I really dont care much about most diversity casting stuff what I would really be concerned about is the preponderance of awful CGI, lack of practical puppets that would suit the fantasy tone(as were used in the new DND movie), and other mind numbing alterations they would inevitalbly make to the stories in an attempt to "fix" what went wrong with the originals. Really the thing that doomed these original movies was bad marketing and release schedules, I dont think sword in the stone for example is any better than the black cauldron but it is far better remembered because it released without a hitch.
A live action remake for Black Cauldron in particular would be abysmal. The artstyle and animation was easily the best and only good part of the movie. It loses a lot of appeal if you changed that.

Something along those lines in terms of style would be a good fit for a movie like this, but like I said I doubt disney would ever think to do something like that.
