I mean the gay kiss is the only interesting thing in the movie to talk about because it's generic trash. Tells you a lot about it.
You know what? All this shit talking had made me more interested in seeing the movie, overall being a flop doesn't mean that a movie is completely worthless, hell there's plenty of movies that flopped but are quite good and there's plenty of movies that were box office it while being trash
The lightyear director is a good example of how immature you can be when responding to criticism. Like all you have to do is ignore the tranime tard and call it a day. But no he has to put his big boy cage on and go full cuck mode to defend his shit.

>is this manga for autists
yes, I unironically like HxH but I can see why it doesn't appeal to western non-spectrum sensibilities. It's very much a product of the Japanese mindset which in the west is reflected in autistic people.
I love organizing, technicalities, worldbuilding, strategy in mundane things so it appeals to me.
The only parts of the series that bother me are the degrading art and extended hiatuses

You see, that is the problem with anime elitists. Since you don't give people the necessary works to understand a manga like Hunter X Hunter, they just drop it or don't even read it because it's too deep for the plebeian race.

I’m not making an appeal to hypocrisy or belittling you. I’m merely arguing for a more truthful acceptance of what “seinen” actually means in the practical sense. Does it upset you, knowing the truth? That is not my problem >Claiming that it was projection, which doesn't even make sense here, is not a denial

That it is meant for people slightly older than teens. How is that not meant to be an insult? You autismo. >projection >again
Where the frick did you even get that? I pointed out, in this very post, where you started dumping on seinen (don't act like you weren't because you were) and you've been screeching projection as a defense when it doesn't even make fricking sense.
If I didn't like seinen why would I be trying to defend it? You are dumb as hell. All that pretending to be smart and you don't even know what projection means. >I’m merely arguing for a more truthful acceptance of what “seinen” actually means in the practical sense.

You are a very emotional person it seems, saying things like >YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT
or > don't act like you weren't because you were
Your post clearly demonstrates emotional insecurity; I can detect that, merely from the manner in which you posted. I deduced earlier that you were projecting, and now you seem to have validated my deductions, and strengthened my already firm belief in my own logical capacities.

yes it does. then what would?

>Yes it does
assertion fallacy
Either way, I will tell you why it doesn’t
adding “mature” content, or rather, content that would be censored from material intended to be marketed to minors, doesn’t change the essential themes from childish to mature
it merely changes the age at which people are allowed to see (or be marketed) an uncensored version of the work (e.g. rape and gore scenes removed from a film do not change the nature of the themes of the content but rather the age at which it can be legally viewed)
if you add a bunch of butt-naked women to pokemon, it doesn’t become a show for grown-ass men, it’s just a kids work with adult content
the same as if you removed all the explicit gore and rape from berserk, it wouldn’t suddenly be for 2 year olds instead of 17 year olds

Hate to take the side of the fallacy ad hominem Black person but I think he’s right about sex/gore not making something more mature
When I was 11-14 I loved media filled with sex and gore. I think most boys that age do, but because of western age ratings that mostly came about for religious reasons, many things that are obviously for young teens are considered “adult”. I think something like Deadpool or Family Guy are prime example of things that are very clearly for pre teen boys, but will get labeled as “mature” regardless because it contains sexual and violent content, even though that content is portrayed extremely immaturely
Age ratings were a mistake because now NPC’s who will enjoy anything that’s labeled as being made for them will proudly proclaim how much they love a show like big mouth, even though it should be considered embarrassing to enjoy something like that past puberty it’s content is labeled as “mature” because of outdated religious rating systems, and since normies lack critical thinking they will watch a poorly made cartoon for pre teens and wholeheartedly believe they are viewing something that was made for grown adults without questioning it
I started reading Berserk recently and it feels like it was aimed at older teens/young men. I do fit into that demographic and I’m enjoying it so far, but you should enjoy what you want no matter what your age is. Just don’t get defensive and insist that media for kids was made for you because it’s fricking embarrassing, Star Wars fans are a prime example of this

JoJo has been basically seinen since halfway through Part 6, and 100% seinen since Part 7. It's in a seinen magazine. I was disappointed with JoJolion's ending though. Shame since the first 2/3rds of it were great.

Theta/the emperor is the best thing about this arc but is filled with 100 other boring character(only rescatable are hanzo/Biscuit , and the sisters) plus kirajunka Linking park phase.
Hunterchads DUNKING in Shingekishits yet again. What absolute GARBAGE the SnK ending was. Respecting pronouns and gender identity isn’t politics, it’s basic human decency.

