>names out of order on the poster
why do they always do this?
its only been explained like a thousand times you SHIT HEAD
it has been explained zero times why the heads are not in order of the billing
Contractual. Has to do with human psychology and perception. We in tge western world read left to right so the top cast may read left to right but as a compromise the poster will be laid out so that those same actors are seen left to right in a different order. Top billing, brand protecting, ego stuff.
I am not joking. Yes it's gay.
rebecca ferguson got paid more than ryan reinlossd?
he does die in the first third of the movie or so
Checked
Ryan Reynolds is in the movie for like 5 minutes. It's okay.
Wait, ur telling me that chick on the right isn't Ryan Reynolds?
>It was a very well made creature film.
You're joking right?
I don't remember it being poorly made but the whole time I was thinking I'd rather just watch alien again
I think my biggest problem was how they shilled the creature as some kind of organism that didn't have any individual part, but instead be all cell, all eye, all muscle, etc, only for it to have le scary creature face by the end
>only for it to have le scary creature face by the end
That's because it evolved to have a face, you bellend
>Alien
How many times are you gonna watch the same movie from 40 years ago?
I liked seeing Rebecca Ferguson get dumped into space screaming and freaking out
Hahaha bye b***h
That scene didn't make sense, she was in the same orbit as the space station so she would have come back to Earth anyway, it's not like she boosted out of orbit or anything
The whole plot point of 'pushing' the ISS out of orbit made no sense, as if you could gently tap a massive object held in place by the gravity of an entire planet and it would just cartwheel off into the void
That said it's a soft sci-fi movie, the movie says she got tossed helplessly into the depths of space to die alone so that's what happened
>The whole plot point of 'pushing' the ISS out of orbit made no sense, as if you could gently tap a massive object held in place by the gravity of an entire planet and it would just cartwheel off into the void
It's possible if you use a shit ton of Delta-v, but not with a Soyuz or anything currently in use
Her scream is one of the only ones I’ve heard in a movie that sounded real. It kinda fricked with me for a couple days
This movie sucked. I hated the ending too. Huge pile of garbage. Also garbage thread.
I hope summer is soon over.
I’m trans btw.
kys
It's okayish, a space horror that blends Alien and Gravity mostly. If you enjoyed it give Sputnik a watch (keep in mind that it mostly takes place on Earth though)
>Alien is an unstoppable Mart sue
Trash movie
>well made
>creature obeys no laws of physics or biology
nah
Any other movies about rapidly evolving creatures?
Evolution
Relic
Aberration
And John Carpenter's The Thing of course
>character's one job was to setup/maintain safeguards
>is the one to ruin this again and again
what did they mean by this?
Wasn't that character a woman?
Diversity hire?
I liked it. Basing the creatures behaviour on the patient problem solving of octopus and cuttlefish was brilliant.
>mfw it confronts the japanese guy hiding in the pod and immediately starts feeling around the glass edge and the pod cover join looking for a weak spot to pry it open
it was far more interesting when the creature was small and could get anywhere. that's why it starts strong and peters iout in the midle. also the big twist at the end was painfully predictable.
I liked it better when people said it was a low key prequel to Venom.
What people? Venom doesn't match up in any way to Life so I don't know what they're thinking to say that
>The final fail-safe was relying on the russians to dock with the station and boost it into deep space (even though that's not how orbits work)
lmao
it's a terrible rip off of alien even reusing the 'we cant let it get to earth' narrative nonsense, when it applies even less than it does to xenomorphs. the characters are moronic and the plot is stupid and worst of all it's boring.
Unsurprising the talentless Hispanic that made it also made morbius
tell me how big your penis is right now
umm not that it's any of your business but 4.8 inches
bend over and find out
Calvin is a far greater threat than Alien xenos
>they can survive in space even have le acid for blood!
Always felt like they were part of a poorly written D&D campaign that no one would play and so he wrote a script instead.
>Calvin is a far greater threat than Alien xenos
it doesnt even reproduce its just the blob but slightly smarter, one armed person could kill it even with the fantasy bio/phys aspects
Not once he’s past a certain size.
I see the film more about how highly capable people making believable human errors could snowball into a catastrophic situation.
>>Not once he’s past a certain size.
????
>believable human errors
they are more spastic moron scientists than those in promethus, the first event is them breaking quarantine procedures and then getting killed by a 1/4 lb alien worm
>Alien but worse in every way
Ok
the most colourless, odourless, tasteless, soulless monster with magic jelly muscles ever created
>Ryan Reynolds plays himself again
HOW COULD THEY JUST END THE STORY THERE?????
it was embarrassing garbage
curse the homosexuals who memed me into watching it
it was refreshing and tightly crafted
bless the anons who influenced me into watching it
Feels like it was made by ai. The movie was a soulesss boring alien rip-off.
>Jake Gyllenhaal
Very nice
>Rebecca Ferguson
Okay
>Ryan Reynolds
I will now NOT see your movie
>Jake Gyllenhaal
meh
>Ryan Reynolds
Okay
>Rebecca Ferguson
I will now see your movie
fixed*
jake gyllenhall is awesome, love him in nightcrawler
>>Ryan Reynolds
He dies in great pain. It's quite funny.
I watched it on a plane recently and enjoyed it. The little creature thing never made much sense though.
>shit ending
highly underrated film
Also I'm a huge sucker for depressing endings
is that ryan gosling on the left?
yes he makes a small cameo and they put him on the cover
>any movie with an alien in it is "Alien"
It's funny how easy the hivemind is to filter, they just follow their preset programming.
This movie is only decent but it deserves a better audience, the level of discourse is so low.
Might be the worst movie I've seen in the past decade. Everyone in it was moronic. The "twist" ending was a joke.
only memorable thing about it is ryan reynolds's death scene. i cannot recall a single event other than that.
