This movie is fricked up. Weird scene where he first hypnotizes Elliot to make a psychic link with him. Also if you're a kid watching this only a small part of the movie is alien friend hijinks the rest is he is getting really sick and dying and every character is crying.
This was not a feel good movie for kids, at all. Spielberg was off his fricking rocker when he made it and aimed it to children. Non-stop Minion movies was the end result, which is also bad, but at least nobody is slowly dying and crying, with nightmare visuals