All Disney employees are contractually obligated to phave pronouns in their bios. That Gina Carano made fun of pronouns in hers is why they fired her.
I'm gonna be honest, it's not gonna last much longer as a litmus test... Corporations are going to make it mandatory soon. EVERYONE will have it, in their signatures.

especially with mouse projects he basically is given what they want and he just executes. easiest money there is. disney director is basically a glorified project manager. and he still argues on twitter, lmao.
He only got to direct it if he did everything they said, so he probably deep down doesn’t even consider it his movie for real, I don’t know how you could.
a lot of franchise films have these types of hired hand directors who are probably easily controlled or minded by the studio. that guy who directed the new jurassic movies was essentially that.
Yeah, a human impulse. Obviously those are natural, but here's the thing; part of being
1. A grown-ass, mature adult
2. A highly visible professional at a high level on the industry
is still having all those natural impulses but choosing which, if ANY, to actually act on.
As a child you learn this little thing called "self-control", where you learn NOT to act on every natural feeling or impulse you have, namely when it's unwise, counterproductive or unecessary.
This is further refined when you are (or really BEFORE you are) an employed adult, where you learn "professionalism"; i.e. a larger and sometimes subtler array of actions you choose not to engage in due to either how it would reflect on your employers of how it's unnecessary/pointless due to your status and level in an industry.
For example: Taking critiscism of your movie; legitimate OR trolling-based; so seriously that you feel the need to personally respond, let alone with juvenile, catty quipping, is both unnecessary and unprofessional when you're a high-level, famous director paid a seven-figure sum by a Megacorp to direct a movie about space-wizards.
In general, responding like that to every possible opportunity online is something typically associated with children who haven't yet learned basic Internet Etiquette or overaged Boomers who started using the Internet too late and too recently to learn it. This is more true by an order of fricking magnitude if you are, again, ALSO a high-level, famous director paid a seven-figure sum for your "work".
Have I explained these apparently foreign concepts to you as succinctly and as overly detailed/informative as YOU personally need? Do you need it even more explanatory for you? Perhaps some visual-aids? Some Dictionary definitions of the vocabulary?
I didn't watch the movie but it's clear they were going for a more ''grounded'' take on the character as a young astronaut, hence the lack of weird aliens and just boring looking people around. It looked so soulless that having allen voicing him with his charisma wouldn't fit the tone they were going so they got their blandest actor instead
> His politics?
Never directly acknowledged but considering how dogmatically far-left the people who run Disney are at this point that's BASICALLY been confirmed to be the reason.
If they'll fire Gina Carano because she said to be nice to each other you bet your ass they'll blacklist Allen for bringing up political double-standards.
Most common cope tactic in the world is the strawman but here it's subtle: the word "insert".
He's actually right Sci-Fi has gotten political many times, the difference is that he *shoehorned* politics in whereas they *inserted* or *incorporated* politics.
Same with every time people complain about works being "made political" they don't necessarily have an issue with using media to make a statement but when it's done in a hamfisted and one-sided way no fricking shit people get upset with you.
There is nothing political about The Day The Earth Stood Still. Marxist revisionists just screech that it's a story about America's silly fear of the "other" and the "cold war" to mock and discredit people's very warranted fears of Communism, a political system which murdered over 100mil people during the 20th century.

They keep pandering only to 5% of their country, and then they wonder why the sales aren't so good. Meanwhile japan might not produce high art, but it's incredibly appealing to everyone, hence why anime and manga are at the peak of their popularity.

It probably doesn’t help that this movie is being paraded as some major cultural war of political left vs right. And it DEFINITELY doesn’t help that the director of the movie is literally whispering in the woman’s ear telling her to continue.
These threads where poor people pretend like they have struck a blow against the establishment by pretending they don't understand what the opposition is saying is lame. Reminds me of playground banter.

No, but forcing boys to wear dresses at 5 and they grooming them to think they are actually girls and pumping them full of hormones that irreversibly affects their development all out of some degenerate, psychotic ideology for virtue points on social media and your fellow leftists, is absolutely an attack on masculinity.
So if a movie cost let's say $1M to produce and maybe an additional $1M to market and it makes $32M in the BO it's a failure as opposed to his extremely financially successful $200M movie that hasn't even gone past the break-even point yet? Got it bigger number better film.

