the internet for political and monetary gain. There were just too many people with vested interest in making things worse for it to not happen. The only hope it would've had is people for no real reason being revolted by the internet and letting it collapse like a house of cards leaving it as something for professionals and niche hobbyists. But it'd make no sense, tthe internet is far too convenient and fun not to walk into the trap.

honestly it was just a game of biding time and holding back the inevitable flood of AIDS that infested the internet as more normies flooded in and the world got increasingly more politicized and less fun
The smartphone sped that up since it removed the tiny barrier of being needing to be even slightly computer literate to surf the web, and now everybody is basically online all the time because they have pocket sized computers in their pockets 24/7

Just started reading. Right off the bad I'd say it gives them a bit too much credit by saying they developed memes like goatse. Goatse was being passed around in the late 90s, but the thing that made it the most popular was it being part of the unholy trinity on LUE (GameFAQs's Life, the Universe, and Everything board). LUE is an underrated contributor to internet culture.

The discourse and hysteria around Black person certainly got more insane over the years.
Black person as a slur was certainly socially not acceptable since at least the 80s.
Black person being only hushingly refered to as "the n-word" as if it was some real magic spell that conjures real world injury when uttered is certainly a new thing.
People did that for network television in the same vein as "the f-word" for frick.
But you could even quote the word "Black person" and get away with it, which is a thing that would get you fricking lynched these days, (unless youre black).
So it caused this weird dichotomy where zoomers and millennials think network television language rules apply to them irl as well, which is fricking bullshit and at the same time you have Black folk casually call themselves homie and Black person as much as possible.
It's really fricking moronic, dunno if the government increased the fluoride dosage in the groundwater or if social media just enabled normies to multiply their stupidity but people get increasingly moronic these days.

The “Don’t say the N-Word Rule” fluctuated in how it was enforced. I think if you said “homie please” as a joke it was ok. But I remember one time i used the term “Black person” instead and got banned for it, and I did it on Cinemaphile too, this must have been around 2009 I believe
Nowadays the mods don’t care and I don’t know if it’s because of just Jannies no longer giving a shit or the insane amount of /misc/gays spilling onto other boards and changing the board culture in those boards

We used to have threads back in 2009 and 2010 on Cinemaphile were we would poke fun at conservative political cartoonists. Did you forget the time Cinemaphile trolled a white nationalist radio host? Edgy humor has always been here but starting in 2014 you began to see edgy posts with an agenda. Posts that don’t even have a joke, just mindless political rants

Yeah some of those /b/gays were racist and did take it seriously, but now gays like you get triggered easily and start to argue random political points, like all of a sudden you just mentioned Trump. b***h where did I mention Trump. That’s another thing too. Trumphomosexuals will come into the thread and make off topic posts about Trump. You gays need to cool with your political nonsense. Because it was never like that on Cinemaphile, because Cinemaphile was the opposite of tumblr, in other words, a place without people who were severely addicted to politics

Bruh Newgrounds back then was different. Today Twitter Twats and Zoomers complain that the site is problematic, but these fools would have a heart attack if they had been there back in the 00s/early 10s.
All sorts of edgy humor and pornography, such as e-girl and guro was all over the site, why do you think Shadman got his start there?
Also, artists and animators would constantly shit on each other for cheap yucks. Sometimes these artists would start groups were the whole point of the group was to bully and harass another artist of artists. Some examples include:
      >Cory Spazkid creating a gang of goblin bullies making parodies of other artists’s animations, spamming different artist’s sites with comments, and leaving negative reviews on people’s animations, the infamous Street Fighter Chode was a perfect example of this
      >Future alt-right Nazi/animator/child sex abuse survivor Emily Youcis made a parody of Hellbenders were her ugly ass dog OC Alfred Alfer flirts and fricks Chris, Zach and the Game Grumps
      >Zach/Psychicpebbles’s leaving book-long negative reviews on Kirbopher’s Tome series
      >A bunch of artist including well-known ones such as Joe Gran, made a group where they created called Brawl Funnies where they parodied Rina-Chan’s Brawl Taunts
      >Max Gilardi making a parody of Africa Dudes where he goes on a long rant that ends with a racist joke
      >Speedoru making a parody of Max’s MLP parody series
It was like High School for artists…and it was beautiful
Keith probably wanted to poke fun at Yotam for shits and giggles

          Yes
I found it! Speedo must have deleted it from his NG account. Not surprised either. Tom Fulp did say on the Sleepycabin podcast that old NG animators have asked him to get rid of their more edgy videos because many of those animators are now looking for jobs.
          Anyway here’s the video

I think he even called the video Clop.MOV, as a parody of Max’s Pony.MOV

God, I miss when we had animation that was well-drawn and edgy, even if most of it was stale video game parodies. Stuff like this doesn't exist anymore.

