There's definitely a woman in modern clothes in three brief scenes in the trailer.
One-in underground with torch with chimps near here(she is seen from the top)
Two-on the cliff near sea carried by Noa, wears tight blue shirt and grey trousers, has some backpack
Three-chained on the beach, has some grey shirt, trousers
The beach has a cruise liner/air carrier shipwreck and some huge underground bunker entrence apes try to open.
Maybe surviving humans in underground city?
I am guessing she is either an astronaut or from some last holdout of intelligent humans
I don't think the woman in modern clothes on the beach is an astronaut.
I think they find some kind of cryo storage or hibernation in the underground facility that is shown for a moment in the trailer. Probably some humans frozen to wait out the virus epidemic.

It's a good thing because they allowed the franchise to breathe and ensure that people don't get apeshit fatigue.

Doom of the Planet of the Apes.
The apes of the original series have begun regressing to animal barbarism while trying to survive in the nuclear wastelands.
Other animals such as canines have begun to show increased intelligence and also vie for dominance.
Hunted by the savage and primitive hordes the last bastions of Ape and Human civilization (now mostly at peace with one another) make their way towards the promised land.
A worldwide nuclear bomb sometime in the 2200s has resulted in the destruction of most of civilization, turning the world into a desert wasteland. The remnants of mankind fight over whatever supply of food and uncontaminated water still remaining as the strong prey on the weak. Chimpshiro is the successor to Monkuto Chimpen, an ancient martial art of assassination that trains its practitioners to kill from within an opponent's body through the use of hidden meridian points. Kenshiro wishes to live his life in peace, but after he is separated from his fiancée by a jealous rival, he begins his journey to become the savior of the post-apocalyptic world, defending the weak and innocent from the many gangs and organizations that threaten their survival. Along the way, Chimpshiro meets a young bonobo named Bat and an orphaned human named Lin, who join him as his traveling companions and bear witnesses to Chimp's many battles.
Chimpshiro's many rivals and allies include the six grandmasters of Oranga Seiken, a rival assassin's art that ended splitting into two factions after the nuclear incident, as well as his own "Brothers of Monkuto" who trained alongside him for the succession of Monkuto Chimpen. Chimpshiro's ultimate nemesis ends up becoming his eldest brother-in-training Goraohlla, a warrior who broke the law of Monkuto Chimpen by refusing to allow his fists to be "sealed", killing his master and refusing to surrender the succession to Chimpshiro. Goraohlla seeks to conquer the post-apocalyptic world as a warlord under the mantle of Ape-oh, the King of the Fist, by challenging every martial artist he sees as a threat. After a long series of battles, Chimpshiro emerges victorious over Goraohlla and it seems peace has finally come to the post-apocalyptic world, concluding the first half of the story.

I couldn't even tell you James Franco's or John Lithgow's character's names and they were probably the most memorable human characters in the new series.
The black guy in Rise was the most human character in the entire series of films since he was a based and civilised brit and not a mutt or ape (which are basically the same really) so he at least should be memorable.
Liked Rise
FUCKING LOVE Dawn with Jason Clarke being the only flaw as he has zero charisma. Put, say, Edward Norton in that role and it would have been a masterpiece.
HATED War while the problem is that they were trying to tie it into what happened with the original films with humans becoming feral and not being able to speak while that deus ex machina of the landslide wiping out the invading army was fucking stupid. I was actually angry at how much I hated the movie.
Rise and Dawn were such ludicrously and unexpectedly great movies. Saw both in theaters as a young teen and remember them vividly, War was not as good but its visuals were still incredible, more impressive than Avatar or anything else for me.
I'm the same. Dawn is a fantastic film, especially with its two antagonists with Gary Oldman hamming it up as a human warlord and Koda as pure unfiltered monke. I think they should have stuck to that setting of "Humans and apes struggling to co-exist in a ruined world" with Caesar as the one who recognises the potential with peace and has meaningful but fleeting friendships with humans he meets. I hated how War just regressed it all to "Humans vs apes but we need to reach the original film's setting by the end". So rushed and forced in a way that Caesar's or any of the apes' presence has no impact on the story, while simultaneously having no human characters to follow since they are only villains.
>What if they're actually super intelligent and think the same thoughts we do but are just unable to communicate?
I think it's pretty much been confirmed they do, especially with Orangutans, Chimpanzees and Bonobos.
>gorilla said to have an IQ of between 75 and 95, could understand 2,000 words of spoken English. The average IQ for humans and most people score somewhere between 85 and 115.
The smartest man in the world by IQ wrote a paper on how we should import monkeys from Africa because they learn faster than the other African import. Regardless of your opinion on race, apes probably do deserve more of a chance than we give them.
>The smartest man in the world by IQ wrote a paper on how we should import monkeys from Africa because they learn faster than the other African import.
Or maybe we should import those dumber than apes back to Africa? Smartest man not so smart.
they are just so chill but at the same time they could literally rip you in half and you should NEVER forget that and if you see a retarded one, you run the other way
Obviously you shouldn't run up and hug one but orangutans are extremely peaceful. They're one of the few species that solves the vast majority of interspecies conflict through entirely nonviolent/indirect means.
Why do you come here with such thin skin? FYI you can be black and not be a nagger. I’m white, live in KY, and most of my family are naggers. Stop being a bitch.
If these guys could reliably learn sign language or some other form of consistent communication with humans they'd unironically integrate into the west better than most third worlders tbh
>Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
that's posssibly the most stupid fucking title I've ever heard
wouldn't it just be Kingdom of the Apes. "Rise" or "War" make sense
Sort of lame that gorillas are automatically the "warrior" caste when it should be chimps who are the violent savages. Gorillas would be more akin to peaceful enforcers or judges. The dynamic of the peaceful/pacifists of society also being the most physically formidable would've been interesting to delve into.
It takes place "multiple generations" after War. It's probably ~50-100 years later. The virus also started degenerating human intelligence by the end of that movie.

