I didn't say that, nobody said a thing, please get your head out of politics for 2 seconds.
All of this was because of bad business moves you fucking retard.
You know Karl Marx once said that religion is the opiate of the masses
He was wrong
Culture war politics IS the opiate of the masses. Because I’ve noticed there’s a type of chronically online retards who thinks everything revolves around politics, specially culture war politics. CN was killed by a merger and bad management. That’s it. No more no less you cunt
Not likely. Stuff like that is usually taken down, shoved into a truck and dumped at some storage site and forgotten about. Most businesses won’t sell that kind of stuff unless they are defunct
We took a big ole shit in from of the stand for the upcoming hit show, Out of Jimmy’s Head, then I payed Lauren Faust to suck her toes but she just took my cash and kicked my face, left me in an alley, where I was then further mugged by Mexicans
Left image triggers my autism. Why some of the cartoon cartoons are 3D while some are not?. If they wanted to make the "toons becoming real" effect, the PPG should be 2D too because they are leaving the TV at the same time than Billy and Nigel One
I was gonna argue that maybe over time, they added more characters to it to reflect new shows on the block, but I’m pretty sure Puffy Ami Yumi is the newest show of the bunch there and it has statues so it does seem like that was an intentional choice
It didn’t though. The interest was in Steven Universe, they were there for that show and nothing else, they didn’t give a shit what network it aired on
Bleak. To be fair everyone has gone completely grey and sterile in the last decade. Even McDonald's and Pizza Hut. My guess is it's another penny pinching trick, making everything grey so you don't have to spend money on remodeling or selling off the property if you move shop. Not that anyone cares about product integrity or loyalty anyways
>My guess is it's another penny pinching trick, making everything grey so you don't have to spend money on remodeling or selling off the property if you move shop
There has to be SOME evidence they know that people are more likely to come to well-decorated interiors. They have to know people hate this shit and kids hate it.
And it clearly does have an effect
It started around the same time corpos realized people disproportionately prefer drive throughs, in-app-purchases and home delivery over walking inside a business. They have no real incentive to do anything with their location beyond the bare essentials. The same happened with the housing market. Got a bunch of new development near me and it's all grey, inside and out. Grey and white. Because people are more likely to purchase inoffensive grey that matches any decor and they don't have to repaint. Remember that episode of Fairly Odd Parents where they go to the entirely grey blob world? I think about it a lot lately. Grim.
Look on the bright side, if shit really does hits the economic fan we'll go from this modern minimalist grey shit to busy bohemian gypsy wagon chic because you won't be able to afford throwing things away or buy matching items. Get ahead of the curve and impress all your friends as a trendsetter, thank me later
Cartoon Network is based now that the lefties running it have given up and just let it run on golden era reruns for most of the day. Boomerang is awesome again too with actual Hanna Barbera cartoons playing.
I remember going on a tour here with my family when we went to Atlanta and being excited seeing that place in the building. We got Chick Fil A to eat for lunch afterwards. Good times
Statues like that are gaudy as hell and always end up dated when a show ends up being short lived. You go to the studio 10 years later and they have a statue for a show that hasn’t aired in a decade. Puffy Ami Yumi and Juniper Lee were barely part of the network but that monument implies they mattered
I do agree with this somewhat, the budget for big statue displays like this was never large enough to update them. It wasn’t just CN, there were lots of places in the 00s that had novelty statues or displays that were cool when they went up but eventually you say “wow is that thing still there?”
The funniest part about this isn’t the statues being gone, it’s that the statues gave the illusion that the location was huge. The new entry way makes it look like some pathetic corner shop in a dying strip mall
Leftists ruin everything
Yeah that's totally what happened
>CNN is right-wing
holy cope
I didn't say that, nobody said a thing, please get your head out of politics for 2 seconds.

You do realize that the first anon you replied to said that to get a reply and you give them just that?
>nobody said a thing
Oh, I guess I just replied to nothing then.

I hope you at least get off on being called a retard because if you just act like this for no reason its very embarrassing
Based
You can tell this poster is 100% accurate because of how angry the replies are
Making fun of a retard for making up random boogymen dosen't make his points valid.
I'm not even a leftist and I still find it very belligerently stupid to blame every single bad thing about any industry as a result of libs. .
Wait til he finds out who created all the shows they like, too.
i mean, you're not wrong in a sense
These are the facts.
Warner Bros is dying brehs holy fuark
catroons catroons
I wonder who has the old statues now.
What happened to all of those statues once CNN Center shut down? Did they just get thrown in a dumpster somewhere in Atlanta?
probably auctioned off to colectors
Not likely. Stuff like that is usually taken down, shoved into a truck and dumped at some storage site and forgotten about. Most businesses won’t sell that kind of stuff unless they are defunct
I snuck into the Burbank building once with a friend
No security guard, no locked doors
Didn't do anything though as there were cameras
What did you and your friend do inside there?
We took a big ole shit in from of the stand for the upcoming hit show, Out of Jimmy’s Head, then I payed Lauren Faust to suck her toes but she just took my cash and kicked my face, left me in an alley, where I was then further mugged by Mexicans
Anyway photos before 2005?

TAKE ME BACK
CN is a dead bloated corpse, let it rest already
>Choosing the worst character of the main trio to represent it
Was good while it lasted
>kills cartoon network
nothing personal kid
Honestly I would argue Steven Universe revived a lot of interest in CN after CN Real happened...
Yeah
If anyone is to be blamed for the death of CN, it’s who ever came up with Teen Titans Go
It didn’t though. The interest was in Steven Universe, they were there for that show and nothing else, they didn’t give a shit what network it aired on
I hate you, but you're telling the truth.
She purposely makes herself look like a dude.
W-who got the Powerpuff Girls?
what is it about we bare bears

Koreans throw money at it

I've been watching a lot of HGTV shows recently and it's a rare treat to see anybody think about what color a room should be.

So not the 90s color vomit scribbles on everything

Are we watching the same CN? It’s the same endless cycle of TTGo and Gumball slop that it has been for a decade
I remember going on a tour here with my family when we went to Atlanta and being excited seeing that place in the building. We got Chick Fil A to eat for lunch afterwards. Good times
Good riddance. CN has been shit for ages now.

>CN currently ends at 5pm
A barely visible store for a barely visible network. What’s the issue?
What do they even sell in that store? CN has like 3 shows. Does it even have customers?
Kids aren't interested in any of that tacky shit on the left, they want slice-of-life stories about asian-american millennials living in san fransisco