You know what? All this shit talking had made me more interested in seeing the movie, overall being a flop doesn't mean that a movie is completely worthless, hell there's plenty of movies that flopped but are quite good and there's plenty of movies that were box office it while being trash
I don't understand that exchange.
I think that the point is that the director of Lightyear is replying like a fricking toddler.
Are you sure is a toddler? He could easily be a manchild. The anime fandom is mostly composed of them
Yeah, but why lower yourself to the level of those people then? The man is like 40-50 years (Lightyear's director)
Anon stop robotripping ASAP
The lightyear director is a good example of how immature you can be when responding to criticism. Like all you have to do is ignore the tranime tard and call it a day. But no he has to put his big boy cage on and go full cuck mode to defend his shit.
This.
It’s no different than when the billionaire JK Rowling gets in twitter fights. Like b***h you are fricking billionaire, get a life
To be fair she is working hard to raise the 41% though
But JK is making troonys seethe so it's actually funny. This guy is arguing with tranime tards which is a bit lamer (but funnier, at his expense)
He us going full ruin johnson manbaby
i think he is trying to dunk on the other guy with attack on titan in the name by stating that the AOT movie didnt make much money? Which is pretty dumb.
The director of lightyear is seething at a troll anime homosexual account and genuinely believes a domestic failure is the same as a universal box office bomb. Also he doesn’t seem to understand that 37,000,000 for some cheap nip movie is actually pretty fricking good and they probably turned a profit.
>Anime pfp tells Lightyear director that Lightyear flopped
>Lightyear director tries to one-up him by saying one of the Attack on Titan live action movies made 37M domestically (which I don't really get as a jab considering the last Eva rebuild made something like 73M in japanese theaters so I'd imagine 37M would be pretty decent for a small country like Japan)
>Comes off as a snotty b***h getting mad on twitter
Simple as
>Eva rebuild made something like 73M
A sad day for the human race
3.0+1.0 was good. Cry more.
>director gets into arguments with nobodys on twitter
always a good sign
These entitled c**ts cant help but to punch down on the little people.
Wtf i love Twitter now
>goof director furiously googling the domestic BO to own djoats02
djoats2chads win again
lel
Can you imagine how desperate a director of a multimillion dollar movie based on a giant IP like Toy Story and produced by fricking Disney/Pixar needs to be to reply to a random dude on twitter? Some random Black person with an anime avatar who got 3 follower and created his account 2 weeks ago is literally dunking on Mousegays.
just a stupid guy who direct stupid movies, simple as.
Don’t these fricking idiots have any shame these days? Gtfo twitter ffs
I mean, lightyear was dogshit but attack on titan is no better
>being filtered by togashi sama and his magnum opus
Bastard is better
>not posting the full version that includes other lingering aspects of the arc
is this manga for autists, genuine question because holy frick
>is this manga for autists
yes, I unironically like HxH but I can see why it doesn't appeal to western non-spectrum sensibilities. It's very much a product of the Japanese mindset which in the west is reflected in autistic people.
I love organizing, technicalities, worldbuilding, strategy in mundane things so it appeals to me.
The only parts of the series that bother me are the degrading art and extended hiatuses
>It's very much a product of the Japanese mindset which in the west is reflected in autistic people.
please have a nice day
It’s 100% true, autism is hereditary and Japan is an entire nation of autists
is it true that Japanese mothers jack off their sons during exam season as a way of eliminating stress?
you will never be Japanese. the mind games you play on yourself to try and soft comfort your failing brain is a false escape
Oh no I'm actually finally intrigued by this now
Don't bother. HxH is good but will LITERALLY never be finished.
Frick you, Togashi. You should have died in Miura's place.
yes
I liked it better when Toriko did it first.
That world map would make even GRRM blush
>not posting the improved Cinemaphile version showing the basic recommended reading list that includes Odes by Horace (bilingual), Lectures on Aesthetics by Hegel, The Gambler and The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoyevsky, The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction and Theses on the Philosophy of History by Walter Benjamin, Ficciones and El Aleph by Jorge Luis Borges, l'oeuvre ouverte de Umberto Eco, and Frog by Mo Yan
You see, that is the problem with anime elitists. Since you don't give people the necessary works to understand a manga like Hunter X Hunter, they just drop it or don't even read it because it's too deep for the plebeian race.
how am i supposed to read this shit why is the symbol legend in a random spot
Hahaha thats literally every anime/manga. They fricking explain everything like a Ben Garrison comic.
I also have an image saved for such an occasion
OH NONONO TR/A/NNISISTERS HOW WE WILL EVER RECOVER
It's funny cause it's true.
you guys are comparing a shonen to a comic written for adults
compare berserk or jojo to watchmen, not fricking hunter x hunter
neither Berserk nor Jojo nor Watchmen are for adults
seinen
don't reply to me about things you dont know anything about
>seinen means it’s for grown-ass 30+ men with 5 kids and blue-collar jobs
having gore and rape and bare-breasted women doesn’t suddenly make something NOT for young boys (if anything it means the opposite), stop the cap
um ok but thats not what I said schizo
my point is that “seinen” has never been anything but shounen with more gore, it only appeals to slightly older young men (17-21 as opposed to 12-16)
thats just conjecture, I could just say the same for R rated films.
I'm talking about the intended audience
My point relates only to the intended audience, that audience being young men 17-21
MPAA ratings are different because they are parental guidance systems, so they can’t be compared
idk what parental guidance things they have for manga or anime
you're dishonest or stupid if you believe berserk and hunter x hunter are written on the same level
not saying berserk is fricking crime and punishment but come on now
“written on the same level” as in what?
my original point is that Berserk having rape and gore doesn’t make it a “more adult” or “mature” manga
not a refutation
>refutation
It is. You're on Cinemaphile preaching at people. You are the hypocrite underage moron.
first of all I’m not preaching
Where did you get that idea?
Second of all that’s an appeal to hypocrisy which is a logical fallacy and not a refutation
ad hominem
Another fallacy
I win
Here's another ad hominem for you : You're a moron.