>Kingdom of the planet of the apes >Dawn of the kingdom of the planet of the apes >Rise of the Kingofm of the planet of the apes >Fall of the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
Looking forward to the gay apes subplot. How will they show a trans ape? The last movies were definitely lacking strong female apes. Seems like a total male ape patriarchy will be the main theme in this new movie.
>no reeves >mazerunner director >written by terminator dark fate, jurassic world, and Prey writers >story completely unrelated to the trilogy >somehow shittier cgi than the one from 10 years ago >no serkis

No doubt the story is essentially about how Humans are scum and Ape is the master race; however, Noa comes to realise that Proximus Caesar is full of shit and Apes aren't the master race and didn't invent all of this technology.

So is this a remake of one of the originals or a completely new concept? If I remember correctly the last three were all remakes of the last three of the originals or at least heavily inspired by them
descendants I think, summary mentions that this was set several generations later. I'm totally fine with that, seeing bronze age Apes wielding makeshift stun guns is fucking awesome

I don't remember the name of the black guy in part 1 but one of the black guys in part 2 was named Ash. For reference I don't remember the names of any human characters from any of the movies other than that, so really your little litmus test isn't a good one.
>one of the black guys in part 2 was named Ash
>one of the black guys in part 2 was named Ash.
Nope.
https://imdb.com/title/tt0065462/fullcredits/cast/?ref_=tt_cl_sm
There's an APE named Ash in Dawn played by a black actor, but no black human characters named Ash, which is what we were talking about.
Would you like to try again, or would you like to post another paragraph of cope?
>anon thought the chimp named Ash was a nagger while having a shitfit about someone else not remembering a character being black
He cheated and he still sun goofed
I couldn't even tell you James Franco's or John Lithgow's character's names and they were probably the most memorable human characters in the new series.
The black guy in Rise was the most human character in the entire series of films since he was a based and civilised brit and not a mutt or ape (which are basically the same really) so he at least should be memorable.
They knew that if they put actual black actors on screen with talking monkeys it would've all been too obvious to the normies.
I thought Caesar died at the end of Rise?
monkeys are better than blacks you dumb homosexual. Why you insulting monkes?
imagine if they made a movie series that was identical to this but it was all about humans rising up and taking over the ape planet.
I'll probably see this but it wont top Dawn......
?si=TPM-G0CkrN-YcFlv
What a fucking great movie!!!FACT!!!
>deus ex machina of the landslide wiping out the invading army was fucking stupid
You know avalanches are a thing and are incredibly deadly, right?
>You know avalanches are a thing and are incredibly deadly, right?
Yes but how neatly it managed to wipe out the entire invading force was dumb!!!FACT!!!
Looks like monke kino is back on the menu boys.
These things creep me out
What if they're actually super intelligent and think the same thoughts we do but are just unable to communicate?
They seem pretty nice to me.
>What if they're actually super intelligent and think the same thoughts we do but are just unable to communicate?
I think it's pretty much been confirmed they do, especially with Orangutans, Chimpanzees and Bonobos.
Apes have higher IQ than some humans its funny and kinda disturbing
Chimps have been shown to have near photographic memory. They absolutely crush humans in memorization games.
When I Bing Gorilla IQ this is result
>gorilla said to have an IQ of between 75 and 95, could understand 2,000 words of spoken English. The average IQ for humans and most people score somewhere between 85 and 115.
And there are smarter apes like orangutan
The smartest man in the world by IQ wrote a paper on how we should import monkeys from Africa because they learn faster than the other African import. Regardless of your opinion on race, apes probably do deserve more of a chance than we give them.
>The smartest man in the world by IQ wrote a paper on how we should import monkeys from Africa because they learn faster than the other African import.
Or maybe we should import those dumber than apes back to Africa? Smartest man not so smart.
The way they treat Orangutans is just pure evil.
The most intelligent of the great apes (after us) and they use them for a quick buck.
Not to mention, rape them.
Bro
I want one of these big hairy orange bros as a friend. Very chill, bros.
Hell yeah.
What a finch of homosexuals
what if it chimps out though because you want to stop feeding it treats or something
they are just so chill but at the same time they could literally rip you in half and you should NEVER forget that and if you see a retarded one, you run the other way
