They came out within a few of months of each other in 2012. I doubt the entire writing, production, filming and editing of Dredd took place within a few months after the director watched a then obscure Indonesian film.
>this person is bold, daring, admirable, doesn't afraid of anything, has an clever or interesting point of view or opinion on a subject
<this something has cinematic qualities that remind me of or would not be out of place in a scene from one of the great movies of all time
Dredd not taking the helmet off is mandatory. If the primadonna wienersucking prostitute of homosexual actor can't keep the helmet on they are immediately disqualified.
love the straight faced absurdity of hearing karl urban say "mama" and "slo-mo" in a tough voice. the skateboard ramps on the side of the building were also funny in that way. liked the andre 3000 cameo. sequel when?
right after the i am the law scene the send some goons and its a close up of this guy that my friends and i cracked up at. prince/andre 3000 whatever we were making jokes for like a full minute
Childhood is liking DREDD. Adulthood is admitting that Judge Dredd is the vastly superior adaptation. Real thread theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNwqVUyqqTY
It's a better movie imo but it has an inferior version of Dredd and Rob Schneider as a horrible comic relief character. Karl Urban was better and his sidekick wasnt just Rob Schneider making shitty wisecracks
It was a fun movie tbh, the slow mo scenes were kino and I like how they didn't shy away from the brutality and gore of the setting like the Stallone version did
Ripoff of The Raid
Yeah except that it's a good movie.
They came out within a few of months of each other in 2012. I doubt the entire writing, production, filming and editing of Dredd took place within a few months after the director watched a then obscure Indonesian film.
The Raid with Guns!
Did the Raid have a hot fake blonde pouting throughout the movie?
moron.
It's the same thing that happened with Matrix and eXistenZ.
*cooms in slow motion*
Rookie. U ready?
what's the difference between kino and based?
is kino just based in visual form?
Kino is describing media and fiction
Based is a state of being
pretty much
this whole place is just ESLs spamming meme words dont worry about it
kino used to be used as a joke, these days its just annoying
If you have to ask, you're streets behind
Now that's streets ahead
>this person is bold, daring, admirable, doesn't afraid of anything, has an clever or interesting point of view or opinion on a subject
<this something has cinematic qualities that remind me of or would not be out of place in a scene from one of the great movies of all time
kino is a feeling, the apex of cinematic language. Based is an attitude. Something can be kino but not based
the raid was better
Lads, I hate falling in love during the viewing of a kino. It's like I want to watch kino, not anticipate the ending of the kino so I can COOOOOOM.
The Stallone version was better.
>The Stallone version was better.
What are you laughing at, perp? You think Dredd is some kind of serious business realistic future cop garbage?
>serious business realistic
>2012 dredd
what? did you think american psycho was serious too?
Name one (1) funny scene
Dredd not taking the helmet off is mandatory. If the primadonna wienersucking prostitute of homosexual actor can't keep the helmet on they are immediately disqualified.
Stallone was more comic Dredd without the helmet than Urban with.
Both are good and different enough that they can be equally enjoyed.
Too bad we're getting a series as a sequel rather than another movie.
How did he go from this to "Men"?
lel this was one of the best uses of comics as a medium to trick the reader
no Domhnall Gleeson to enhance his movies to kino status
Hard to survive in a time of female directors getting all the awards
He wanted to stay relevant
this scene was so good
the delivery in the back and forth is kino as hell
love the straight faced absurdity of hearing karl urban say "mama" and "slo-mo" in a tough voice. the skateboard ramps on the side of the building were also funny in that way. liked the andre 3000 cameo. sequel when?
>andre 3000 cameo
wut
right after the i am the law scene the send some goons and its a close up of this guy that my friends and i cracked up at. prince/andre 3000 whatever we were making jokes for like a full minute

>Childhood is liking DREDD
You are too young to pull that shit.
Yes, but Stallone´s was better.
It's a better movie imo but it has an inferior version of Dredd and Rob Schneider as a horrible comic relief character. Karl Urban was better and his sidekick wasnt just Rob Schneider making shitty wisecracks
It was a fun movie tbh, the slow mo scenes were kino and I like how they didn't shy away from the brutality and gore of the setting like the Stallone version did
Shit's mid.
All jokes aside I think both versions are fun. Dredd is a bit overrated while Judge Dredd is underrated imo.
Hey FRICK The Raid.
Dredd was White movie for White people
my mind was blown when it dawned on me these were all the same guy.
I just had an unironic Keanu Whoa.
I totally forgot Butcher was ever Dredd
OI
He looks different in every role he does
His best role was still as Eomer in LOTR