Doesn’t affect how logical my arguments are.
I still win.
>I win with rules I made up
You're a fricking idiot if you can't see that you are full of shit and wrong, not just by claiming I needed to refute you for some fricking reason, but that you did it twice. The intention of your argument is not to "prove" that seinen is for people younger than the person your posting at but to prove that they are beneath you for liking it in the first place.
Please, try again.
>The intention of your argument is not to "prove" that seinen is for people younger than the person your posting at but to prove that they are beneath you for liking it in the first place.
projection (and how would you go about proving this anyways?)
I keep winning, my arguments have not been refuted
>projection
No, it isn't. You aren't fooling me, you little b***h. Your initial jump on the age bracket was so you could point out how it was beneath you. Yet here you sit on Cinemaphile, happy as a pig in shit.
>logic
Pffft. You're a legend in your own mind.
> No, it isn't.
proofy proofs? Still projecting I’d say
> Your initial jump on the age bracket was so you could point out how it was beneath you.
assertion fallacy, you said this a few times already but can’t prove it, so you’re saying it again in the hopes it seems correct
>Yet here you sit on Cinemaphile, happy as a pig in shit
Appeal to hypocrisy, another fallacy
>You're a legend in your own mind
on what grounds do you claim this?
>projecting
This makes no sense. So... I'm "projecting" that you don't like seinen because I don't like it? lol
>words words words
Yes, it is an appeal to hypocrisy because that's what you are doing. The argument doesn't start at your fricking age bracket post. It begins where you are acting like its "not for adults" but, while true on paper, you are trying to use it to better yourself by belittling others. Holy shit you are dumb. Do I need to type it again? This is the second time I've explained it.
>grounds
Look at how you type like a massive sperging gaylord. Like
>i win
>my logic is sooooooo better than you
If your logic was so great then how are you not denying what I said was true? Claiming that it was projection, which doesn't even make sense here, is not a denial.
I win.
>So... I'm "projecting" that you don't like seinen because I don't like it? lol
that’s what projection is
I don’t have a problem with manga marketed as seinen, shounen, shoujou, or whatever
> Yes, it is an appeal to hypocrisy because that's what you are doing. The argument doesn't start at your fricking age bracket post. It begins where you are acting like its "not for adults" but, while true on paper, you are trying to use it to better yourself by belittling others.
I’m not making an appeal to hypocrisy or belittling you. I’m merely arguing for a more truthful acceptance of what “seinen” actually means in the practical sense. Does it upset you, knowing the truth? That is not my problem
>Claiming that it was projection, which doesn't even make sense here, is not a denial
That is what projection means though?
You are projecting your own emotions unto me, when I do not have them. Illogical
I win
Shifting the goalposts
I win
>Shifting the goalposts
you're the one answering imaginary questions moron
False
>projection
So, you're telling me I'm projecting just because you feel like it.
>I don't have a problem with
YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT. There's noting anyone could deduce from your spergposting that you even like it. You pointed out here
That it is meant for people slightly older than teens. How is that not meant to be an insult? You autismo.
>projection
>again
Where the frick did you even get that? I pointed out, in this very post, where you started dumping on seinen (don't act like you weren't because you were) and you've been screeching projection as a defense when it doesn't even make fricking sense.
If I didn't like seinen why would I be trying to defend it? You are dumb as hell. All that pretending to be smart and you don't even know what projection means.
>I’m merely arguing for a more truthful acceptance of what “seinen” actually means in the practical sense.
No, you weren't. Now? Yeah, you say that. But you're a fricking liar and a fraud. You have no real logic because you are fricking stupid.
>How is that not meant to be an insult
can you seriously answer how it IS meant to be an insult? Because it isn’t
> So, you're telling me I'm projecting just because you feel like
I’m saying you’re projecting because you are quite clearly projecting your insecurities onto me.
You are a very emotional person it seems, saying things like
>YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT
or
> don't act like you weren't because you were
Your post clearly demonstrates emotional insecurity; I can detect that, merely from the manner in which you posted. I deduced earlier that you were projecting, and now you seem to have validated my deductions, and strengthened my already firm belief in my own logical capacities.
Dare I say, you are silly?
>how
You really are moronic if you can't see that pointing out that something someone likes is meant for not fully mentally developed people as an insult. THIS. Right here. Is your problem. You might not have meant it, which I doubt based on the way you type, as dishonest as it is throwing out deconstructives like a smokescreen. But you did it.
>emotions
>blah blah blaah
Projection. I must be dumber than you because you act like a robot.
>my logic
lol your logic? The part where you insulted seinen and then either lied about it or didn't notice? It doesn't matter how good of a marksman you are if you bullseye the wrong target.
I win.
It's interchangeable. Consider yourself refuted. Stop preaching at people about stuff they like while you're posting of Cinemaphile, Dad.
>my original point is that Berserk having rape and gore doesn’t make it a “more adult” or “mature” manga
yes it does. then what would?
>Yes it does
assertion fallacy
I didn't ask you to explain, I asked what would
your head is so far up your ass, you're interpreting information selectively
Just don’t get defensive and insist that media for kids was made for you because it’s fricking embarrassing, Star Wars fans are a prime example of this
>poasting these "opinions" on, lol, 4frickingchan
stfu
Jojo is shounen manga
Jojo is shonen, seinen sells far less.
Part 8 and most of 7 are seinen
Demographic aside, Jojo is as much as verbose as HxH if not more.
Araki's art is better and he actually RELEASES CHAPTERS. Stands and Nen are the two most interesting power systems in manga though.
JoJo has been basically seinen since halfway through Part 6, and 100% seinen since Part 7. It's in a seinen magazine.
I was disappointed with JoJolion's ending though. Shame since the first 2/3rds of it were great.
jojo is shonen and none of those are for adults
All these years and Huntrannies have no counter to this
Here's a counter: The narration that kicks in during the chimera ant arc is perfect and you're moronic.

