Miracleman isn't really evil, just fundamentally kind of inhuman. He essentially becomes an autocrat but he genuinely makes the world a much better place for humanity and, unlike Miraclewoman, actually does consider and worry about the thoughts and feelings of the "cattle" he is herding.
Kid Miracleman is that series' evil Superman and is still probably the best and most compelling take on the concept.

2: The "evil superman" trope predates the superhero trope
3: Whining about evil bad guys is far more annoying at this point then the prevalence of the trope
