they literally have buzz act like a floundering moron at the beginning who needs to be saved a million times by a bunch of black people. half the space program is black apparently. plus the lesbo thing. yeah, it's pretty woke.
>they literally have buzz act like a floundering moron at the beginning who needs to be saved a million times by a bunch of black people.
Confirmed to not have watched it, Buzz is the only with enough brain to call out how useless the recluits are and save himself and them for the movie. >half the space program is black apparently.
And they were evil, the villain was black as he wanted to cage Buzz for trying to go in space again >plus the lesbo thing. yeah,
Blink and Miss and they died >it's pretty woke.
Nag
>Buzz Lightyear, a Space Ranger traveling to a distant unexplored section of space on an arc ship at light speed doesn't know about time dilation
Top jej. I closed out of the fmovies tab afterwards, ordered pizza and coke, and proceeded to watch Batman Begins while being /maxcomfy/.
Why would a kid's movie released in 1995 have an interracial lesbian kiss?
Why would Andy buy a Buzz toy considering how dull Buzz is in this movie?
Why is Zurg future Buzz rather than being Buzz's father like it was established in Toy Story 2?
>Why would a kid's movie released in 1995 have an interracial lesbian kiss?
First attempt at pride money >Why would Andy buy a Buzz toy considering how dull Buzz is in this movie?
Maybe it's the in name only reboot of Buzz Andy saw as a kid that made him say it was shit and so saw the cartoon that was better according to others
The character design was clunky
Buzz is the toy, not whatever in-world movie the toy is based on
There were no fun colors, it was just brown and other shades of brown.
Toy Story is relevant in name and with it's established characters. We didn't want new background characters that didn't even get toys.
The production and voice acting feels like a direct to DVD/Disney+ production, there's nothing grand feeling about it.
It just wasn't very interesting or engaging.
>make a Buck Rogers movie >except make Buck Rogers into Buzz >make Buzz fun and memorable like the toy counterpart >focus on camp Sci fi and bright colors >put your woke pride aside and hire Tim Allen
It wasn't hard. What were they thinking?
They literally could have just redone the TV show plot, hell make it different characters, a different deuterantagonist, change a bunch of designs, and add in some more characterization. The foundation is still solid >wienery hero Buzz Lightyear >Big dumb strong guy sidekick >Sarcastic robot >Hot rookie girl with special powers >They all learn to get along while fighting an evil villain in a zeerust space setting
Even changing some details that's a formula that would work any time in the last 90 god damn years. Why did they make it a dry, lingering-shot whispering-trailer type movie for over half its length?
Only good character was Sox who should have been in a more fun Buzz Lightyear movie, they tried way too hard to make Hawthorne into some legendary hero even though we never see her do anything remotely interesting.
Even Sox didn't make any sense. They were marooned on a planet with limited supplies. So where did Sox come from? Who built the robot? How? And why didn't other characters have their own Sox?
They couldn't even get basic worldbuilding right.
Fricking EVERYTHING.
Like, it fails as a movie on basically every level. Story. Script. Characters. Side characters. Main plot. Side plot. Voice cast. Character design. World building. "the twist", of Zorg SOMEHOW being a different Buzz from the future.
Why did they make the character design of Buzz so different/realistic? Why not just keep the Toy Story Buzz character design and make the movie more cartoony looking?
Because Disney/Pixar are soulless now, they have the technology now to make absolutely beautiful worlds and characters but they don’t have any inspiration nor creativity left to do it.
Looked like shit and people are getting woke fatigue
The movie isn't really woke outside of the lesbos and they're barely in it. The movie is just boring
they literally have buzz act like a floundering moron at the beginning who needs to be saved a million times by a bunch of black people. half the space program is black apparently. plus the lesbo thing. yeah, it's pretty woke.

It's pretty obvious

you stole this from another thread, you c**t
>inb4 it's pasta!
shut the frick up
pretty bland story overshadowed by a pretty benign lesbo kiss. Also, how the frick are you gonna make buzz the bad guy?
Why would a kid's movie released in 1995 have an interracial lesbian kiss?
Why would Andy buy a Buzz toy considering how dull Buzz is in this movie?

>like it was established in Toy Story 2?
????????????
Yes? Watch the film
well seems like this little chud's expectations got subverted
well seems like this stupid little troon is still mad that his nonsensical propaganda project flopped

the concept of a buzz lightyear action figure origin story
>make a Buck Rogers movie
>except make Buck Rogers into Buzz
>make Buzz fun and memorable like the toy counterpart

It wasn't hard. What were they thinking?
That they knew better, because they always do.
>>put your woke pride aside and hire Tim Allen
What's wrong with Chris Evans?

It’s also weird that they didn’t have a bunch of Sox models developing that warp speed macguffin

>AHAHAHA DO YOU GET IT!! SOX IS ACTING LIGHT R2-D2 FROM STAR WARS, ANOTHER DISNEY PROPERTY!! ISN'T THAT HILARIOUS?? BECAUSE REFERENCE!!
>toy story spin off
>no toys
Why would anyone care? Imagine making a Jurassic Park spin off without dinosaurs.
Why did they make the character design of Buzz so different/realistic? Why not just keep the Toy Story Buzz character design and make the movie more cartoony looking?

Gay agenda