At least post a HxH page when it was good(Yorknew) not the shitty current arc
>not the shitty current arc
>being this filtered
Is a bad arc no matter how you seethe, Is like defending the last 30/40 miura chapters.
Theta/the emperor is the best thing about this arc but is filled with 100 other boring character(only rescatable are hanzo/Biscuit , and the sisters) plus kirajunka Linking park phase.
>endless words to describe simple development
Togashi is so damn good at paneling, fricking hell
Togashi is a god but I wish he wouldn't get sick as often.
Togashis ~~*((health issues*~~) are because he got to close to the truth with dark continent reveal and the glowies don’t want him to finish the story
Damn, I should have known.
Hunterchads DUNKING in Shingekishits yet again. What absolute GARBAGE the SnK ending was. Retroactively makes the entire series worse and Isayama did it because he was butthurt that fans liked Eren and just "didn't get it". What an egotistical homosexual. Just accept the death of the author phenomenon and make an interesting ending.
Togashi is just a straight out winner. YYH was great, Level E was great, and of course HXH is god tier.
I don't understand what this is meant to prove. The Attack on Titan page is better writing.
>rightwing vs lefties meme
You guys are pathetic. Completely fricking pathetic. "Boo, hoo, I'm so moronic and shit and I like to try to make fun of Angus (AND FAIL *MISERABLY* AT IT) because he's so much cooler and successful than me, hoo". It's jealousy, pure jealousy, but you wouldn't dare to mock him to his face because you know he'd kick your fricking teeth in if he even cared to (which he doesn't because he has way too much better things going on).
Just frick off you fricking entitled incels, Lightyear amazing and its box office will be just fine. Angus MacLane owes you shit, I almost kicked my mom in the face because of how mad you make me.
Hey angus, slow night (at the box office), huh?…
>t. Angus
t. Angus
Hey Angus, enjoy the gift.
Are you off your meds Angus?
He just deleted his own reply. What a pussy.
Maybe that's not even bad for Japan.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attack_on_Titan_(film)#Box_office
>Part I was number-one on its opening weekend, with US$5.1 million.[8][51] It was the seventh highest-grossing Japanese made film at the Japanese box office in 2015, with ¥3.25 billion (US$27 million).[52] and the 17th highest-grossing film at the Japanese box office for that year.[53] Part II underperformed at the box-office, having grossed ¥2.1 billion less than the total gross of the first film within first three weeks of release.[54] Combined, the films have grossed ¥4.93 billion ($46 million).[5]
Also, I'm on a private tracker for asian movies and that's still one of the most downloaded, even though everyone seems to hate it.
I doubt the anime guy cares about the live-action AOT movie very much.

