Pitch me a story about the Legion of Doom.
Doesn't have to be this specific roster, you can have some fun with it.

Punchline desperately trying to hench for other villains.
Why? She loves Joker
I think for a Legion of Doom book Punchline works great as a Joker representative. Puts the other teammates at ease, and keep Joker in the loop when she reports back. He can't stand the meetings unless there's a scheme
they disguise themselves as girl scouts and try to sell evil cookies
Best idea itt
What the hell are evil cookies?
They're sold as chocolate chip cookies when they're actually raisins.
They don't wash their hands before baking them.
Legion of Doom vs Legion of Death (alternate universe Legion of Doom but even more evil and fricked up)
They open an evil car wash.
Is luthor doing topless carwashing?
Yes
I'd do a book that deals with the politics of the Legion of Doom, and what motivates this disparate group of villains with often conflicting goals to work together.
The Society makes sense, it's like a super-criminal union. They give support, they settle disputes, they even help with funding. The Legion is just a bunch of buttholes who get together in a skull building in a swamp and come up with ways to frick over their enemies.
LETS GO PUNCHIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I like this crazy c**t. Too bad they've never given her good writing beyond Joker War and her origin comic.
She alright.
SEXO
Alexis is alright, really really hope she gets a decent writer eventually
Tini Howard is a curse and DC gave her four books to write. Gotham Game was just another way to shill her Catwoman book.
Luthor disappears and there's a power struggle
Bottom row is my entire type
The Legion of Doom goes good in an attempt to discredit the Justice League. The Justice League tries to prove they're up to something, but they're just straight up good guys now.
The last existing 3rd world Old God Gog awakens again and decides to bring peace and love to earth. He spreads goodness around the globe causing an end to all wars and evilness. Supervillains take up the fight to stop the spread of love and joy to the world and defend Evil as we know it before it is too late. No villain is enough to take on that threat so villains band together to stop this threat to the existence of evil as a team.
The Legion of Doom vows to continue to defend evil from the forces of good ever after. Just before a Good armada of alien Get Alongers arrive in orbit to bring peace to Earth through love and understanding...
Sounds like an Earth 3 story.
It could work if Gog's everyone be friends mind control aura brainwashes every hero, leaving only the villains left to stop him.
They just did a Gog story in World's Finest. Too soon.
This sounds stupid
you are stupid
stop coming here and saying stupid things anon, frick off.
I like that Joker went AWOL and they said, "Okay, we still need a crazy clown who knows chemistry and gadgets. What's his new squeeze doing?"
Luthor knows branding is important.
I had an idea where after a plan to destroy the Justice League goes awry, the LoD end up teleported into deep space and have to work together to survive and get back home. It would mostly be about their personalities and philosophies clashing as a way to showcase that, while an entirely fun concept, the Legion of Doom doesn't really work because outside of one single goal - these guys have absolutely nothing in common. The roster would be purely archenemies of the big seven:
>Lex
>Joker
>Cheetah
>Captain Cold
>Sinestro
>Black Manta
>Despero?
I know Despero isn't really a team guy but I see him as closer to an enemy to J'onn over sticking Grodd on the team just for being another psychic nonhuman.
Too similar to that awful "Salvation Run" story.
I think the similarities begin and end at "villains in space".
what's your ideal LOD roster?
The lamest/weakest villains from each of the main JL heroes form up a new legion. It starts as just petty crime stuff but slowly spirals into them accidentally becoming the biggest enemy to the world.
That one sounds fun. I like "joke" characters evolving to serious threats. Who would be your members?
Not even close to being some of the worst villains but I think this is a place Killer Moth and Toyman could excel in. You'd have Moth trying to be the team leader and Toyman filling the role of creepy genius that no one really likes.
The Legion of Doom end up in Earth -3 from the Dark Multiverse. The Dark Multiverse is supposed to be made up of the nightmares of inhabitants in the main multiverse, and this universe represents the fears of Earth 3: a world where the good guys win. As such, it is a world where the heroes of "our" world are villains and the villains are heroes, but unlike Earth 3 the heroes always win.
In this world, the Crime Syndicate are fugitives who always get their asses handed to them by Alexander Luthor's Legion of Justice. The Legion of Doom run afoul of their counterparts, and have different kinds of reactions at seeing good versions of themselves who lived similar lives but made different choices. The Joker is especially insulted by his heroic counterpart the Jokester and makes it his mission to break him, but he fails miserably. The Legion of Doom try to team up with the CSA, but their egos clash so much that the Legion of Justice easily defeats them, and the Legion of Doom are sent back to their own world.
It's funny how they went for Punchline because she's a tad bit less unhinged than Joker
They just let Joker in because it's safer than not doing so. In this case he was missing.
My boy Captain Cold spotted
They use the anti-monitor tower to make their own universe with their own earth, and blackjack, and hookers, and the heroes get mad jealous
I can easily fabricate a day to day office setting for the LoD where villains come and go
Joker in this really does remind me of Judge Holden. Maybe a writer should've capitalized in trying to emulate that for the Joker in a run.
Lex's attempt to be good has left the Legion of Doom. All the heavy hitters are battling it out for who is going to be in change.
The story revolves around Film Freak, The Prankster, and Blue Snowman who are caught in the middle and are split between just trying to survive or making a play for power. In the end, only one person can be in charge.
One of the resident mad scientists creates some kind of Doomsday-esque super monster that gets loose in the Hall of Doom, triggering some kind of security lockdown and trapping the members inside. Supervillains have to work together and try not to betray each other long enough to survive the weird superbeast they're trapped with.
Basically Alien but with supervillains
Expanding on the day to day LoD lore:
>The Hall of Doom teleports periodically across the globe. Members are given schedules and secure keycards to teleport inside
>Riddler is responsible for leaving clues so members can communicate through mundane things, and he's responsible for their daily newsletters (which are encrypted and hidden from prying eyes)
>The entire Legion of Doom facility is staffed by life like human androids that clean, prepare the mess hall, and do other things upon request. Destroying them is not prohibited, but you will be billed.
>Senior members get chairs at the table for big decisions, among other perks such as private rooms and first dibs on certain tech/schemes
>There's a bulletin whenever Joker decides to show up instead of Punchline
>Calculator runs the day to day news/data stream, coordinating villains if needed
>Scarecrow has psych profiles on everyone, and gives the reports to Luthor
>Occasionally there are "conventions" in the main hall, where they show off new tech and other black market items going for sale this year
>There's a Starro spore in a giant fish tank. He's not allowed out for obvious reasons, and serves as decor
What is the difference between the Legion of Doom and the Secret Society of Supervillains?
That one story from Robot Chicken with Lex's daughter and Starro was pretty fun tbh. Adapt that.
Aren't Lena and Kon technically half-siblings?
Gorilla Grodd gets an ipad
Kino
I never liked the name "Legion of Doom".
If Marvel and DC would share the same reality, I would bet that Dr Doom would turn this group of villains into his personal servants or something.
I liked how Snyder recontextualized it, saying that it was Doom as in "destiny".
Who is the pirate (?) dude?
You mean Vandal Savage?
Who gives the best head?
Lex, he's solved every possible solution to the blowing problem for maximum efficiency.
It will feel amazing but be emotionally disappointing.
DC hasn't done much with Black Hand in a while. Why not put him on the team. Why is it whenever a villian team needs a Green Lantern villian they always go with Sinestro?
>Why is it whenever a villian team needs a Green Lantern villian they always go with Sinestro?
Cause he's the main and most iconic GL villain.
