Most of the work that goes into these videos is already done by other people all they would have is a slideshow of words on a white background
Before all the convenient shortcuts people had to record their own footage. The barrier on entry meant that a lot of people got filtered from ever making anything.
This applies to movies, music, video games, anything. Limitations breed creativity. When people who make these things solve problems they develop their own craft and get better at it. No one is ever going to get better at exporting their video to adobe and clicking on the spooky CRT filter. The creativity of the ''''''''''film'''''''''''maker ends there.
