The "Goblin" gimmick is probably my favorite villain gimmick. Hobby had the best look, but Norman was the best Goblin.
Why are the eyes a different color is he wearing a mask? I know nothing of green goblin
It’s a mask yes. My favorite look is unironically the bulging eyes though in most panels it’s opaque enough to not see Norman’s eyes. Sometimes it’s a straight up transformation (like in Ultimate) but strangely enough they reserve this for female goblin villains for some reason, a personal gripe of mine. Someone once asked me here if it was a fetish for me to see women in masks. And it’s not, It’s just something I noticed when it came to female goblins.
Norman isn't just Marvel's best villain, he's one of their best characters, Spencer and Lowe deserve to be punished for what they did to him.

Spencer's Norman was fine.
Even sad Norman was OK if it was actually going somewhere, but those last few issues were unforgiveable, and need to be retconned away. It was like they couldn't kill him, so just took everything from him instead.
That's more on Lowe than Spencer.