Obviously you shouldn't run up and hug one but orangutans are extremely peaceful. They're one of the few species that solves the vast majority of interspecies conflict through entirely nonviolent/indirect means.
In Borneo you can pay money to rape a shaved orangutan.
You can also pay money to watch them get cut in half.
The government knows and doesn't do anything until westerners complain.
>rape
How do you know that sexy monkey isn't consenting in monkey speak?
Because I'm not a fucking pinkofuck and I believe that there is a such thing as right and wrong.
imagine having hands instead of feet. Imagine what the human race would have accomplished.
>anons talk about having a monke friendo
>"um let's talk about raping them instead. I know a place"
mental illness
Don't you care?
All of them are endangered. They're losing their habitats.
It's important to know what's happening to them so that we can help them.
It's not just about cutesy webms where they do seemingly human things.
It's a tragedy but you picked possibly the worst context to bring it up in. And it's already been posted on Cinemaphile recently.
I don’t want my ape bros to lose their homes
Thanks for drawing attention to these issues.
he is literally me when my dog annoys me
Wow, sounds like a civilized society populated by one race, the human race.
>In Borneo you can pay money to rape a shaved orangutan.
if this was true it would have been posted on pol
https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/prostitute-orangutan-chained-bed-shaved-30879984
no webm's = not real
Why shaved? Like anyone is going to be fooled into thinking it's a human female?
Black guys will fuck anything white
Kek
>Indonesia
>black
They have nogs there like New Guinea
In parts yes aboriginals
Indonesia is a huge island chain retard
Looks like somebody’s got some reading to do
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indonesia
You are falling for weak b8 to get anons to post pics and vids. These guys don't care about the story.
>the mirror
Anon, the mirror is basically the onion but passes itself off as real and has football news. It's not a good source.
Why do you come here with such thin skin? FYI you can be black and not be a nagger. I’m white, live in KY, and most of my family are naggers. Stop being a bitch.
Looks like a high end PC game.
how come an ape film has the best wizened old teacher character?
Because its an orangutan which have those features relatively exaggerated irl already
is andy circus in this, if not then i wont see it
He's in as Ceasar in a cameo dream
Haven’t we had enough of that for the past 6 years
If these guys could reliably learn sign language or some other form of consistent communication with humans they'd unironically integrate into the west better than most third worlders tbh
Not bloodythirsty enough. Orang lads are generally peaceful. Westoids want to murder fucking everything that doesn't look like them.
literally smarter than me.
>Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
that's posssibly the most stupid fucking title I've ever heard
wouldn't it just be Kingdom of the Apes. "Rise" or "War" make sense
It shouldd have been king of the planets of the apes
Kingdoms are on planets, and this planet is of the apes
Sort of lame that gorillas are automatically the "warrior" caste when it should be chimps who are the violent savages. Gorillas would be more akin to peaceful enforcers or judges. The dynamic of the peaceful/pacifists of society also being the most physically formidable would've been interesting to delve into.
This is what happens when monke is sick of your million tear videos
OOOH HELP ME DR ZAIUS!
are they more or less smart than someone with down syndrome.
Obviously not
You ever seen work the cash register at McDonald’s?
>You ever seen work the cash register at McDonald’s?
has anyone tried to let them?....
I mean they have no concept of money
And the orangutans do?
I think they would be pretty good at that they're excellent at short term memory and pattern recognition
Of The Of The Planet Of The Of Thes
Why are humans fully feral if this takes place like 10 years after War?
It takes place "multiple generations" after War. It's probably ~50-100 years later. The virus also started degenerating human intelligence by the end of that movie.
summary says several generations
You don't remember what the virus mutation in War does to people huh
Lmao I swore I read something that said Freya Allan was playing older Nova, that little girl from War. Guess not
>those effects
Yikes... They look technically good, but no longer like they're real animals. Looks like one of those 3-D cinematic trailers for an MMO. Kinda dissapointed tbh.
is that....
god i wish that were me
Is she playing Nova? If so will Cavill be Taylor?
cool it with the antisemitism.
WE
Is it me or this trailer would have been a lot more kino if suddenly
>WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?! WHO! WHO! WHO! WHO!
started to sound?
>Kingdom of the planet of the apes
>Dawn of the kingdom of the planet of the apes
>Rise of the Kingofm of the planet of the apes
