Shortly after it came out the best idea I saw for a sequel on here was to make it an homage to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest which was genuinely a great idea I thought.
There was also an idea to do an arc from the comics where there's 3 jokers and have Dafoe play one of the others which would also be amazing.
If you combined those 2 ideas, I think there's a clear and kino film concept

If that is the foundation, THEN Lady Gaga could work within the context, but not as H. Boring Quinn...as a version of female joker. Within that specific story confines, H.B.
