I don't really care who he casts, I wouldn't be surprised by anyone. I'm just curious if it's going to be entertaining or if it's going to be like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood without the ending fight scene.

Tarantino is a hack. His final movie should be Kill Beatrix with the little black girl coming for her revenge.

Yeah either of these would be great. He gets all overly excited about characters backstories and these extensive universes and then instead of exploring them further he fricks off to the next thing. Sometimes that’s fine but a Django sequel would been better than the hateful shit.

OUTIHW is his second best movie behind Reservoir Dogs. He really should just stop now.

literally nothing happens in the movie
I get that it's a love letter to 60s Hollywood, but the plot is completely empty
it's just a bunch of conversations with disparate people, Brad Pitt driving around listening to the radio, and a fun alternative ending to the Manson murders

Jackie Brown is his best specifically because he didn't write the source material and the characters aren't all just regurgitating his opinions and observations

I'm kind of disappointed that his film catalogue is full of westerns, not that they're bad or anything just that he's going out with this movie which looks like it'll be some hollywood wankfest like Once Upon a Time, and now we will never see what a scifi-movie from him would have been like.

Yeah I want Kill Bill 3, I want Django and Zorro, I want Star Trek, I want James Bond, I want to see him do Sci-Fi and Horror other than death proof. 10 films thing is so stupid. He already dropped off quality wise so this perfect 10 filmography thing is stupid, go for 15-20 before he’s dead and if he stopped caring so much about some weird legacy I bet we’d get kino again.

Yeah one of the best things about Tarantino that gets lost in praising his dialogue is that he’s a great casting director. He has such an extensive knowledge of film that he knows which actors can pull off which characters and which lines etc.,, and it’s a shame he isn’t pulling random actors from random shit he’s aware of and giving them the right character anymore. That’s one of the reasons his movies worked so well before.

Unpopular opinion: Inglorious Basterds gets worse every time you watch it.
I used to like the zaniness of Tarantino's more "colourful" films, but now I just find it mostly annoying. Reservoir Dogs and OUATIH have become my favourites of his because they are a bit more grounded than his others.
