Idris Elba would be too old for a young Lando...who lets be honest, was already a young man during the original trilogy, so it's stupid to make a series about him. A series about a young Lando would span what, 10 years tops before he settles down in that mining planet? Not even that.
I don't know what Disney could even do with the original characters anymore. They already destroyed all of them. There's not a single character of the original cast who hasnt been humiliated, deconstructed, or milked in a shitty slop series that burned any interest that people could have had.
At this point I really don't think that star wars can be saved anymore. There's no base to build on top anymore. There's nothing worth continuing.