It’s already bad when women do this, it’s pure fricking cringe when men do this.
Unfortunately in about 5 years you'll be required to have them on
By whom? I'm never putting pronouns. People can do whatever the frick THEY want, but I refuse to comply, and give them the satisfaction that I obeyed.
Work profiles/emails, social media, etc... and putting jokes ones like (sne/ed) or whatever will probably get you in trouble
I'll enjoy my severance package when I'm fired for not adding pronouns to my work profile
I'll willingly go to jail for this. I'll die on that hill.
The day they start doing that, I'm gonna add Eloha/Elohim to my name and call them antisemite if they try to refuse.
his benevolence/his graciousness
if people do not refer to me as royalty, I will throw a hissy fit, as they are not recognizing my true self
You won't be legally required, but if you don't Human Resources will come down on you like you're not wearing 37 pieces of flair.
but anons told me that trannies are just inside my head and that I'm just imagining them because I didn't took my meds
This is all you need, really.
A very simple but very effective litmus test. If they bother putting "preferred pronouns" ANYWHERE, you can basically just disregard their opinion. They're a conformist idiot, outright, no debate needed or accepted. Just ignore them.
Same shit with people using Newspeak like """PoC""" or """trans""" unironically.
Pronouns are literally one of the most important parts of speech, how could they be bad?
Respecting pronouns and gender identity isn’t politics, it’s basic human decency.
have a nice day troony. Regular humans can easily see what gender someone is. No amount of make believe on the internet can change that. A toddler can identify a troon in seconds and so can the rest of us.
Transphobe, so opinion discarded
It is not up to you to dictate the reality by which others interface with you. I play D&D but I don't force my make-believe on other people because I'm not a mentally ill frickhead.
respect is earned
so far these people did nothing that make me respect them
>Respect is earned
Why can't you just be a decent human being and just respect them regardless?
Then he can't be an edgy homosexual on Cinemaphile.
Greatest irony is that these people NEVER do anything deserving respect themselves.
these people don't even respect themselves. why should I doing their bidding
how old are you? serious question
Then respect would be worthless if it never had to be earned or gained in the first place, mongoloid.
>Part-time Lego hobbyist
God, this culture sucks so fricking bad. So many leftist adult men, playing with Lego and seeing every cartoon movie. Entire left side has just gotten so insanely pathetic the last decade that I almost can’t even wrap my head around how bad it is, such bitter hateful power-hungry close-minded nerds.
There's unironic articles talking about how working out is a far right activity, and it's not just cope articles from places like daily wire trying to make conservatives look cool
There's actually a trope for this.
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HitlerAteSugar
I bet I could get an article published about how homeless meth addicts don't deserve sympathy because they followed in the Wehrmacht's footsteps.
I definitely could but I wouldn't be able to live with myself.
I always seethe harder over the “lulz random nerd stuff” bs people put in their bios than the pronouns
>lego hobbyist
>pizza lover xD
>dogmom
>streetfighter fanatic
>enjoyer of the carebears
All Disney employees are contractually obligated to phave pronouns in their bios. That Gina Carano made fun of pronouns in hers is why they fired her.
>Pronouns in bio
I do this too, it's fun to encourage their lunacy
Why do they also put possessive pronouns and shit? Are there mentally ill troon-likes who want their pronouns to be she/its or something?
Yes