>Fall of the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
Looking forward to the gay apes subplot. How will they show a trans ape? The last movies were definitely lacking strong female apes. Seems like a total male ape patriarchy will be the main theme in this new movie.
>Chimp starts singing smells like teen spirit
I wonder what kind of voice ape would have l if they could actually speak, lowbor high?
ALL IN ALL WE'RE JUST A
NUHVA' BRICK IN THA WOLL
Can't wait until they do another reboot series in 25 years.
this new series has taken YEARS to finish
I'm surprised Rise isn't the highest rated. Dawn and War are great but I thought Rise was a downright masterpiece.
>no reeves
>mazerunner director
>written by terminator dark fate, jurassic world, and Prey writers
>story completely unrelated to the trilogy
>somehow shittier cgi than the one from 10 years ago
>no serkis
dropped lol
This is going to be KINO of the highest order.
No doubt the story is essentially about how Humans are scum and Ape is the master race; however, Noa comes to realise that Proximus Caesar is full of shit and Apes aren't the master race and didn't invent all of this technology.
imagine if James Franco in Rise had a silly pattern for his window lol
So they're doing 6 films? Whats the next 3 gonna be about? When will astronauts come?
You fucking cowards, when will you cast Kate Mara without makeup in a Planet of the Apes movie.
Anon, look at OP's image. That's afropunk design. Not the monkey. The crown, tribal scarf, and banners.
Am i the only one noticing the mocap to be somewhat stiff?
Didn't they have Serkis to help with that for this one?
Corporate American CGI's gone off a cliff. By comparison:
monkino
Are they going for earlier 2010's nostalgia now? The fucking desperation
retard
Holy Fucking Kino OP
Is the main chimp supposed to be Caesars son?
>Remember how I watched the original movies with my dad when I was a kid and loved them.
>Watched the Burton remake with him as a teen.
>Took him to watch the reboot movies as an adult
>He's started to show signs of early Alzheimer
>I'll get to watch one last Apekino with my dad.
>>He's started to show signs of early Alzheimer
How do you feel about this scene in Rise
Probably part of the reason I no longer own a car.
HOLY
>Kike franchise
can't wait for more monkino
monke bros. . .
A truly terrifying vision of the future.
>What a wonderful day the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes!
Jesus fucking Christ
you're not gonna... chimp out on us, are you blackfren?
Be cooler if it involved the multiverse and they brought back Mark Whalberg
I have a reason to go to the kinoplex this year finally
this is why I don't like looking at monkeys
they look like blacks and I'm so tired of them I'm allergic by now
by the end of Rise, these monkeys already showed more coordination and foresight than any nagger
I mean I agree with you that they're way better than naggers but they look like them
which is enough to trigger my allergies
sorry
Dawn > Original > Rise
Is War worth watching?
These and the Monsterverse movies are the only modern blockbusters I enjoy anymore
>see teaser
>participate in the first few threads, shitpost, speculate
>then avoid any discussion after more trailers and clips are released
I've done this for the last few Apes movies because I genuinely enjoy them and don't want to get spoiled. See you guys in 7 months
yeah Im open to it but this thread stinks of advertisement and I wont be convinced otherwise.
>Directed by the Maze Runner Director.
I hope they don't turn this franchise into young adult crap. The reboot trilogy was kinoest of the kinos
How could they just ape Mad Max like that?
Why monkeys didn't evolve to have less hair?
Rocket did
I am so tired of these wakanda movies
WE
I honestly like masks better. This just looks like a videogame.
Will the humans bounce back or will it be monke from this point forward?
Why do idiots want a remake of the original where the astronauts land on the planet? We've seen that movie, what's the point of remaking it?
So is this a remake of one of the originals or a completely new concept? If I remember correctly the last three were all remakes of the last three of the originals or at least heavily inspired by them
this one's a continuation of the last three, but they'll probably take inspiration from the originals again.
Ah I see
Thank you anon
Complex Systems Won’t Survive the Competence Crisis
https://www.palladiummag.com/2023/06/01/complex-systems-wont-survive-the-competence-crisis/
Fuck yes.
Are those Cesar's son and Maurice? looks like the time skip is a bit too long for them to be alive.
descendants I think, summary mentions that this was set several generations later. I'm totally fine with that, seeing bronze age Apes wielding makeshift stun guns is fucking awesome
Am I going crazy or is the CGI actually worse than in Dawn and War?
>Am I going crazy or is the CGI actually worse than in Dawn and War?
It is owned by Disney now. Don't expect quality.
wow bogged freya allen doesn't look out of place at all in a post-apocalyptic setting /s
They can talk! they can talk!
