I hate they have him a good end. I liked him becoming a big childrens entertainer, not being able to get close to his real son but at least helping others, but I guess that wasnt enough and then he had to find some bawd he fricked 20 years and had a kid with and he went off to his planet.
John Redcorn leads a very sad and lonely life. Despite banging so many married women he made the mistake of genuinely falling for one of them, which is why he singles out Joseph among his many bastard children to try and for a connection with. Unfortunately for him he'll never be the boys "real" father, not in the way Dale is, and it tears him up inside as just one more thing the white man has taken from him.
Ironically his life only starts turning off this sad track once Nancy breaks it off with him for good and he finally starts forming a legitimate friendship with Dale, who helps him get his ancestral land back and probably has a many issues with the US government as Redcorn does. Being close to Dale also gives him inroads with Joseph, allowing him to pass down his peoples traditions and act as a guiding hand in areas where Dale is a weak parent, like when he tried to have Joseph kill that panda to get popular.
Joseph will find out the truth himself one day though and I wonder how it would go.