>co-director of Finding Dory

I'm gonna be honest, it's not gonna last much longer as a litmus test... Corporations are going to make it mandatory soon. EVERYONE will have it, in their signatures.
Surprised it didn't catch on as much with international companies, where you can't figure out if it's a miss or mister. But it will 100% come to fruition.
Only if cowards like you conform, roll over and offer no pushback.
Kek, you're out of your mind. There's no way you won't just get fired. You have literally no defense. You can only win if you claim to be NB.

>direct a movie for disney
>get paid millions of dollars
>open phone
>see somebody doesn't like it
>"Oh yeah? frick oyu!!!"
especially with mouse projects he basically is given what they want and he just executes. easiest money there is. disney director is basically a glorified project manager. and he still argues on twitter, lmao.
This. Same thing that baffles me about Rian Johnson.
>human being has human reaction
>"oh no, why?"
more like adult has childish reaction
I don’t go on twitter at all
Yeah, a human impulse.
Some Dictionary definitions of the vocabulary?
it is impossible for a sociopathic narcissist to deal with critique.
What was behind no Tim Allen? His politics? Or what?
Committed wrongthink and was too pale and not apologetic about it
I didn't watch the movie but it's clear they were going for a more ''grounded'' take on the character as a young astronaut, hence the lack of weird aliens and just boring looking people around.
What about his Santa show on D+ though? I took that as Disney trying to get some good will after so many disasters and all the money they're bleeding.
Chris Evan's has more star power than tim allen
It isn't about politics
Tim allen is staring in the disney+ Santa series
Clearly frickin not

Did he really tell the people to die? Cause that's hilarious if he did.
kek he's having a meltdown
Most common cope tactic in the world is the strawman but here it's subtle: the word "insert".
He's actually right Sci-Fi has gotten political many times, the difference is that he *shoehorned* politics in whereas they *inserted* or *incorporated* politics.
Same with every time people complain about works being "made political" they don't necessarily have an issue with using media to make a statement but when it's done in a hamfisted and one-sided way no fricking shit people get upset with you.
They always do this cope to skirt around the issue of actually making a good movie
Yeah, but those movies did a good job at weaving political themes into the narrative while you did a real shit one.
There is a difference between actual politics and forced identity politics.
There is nothing political about The Day The Earth Stood Still. Marxist revisionists just screech that it's a story about America's silly fear of the "other" and the "cold war" to mock and discredit people's very warranted fears of Communism, a political system which murdered over 100mil people during the 20th century.

