It's gotten so bad, even the normalgays are sick of it
You sure about that? The Boys is still in the top 10 on Amazon and there's hype for Invincible S2 and Mortal Kombat.
Omni-Man and Homelander are popular because they have way more going for them beyond just being an evil Superman.
>Omniman
>Evil
Outside of the cartoon that's kinda debatable.
The cartoon hasn't gotten to the context yet. To call Omni-Man evil is over simplistic and stupid
What would you classify Miracle Man and Stardust the Super Wizard as?
Miracleman isn't really evil, just fundamentally kind of inhuman. He essentially becomes an autocrat but he genuinely makes the world a much better place for humanity and, unlike Miraclewoman, actually does consider and worry about the thoughts and feelings of the "cattle" he is herding.
Kid Miracleman is that series' evil Superman and is still probably the best and most compelling take on the concept.
Kino.
Those guys are amorality to the max. Not evil or too selfish but they're are at Mr Manhattan levels of "Don't Give a Frick"
I wonder what the next superhero trend will be
Gay shipping?
It sounds more like an excuse by DC writers to accuse their brand of being right-wing
irredimeeble is the best one because he is only in comicbooks
give it a few years, someone will notice the lack of adaptation sooner or later
i thought irredeemable and incorruptible were currently in production/talks for a movie?
>We have Superman written out of character in a comic with flanderized characters
>We have a creature mimicking a human boy's appearance who species has zero empathy inherently
>Guy raised in a lab with probably mental issues of knowing he's a test tube baby to be a corporate puppet
>Zod but actually interesting
>Didn't watch Eternals
>A really badly written Superman with a ill defined personality
>The actual Superman but evil take done correctly
What, no Overman? Ultraman? Superdoom? SuperBOY Prime?
>the #42353498th thread about this
The rest of the board is even worse, so have a bump.
1:Omniman isn't evil
2: The "evil superman" trope predates the superhero trope
3: Whining about evil bad guys is far more annoying at this point then the prevalence of the trope
4: have a nice day at the earliest oppurtunity
