dany’s story was the worst part of got
i will not watch any more got-related projects
i do not trust grrm to complete his books
i will not elaborate
Holy shit, Rings of Power seems DOA
Gotta combine it with LOTR. Though it's still half of GoT
>She-Hulk has more searched than Rings of Power
OH NO NO NO mostexpensiveshoweverproducedbros.
>got goes to shit
>people still search for got to see how shit it is
all google graphs are worthless
It's still gauging public interest which is a useful metric.
People wouldn't be looking up how shit GoT is if they weren't originally interested in it in the first place.
Anyway, here's OPs trends graph but with the search terms more specific for TV series. Rings of Power really is DoA kek.
>12 months
why don't you zoom out you morons
jej
OP shill fricking ETHERED
Eat a dick OP you fricking homosexual
I don't get it. Doesn't this just show even more how huge GoT really was? I mean, interest in GoT completely crashed down from its peak, yet it is still more than double than big new shows like RoP and the GoT spinoff?
>>Le game of thrones is dead
>>Le season 8 killed all hype
>Why are Cinemaphile always so contrarian?
I mean, GoT is a finished tv show. Of course there is no more hype for it. What are you getting at? For that reason it's kind of shocking that GoT apparently is still more relevant and gets more google searches than upcoming shows like RoP or its own spinoff show.

Can you talk like a normal person or are you always talking in greentext only? First off, I'm not OP and yes, that's a moronic statement he made. That said, this graph clearly shows a sharp incline every time a new season starts followed by a sharp decline. This is the exact same pattern all the way from season 1 onward, only back then it was obviously on a smaller scale. Season 8 is not an outlier shown by this graph. What hype would there be after the final season when the show is concluded and the story is over? I just don't get your argument here. The last season of any tv show ever made "kills" the hype because people are done watching. If anything, what is showing the damage done by season 8 is the current lack of interest in HoD in the graph OP posted.
OP implied the hype for GoT or the new show or both was not dead. It is dead.
yes, but only in comparison to how big GoT used to be. I mean, either Rings of Power is going to be an absolute disaster of unprecedented proportions where literally nobody gives a shit about it, or you have to admit that there is at least some interest left in GoT and HoD, considering both search tames are much higher than RoP and GoT search terms even beats the term Lord of the Rings, which includes searches for books and the movies.
there is zero hype for both
they are both new shows. from what I can see House of the Dragon is going to be a good show and have viewership and Rings of Power just your regular fantasy show for niche viewers. We'll get a better perception when seasons 2 come out, I think HoD is gonna win by a big margin.
its in the same universe as the most popular show ever, and has a higher budget per episode than season 8. it may or may not be a good show but the hype is non existent.
>Ha! Jokes on you, since we USED to be relevant!!
So moronic this might actually be georgie himself
Ahaha and then consider interest in RoP is half that tiny buzz at bottom left there.
Amazon Black person infested shit is dead and I couldn't be happier.
>searches not even above season 1 despite the massive brand recognition GOT has now
it's over
>people don't search for "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" so it's DOA
>MY israeliteGLE ANALYTICS
the absolute state of (You) homosexual shills lol
How do you know they searched for LOTR the film series? It all depends on arbitrary decisions by Google. So frick off with your dumb graph. Not my problem GoT seems to be a waste of time in hindsight.
Google would know this information based on what the user eventually clicks on through their search engine. For example, if a user searches 'Harry Potter' and is presented with links which gives the user a link to a wikipedia article about the film series or about the book series and this would be used for the trend.
You've got to remember that Google is one of the largest advertising companies in the world.
I stopped caring about the show after season 5.
>google now controls the main metric people use to gauge popularity
>nobody questions this
Kek
Damn, that looks bleak for RoP. And for HoD for that matter. Neither of these brand new upcoming shows comes close in google searches to a show that ended 4 years ago? How is that even possible?
>she-hulk beating them both
glowing endorsement
You just proved there is no increase in interest due to the spinoff
Isn't Rings of Power a pet project by Bezos? Like he's okay sinking billions into that as long as he can enjoy his show.
season 8 was genuinely hated and if you think otherwise, you are braindead or very underage. House of the Dragon looks like it's going to be political shitshow as well concerning the director came out and said he was trying to relate the story to modern USA politics like Roe v Wade when it comes to child birth in GoT universe
