It seems like it's the Guardians of the Galaxy and Gotham Knights is 2020 Avengers. I wouldn't get hyped for either.

It looks fun I guess. I get the feeling people are going to be calling it the 'true' successor to the Arkham series when GK comes out, because yeah, that looks like the kind of cheap cash-in game we haven't seen since, what, early PS3 era? Just with an astronomical budget. The last trailer I saw (I think it was the Flash reveal one) looked pretty decent. Nothing to get hyped for, but If I see it for 30 bux, I'll grab it, have a couple of fun weekends.

Boomer is going to be the best thing about this game.
Superspeed Boomerang was a great addition. It looks cool seeing him zip around following the boomerang's trajectory and it fits with his rivalry against Flash.
why didn't they get the arkham guys to make a batman beyond game....

I don't really hold third person shooters in high esteem as a genre. And I don't play superhero games for gunplay.
Harley looks terrible, and I am annoyed that they decided to engage in cinematic "synergy" by taking inspiration from Will "b***h slap" Smith's Deadshot.
That aside, Capt. Boomerang looks good, and I want the hug the shark.

assuming the Arkham universe progresses in something resembling real time Harley would be roughly in her late 30s early 40s by this point
Its 50% her hairstyle and 40% her square head and 10% her disgusting costume. Like if there aren't alt skins it isn't worth shit imo. At least Gotham Knights has that going for it even if its a rip off of Marvel's Avengers
I love the first two arkhams but i just can't be bothered to be even a little excited for this
Don't care for the IP usage, would have prefered any other hero, but Rocksteady are usually good. AK has a lot of flaws but I feel like a lot of that is being the culmination of a trilogy.
Funnily enough it reminds me a lot of Sunset Overdrive, Insomniacs last game before Spidey PS4

I really hope Spider-man 2 won't be Into the Spiderverse the game. The first game was such a great love letter to Spider-man comics and then they started making the game to match the movie starting with Peter Parker's model. I haven't even touched Miles Morales but it didn't sound like all that either
Miles exists with Peter in the game universe so no worries about Miles being shoehorned into the spotlight. Antagonists were clearly venom and carnage and probably Yin since she went full renegade in the DLC
Was always funny how DC could do everything better than Marvel except make a competent film universe