I had no intention of seeing this movie, not because it had minorities, not because it had another "yidsney first homosex scene" but because it didn't look interesting. Boring color pallete, uninteresting visuals out of those "this will be trollface in 2013" type shit. Overall looked like a boring a predictable film, and I bet the Anons that saw the movie would probably agree.
>not because it had minorities, not because it had another "yidsney first homosex scene" but because it didn't look interesting.
Wow... wow. Powerful and also brave.
who's this crazy fricking b***h?
Forget the crazy b***h, how fricking sad it is that this motherfricker is getting his jollies from random crazy b***hes on Twitter?
Either severely autistic or a robot.
A marketing bot account.
A shill not a bot you fricking moron.
Sick of you braindead normalgays calling everything a bot.
the only movie she has ever seen so it's a mindblowing experience for her
>It's me, Angus, from Lightyear
>>It's me, Angus, from Lightyear
Fricking kek
>gentle knowing nod to my fellow third weekenders
Why would you condone this literal schizo behaviour?
What a self absorbed piece of shit. This stupid b***h watches his movie 7 times and thanks him and all he can do is groan and cry about others not having a excuse to do so.
This person has watched the film 23 times and has the receipts on their Twitter to prove it. I'm happy for them, bit odd though.
no tim allen. no view, simple as that
>no Tim Allen. no view
Western animation and comics are getting so damn pissy about anime and manga recently it's pretty fricking funny
Most anime and manga are shit btw, but at least maybe not shit to the extent where 90% of discussion about them is /misc/-tier shitposting or staff gossip and shit like with Cinemaphile.
>Most anime and manga are shit btw, but at least maybe not shit to the extent where 90% of discussion about them is /misc/-tier shitposting or staff gossip and shit like with Cinemaphile.
Maybe thats because anime isnt a vehicle for seething israelites and shitlibs to cram their twisted morality down everyones throats.
Pretty sure that the latest charts for "graphic novel" sales have 95% manga and 5% or less capeshit in the top 20. It makes comic book authors seethe.
it should make comics publishers seethe but hey, let's keep making superheroes homosexuals like we did with superman's son.
They keep pandering only to 5% of their country, and then they wonder why the sales aren't so good. Meanwhile japan might not produce high art, but it's incredibly appealing to everyone, hence why anime and manga are at the peak of their popularity.
I'd be pretty pissed off too if my entire hobby was dictated by 2-3 companies endlessly whoring out the same IPs so they don't have to pay the creators anything
the dude deserves a bit of respect in my opinion, he worked as an animator since A Bug's Life. No matter he takes it personally
quite the opposite in fact. rising the ranks by shilling for woke shit just shows he's a soulless backstabber.
Maybe he just, you know, geniuely believe in it? Him acting stupid to criticism is not good, but calling him a backstabber just for his progressive leanings is just Cinemaphile being the usual reactionary cesspool
Then you'd think he's capable of producing something of quality, wouldn't you?
Oof. Too hard to watch this. I'm usually pretty cringe resistant but this is too much. Just don't fricking reply, you fricking moron.
he's embarrassing himself lol and getting schooled on storytelling by twitter literal whos
There's a tweet where he falls into the tired "Sci-fi has always been political" trap and it end about the same.
Anyone who inserts globohomosexual propaganda in their movies deserves the noose
isnt djoats a nazi troony
Considering the production cost and shit I think the movie literally lost a lot of money.
I don't see the point his trying to make.
The difference is that AoT didn't need 400 million to break even.
>go to see Lightyear
>theres a black woman beside him the whole time
>they made a black woman movie and called it Lightyear
>Anus Bikelane
.
Her alternative to this was to shoot heroin I guess
If only, she'd have hit a hot bag loaded with fentanyl and drifted off to sleep waking up in autismo heaven
what causes people to do this?? why would you waste time watching this dull children's flick 30 (!) times in less than a month??
I'm on my 8th run of resident evil 2. Gotta get all the trophies
that I can get
The sane answer is paid marketing. The alternative is too horrible to think about.
It’s definitely some kind of autism, schizophrenia, or other mental illness.
It probably doesn’t help that this movie is being paraded as some major cultural war of political left vs right. And it DEFINITELY doesn’t help that the director of the movie is literally whispering in the woman’s ear telling her to continue.
lgbt community worship their sexuality, shes probably excited that it has a lesbian couple with a child in it
when you really hate your life and need whatever escapism you can get. probably has some nostalgic significance to her
There is no movie good enough to watch that many times in such a short timespan
Wikipedia doesn't say whether he is a israelite or not
The last name suggests he's of Scottish descent.
The lack of verbal IQ suggests he's not israeli.
FELTED
These threads where poor people pretend like they have struck a blow against the establishment by pretending they don't understand what the opposition is saying is lame. Reminds me of playground banter.
He deserves the ridicule. When his animators where animating the lesbian kiss he should have stepped in then to shut that shit down. His movie got blocked from most countries that see this movie as the LGBTQ propaganda that it is and therefore made no fricking money. His career is now in the toilet as the director that lost Disney money through stupidity.
>tranime
director automatically wins the argument
>deflecting with a shitty Japanese live action anime adaptation
Yikes Pixar really has fallen off
he's trying to get someone to really come at him so he can claim victimhood and get an article written about him to bump lightyears numbers. if you need any evidence this movie flopped and killed many people's careers look no further.
Lightyear sucked. He's always mad and the rest of the bs. Minions was better and fun.
Meanwhile at Skydance studios (real Pixar)
>Delicious brunette
Nice
this looks really good and has a proper pixar feel
just found out that amy heming works at skydance now pretty good catch
>real Pixar
explain. does Lasseter run this?
>explain. does Lasseter run this?
yes
> they need to get brad bird to direct something if they want a good start on this new studio
they are, he's going to make a movie called "Ray Gunn" for the studio. The director of Zootopia and Alan Menken also left for Skydance. Disney/Pixar is fricked.
now THIS'LL make the teenagers slash the seats
> a concept (luck, children being scared at night, mexican after-life) but with BUREAUCRACY. DUDE LMAO SO FRESH
I'd love to see how they're going to make a moral out of "luck is a tangible thing controlled by magic creatures"
Most of Pixar's good films were like that. Toys BUT THEY'RE ALIVE! Monsters WITH A JOB! A robot janny THAT FINDS LOVE!
this really doesn't look that good. pretty basic and cliched. they need to get brad bird to direct something if they want a good start on this new studio
I think he's past it. Tomorrowland was pretty bad and although I haven't seen Incredibles 2 it sounds pretty bland.
Incredibles 2 was still a big hit, this Luck movie just looks totally mediocre. I guess it's still better than Disney's next animated film which is about a gay kid going on a family adventure
>Incredibles 2 was still a big hit
Yeah because it was a sequel to a fantastic movie everyone loves, it was a guaranteed success and that's the only reason it was made.
>this Luck movie just looks totally mediocre
100% agree, it looks generic as frick
Unironically, literally BUILT for BBC
>He’s getting ratioed
Someone translate this zoomer gibberish to me
I think it's "More comments than likes" meaning people disagree?
I don't know much about twitter.
yeah it's more replies than likes/retweets
zoomies dont have empathy
Twitter is kinda amazing
literally who can dunk on egogays
How about you trannies link to the Twitter shit you screenshot
no because then twitter gets traffic which is even worse
No link = fake
Step aside gentleminions...a new viral sensation of young men deeming themselves "Lad-years" have launched into theaters across the globe! Box office numbers are now going "To infinity" And we're here for it!
>mfw it's a toy advert
>little boy playing with Barbies
they're never going to stop are they...
>A boy is playing with Barbies?
>NOOOOOOOOOOO SOCIETY IS DOOMED AAAAAAAAH!!!
I generally don't like living in a world where being what a man is, is a horrible thing and no matter what a woman is, it's a wonderful thing
>a man is, is a horrible thing
So why are you pissed off by a boy playing with barbies? I don't see the link
you don't see the attack on masculinity taking place in all different types of media and the absolutely zealous veneration of women?
I was looking at this Serena Williams controversy the other night, she totally ruined this young Japanese girls tournament because she couldn't help cry about sexism. She ended up being booed by an entire stadium FOR WINNING.
>you don't see the attack on masculinity taking place in all different types of media and the absolutely zealous veneration of women?
All I see is conservatives crying because "things aren't like they used to be anymore" aka social issues being addressed and people being treated with decency
A boy playing with Barbies is not an attack on masculinity
Fun how you ignore that later example because you can't really rebut it but the barbies thing got you really assmad huh.
>A boy playing with Barbies is not an attack on masculinity
No, but forcing boys to wear dresses at 5 and they grooming them to think they are actually girls and pumping them full of hormones that irreversibly affects their development all out of some degenerate, psychotic ideology for virtue points on social media and your fellow leftists, is absolutely an attack on masculinity.
So if a movie cost let's say $1M to produce and maybe an additional $1M to market and it makes $32M in the BO it's a failure as opposed to his extremely financially successful $200M movie that hasn't even gone past the break-even point yet? Got it bigger number better film.
The iphone and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race
It would be really funny if at some point in the future some shitty AoT western adaptation made did pretty well at the box office. It's not even outside the realm of possibility.
The japanese one was shit but at least it made money, more than you can say about this loser's shitty interstellar ripoff.
Its the last Jedi again
Was the reply got deleted?
Hahaha this dude thinks anyone could give a shit about that live action adaptation this dudes out of touch
>remember when YOUR movie flopped
>HEH ANIME FAN REMEMBER WHEN ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE ANIME DIDN'T DO SO WELL?! GOTCHA
LMAO
i love historia
the guy lost Disney millions of dollars.
>no gay shit, I want to work again
>just sneak in some dicks little mermaid style.
anon they already made the gay shit firsthand
the reason they put it back was just because that florida "don't say gay" stuff
