I'm willing to bet that it still had a lot of views despite the reception. The one thing Netflix is consistent in is greenlighting more seasons for shows that pull in views.

He Man cartoons have always been glorified ads for toylines.
Either way it doesn't matter, is not unusual for Netflix to order a bunch of episodes right off the bat for animation. Disenchantment had a 40 episode order. Or for another work from this studio, the production material for Castlevania S4 was dated from before S3 even aired so they must have already greenlighted it previously
I didn't love Revelation, but I thought it had potential going forward. MOTU has never had a "good" show, so my hopes are not high.