              Anonymous

Ehhhh, to be fair a lot of it wasn’t well drawn, for every Max G, SteffStoffels, or Speedoru you had a lot of guys doing low effort pixel animations that were just “what if Mario fought Sonic?” The animation has gotten better as has the tools and software, but I agree, in that the art and animation community online has become a giant hugbox where everyone is too afraid to offend, and I feel we millennials are to blame. I feel like when many millennials started to behave like the pc-police, many zoomers copied that and began their own cancel campaigns. Christ I see zoomers trying to cancel artists on Twatter for art that was all over the place on NG back in 2010

Not the anon you quoted, but "I used to be like you" in a normal conversation is usually said when the person wants to show that he walked your path and know what's better for you, the problem is, is very hard to know a person so well that you can say that.
Worked on the suicide line for a time and this type of speech was a thing that we were extremely against (the place that I worked had all types of people, not just suicidal, but also just sad people that need to talk with someone), putting yourself in a place that youcan just say "i know what you need, i'm project my past into you and now you should follow my path" can be very arrogant if you are talking face to face with someone, imagine in a random forum, you don't know that anon, you don't know his problems, you don't know why he does what he does, try to understand people and their actions before acting like you have some type of mental high ground, it damages people who could really use some help.

I think the spoiled brat part is reading too much into it. The world has always been lousy with fake ass moralists who want to feel superior for fricking nothing. The internet makes it easier than ever both in finding targets, garnering reach, and the ability to completely dehumanize anyone because they're just a collection of pixels.

The internet makes it easier than ever both in finding targets, garnering reach, and the ability to completely dehumanize anyone because they're just a collection of pixels.

My theory is that it grew out of the push for "representation." Part of why people want representation of LGBT, or neurodivergents, or whatever else is the current thing is that it will make society at large accept them via exposure to positive examples of characters with these traits. If they believe it's possible to promote good things this way, then logically they believe it should be possible to promote bad things in the same way. Often people who rail against various kinds of porn argue that it will "normalize" the behavior shown in the porn to the viewer and make them think it is ok IRL.

So since Amity is a teenager and has her breasts out, the viewer will think it's ok to look at a teenager's breasts IRL and some poor girl IRL will wind up suffering the consequences. In the mind of these people, they are potentially saving someone from harm from discouraging the creation and accessibility of this mindbending media.

I'm basing this on my personal perception that anti-dicky/jailbait drawing people tend to be leftoids, but I guess people freaking about gay kisses and shit could be the right wing counterpart of them.

Yeah if you do literally anything on Cinemaphile you have to deeply deeply hide your identity and make sure to totally blend in and be unknown or else just by virtue of knowing or recognizing you, the board will instinctively start to hate you and try to destroy you and even if you do your best to remain completely anonymous and produce/show nothing, if you’re interesting enough they will realize you are somebody anyways and make a habit of trying to personally hurt you whenever you anonymously appear, to the point where they eventually just pretend the other users are you so they can bully them as if they were you if you quit showing up

This is mean. I got made fun of like this all the time when I made cartoons and it fricking sucked. It didn’t give me a thick skin or make me a better artist or make me think more about what I was doing, it just hurt.

The fact that all the people patting you on the back for this cartoon are old school-newgrounds types with very few “STAs” commenting speaks volumes. You can use this thread to pretend it’s all in good fun, but it’s not fun, it’s mean. It hurts.

These are kids who are all creating, sharing themselves, and trying to find a way to belong. This video only serves to segregate two groups of individuals both primarily populated by people who desperately want to connect with one another.

This is just back to the gay gene, which is an easy idea but doesn’t have any basis in reality. Yes people’s sexualities may become inalienable and solid where you can say ‘this guy is gay’ and ‘this woman has jungle fever’ and ‘this guy is a pedo’ or what have you, but to insist they’re purely genetic is skipping the massive unsolved reality of maturation, development, and non-genetic material differences in people and their lives. Now that’s not say oh any given person should just see themselves as sexually changeable and not understand what they’re attracted to, but many people do change in sexual taste. Sure most people are generally settled in their sexuality with time, but just because it’s sensible not to question people’s sexualities, doesn’t mean sexuality is decided before birth by some genetic or soul-factor. I mean really what is the connection there? It’s always seemed like a leap, to say anyone has some sexual destiny or prenatal sexual truth about them. I mean what would the explanation be there

      Source?

        Anonymous

I guess my question is, if everyone has one sexuality, or at least a set of sexualities that are most true for them and that each person is individually supposed to get to, where does it come from? We usually take it as given that people are born with it, but that’s a bit reductive isn’t it? Especially if we can’t find a source. That’s not to say sexuality is all fake or whatever but in truth it’s considered a mystery isn’t it?

          Anonymous

Current understanding is that it's partially due to parental genetics and partially due to prenatal enviornment.

It's that humor from when being gay started not to be a joke and was becoming a real thing. So you'd have a bunch of 90s kids who just called stuff gay and found the entire thing to just be comedy, and they're suddenly in a world where all of the gay jokes they used to make, aren't jokes anymore. So you do get this hilarious mix of gay jokes and gay acceptance, the "hey man sorry for making fun of you, to make it up to you, I got you a rainbow cake, you know, cause you're gay" thing. It is funny, it is a bit dastardly, and there's a nostalgia to it. That being said I have no reason to believe this artist isn't basically a good guy. I don't know what anyone's problem is. He's just drawing nicktoons with some weird characters
