If I were to take a guess. They're trying to curate their streaming service. Eliminate anything that could be controversial or embarrassing to the studio
I really don't like any of these shows besides Dream Corp, but this is so fricking stupid. There is no reason all of Adult Swim's library shouldn't be streaming somewhere.
If streaming keeps up this trend we will be back to the days where everyone just pirates everything.
I don't doubt it at all. I think a lot of people got fed up with streaming when it stopped being one or two services, and started being 5 or 6.
It's only getting worse, and people will respond just like they did in the early 2000's.
Television is dying and all the executives are morons who don't understand how the internet works, so they think it's a better idea to just delete shows that aren't on streaming from the face of the earth
Piracy isn't just right - it's wrong to NOT pirate.
Only season 1 and 2 are on blu. 3 was never released so in the US you'll only be able to pirate it.
Regardless it's pretty fricked and I'm not sure why anons are pretending it isn't. You may not like the shows but there's nothing stopping them from going after something that you DO enjoy.
This is why I either get a physical copy or pirate
Are you seriously going to argue any show in the OP isn’t worthless? If not for this current controversy, you wouldn’t even know nor care Beef House or JJ Villard exists.
It's not an official account. Literally the stickied tweet. Probably just a numbers/ratings autist like myself. >t. obsessed with nielsen numbers, box office, and content ratings
This is one of tbe biggest shitshows I've ever seen for a company. The mismanagement here is legendary. Films flipping schedules, the Ezra Miller situation, shows being pulled off after months of ads, removal of shows completey from legal means, the slaughtering of nearly every scripted show at Warner that isn't HBO.
It's madness. I thought Disney was having a rough year.
Don’t know why people are acting like it’s not intentional. Discovery took all the failures AS had that were still within the statue of limitations to write off for a tax cut next year and just went and did it.
I'm not in favor of blocking access for shows, no matter how bad they are. If I want to watch something I should be able to watch it. It's like digital bookburning.
They're on kimcartoon anyways
It's further proof they are gonna shit up these channels with reality TV crap. Not looking forward to it.
They aren’t blocking access to be malicious. The shows failed to pull an audience, so Discovery threw them into the tax write off machine and whatever happens happens.
Are you seriously going to argue any show in the OP isn’t worthless? If not for this current controversy, you wouldn’t even know nor care Beef House or JJ Villard exists.
Is correct, you wouldn’t even know nor care if someone on twitter didn’t point out the fact it’s happening to you. I didn’t see a single thread for JJ Villard on Cinemaphile, but now suddenly you all care?
these tax write-offs don't seem to affect any old shows like Regular Show, which I can understand, because they ended like years ago
I know, Megas XLR was written off, in the USA, that was like a decade ago
Beef House & Dream Corp LLC (The only good show) are live action but they're here: https://theflixer.tv/tv/watch-beef-house-full-60749
https://theflixer.tv/tv/watch-dream-corp-llc-full-29068
It's so crazy watching it happened live. I feel so bad for the crews of these shows
This is annoying but what the frick is a "Beef House"?
The latest Tim & Eric series
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beef_House
Wow guys Tim and Eric really handing it to another outdated and irrelevant genre again.
Well thank god for small blessings. Now if only the rest of their output could become lost media, and they could become missing persons.
>MDEgay still seething 5 years later
I don't care for most of their stuff, but Check it Out is undeniably one of the best shows AS ever broadcast
Being a fan of Final Space is truly suffering.
you deserve to suffer for having such shit taste
>caring what other people like
shiggy
where do you think we are homosexual
Cinemaphile. Where nobody cares about anything.
it's quite the opposite, just look around you
Look in the right places and you can always watch cartoons online.
Why?
Bump, same question.
no one knows, you'd have to ask people at WBD who are involved in licensing out shows
If I were to take a guess. They're trying to curate their streaming service. Eliminate anything that could be controversial or embarrassing to the studio
Probably tax write offs
No. Those shows sound gay.
what's the reason for it?
I guess they want to remake Final Space as a 100% serious show without the forced cringe comedy.
That...actually would be pretty fricking good. The forced comedy was honestly the absolute worst part of that show. Especially in season 2.
I wouldn't mind those garbage shows being lost forever
Final Space S3 is available on Netflix everywhere but the US. There you go, I fixed one of those problems.
I really don't like any of these shows besides Dream Corp, but this is so fricking stupid. There is no reason all of Adult Swim's library shouldn't be streaming somewhere.
If streaming keeps up this trend we will be back to the days where everyone just pirates everything.
I think we're already at that stage
I don't doubt it at all. I think a lot of people got fed up with streaming when it stopped being one or two services, and started being 5 or 6.
It's only getting worse, and people will respond just like they did in the early 2000's.
Clearly is is a scam by the youtuber industrial complex to make more shitty videos about "lost media"
Final Space is already dead WB, you don't have to piss on the body. At least leave it up on HBO Max.
>you don't have to piss on the body
Yeah that piss scene was already all the pissing final space needed
That sucks. I liked Beef House.
Television is dying and all the executives are morons who don't understand how the internet works, so they think it's a better idea to just delete shows that aren't on streaming from the face of the earth
Piracy isn't just right - it's wrong to NOT pirate.
Childrens Hospital too
>Know this because I was in the middle of a watch-through when it got taken down
What the frick is a Beef House?
All of those are shit who cares. Let them become lost media, nothing of value will be lost.
Even bad media has value
I'm glad I bought the FS blu ray.
Frick this shit.
So there's physical copies and OP thinks it'll become lost media. Frick this.
Only season 1 and 2 are on blu. 3 was never released so in the US you'll only be able to pirate it.
Regardless it's pretty fricked and I'm not sure why anons are pretending it isn't. You may not like the shows but there's nothing stopping them from going after something that you DO enjoy.
This is why I either get a physical copy or pirate
>there's nothing stopping them from going after something that you DO enjoy
Yes there is: physical media. Frick this.
Aren't those in hbo max anyway? what's the big deal?
Welp, time to go sail the torrent waters.
I was told streaming was the future.
That would require companies to NOT view their properties as worthless.
What needs happen is a digital equivalent to the Fox Vault Fire
Are you seriously going to argue any show in the OP isn’t worthless? If not for this current controversy, you wouldn’t even know nor care Beef House or JJ Villard exists.
Good thing I pirate everything anyways.
I have never heard of any of these.
Wow 3 shitty shows no one watched when they aired, what a travesty this is!
Who cares about these shows
>the schedule account said FRICKING
Lol industry troons seething their crappy toons are better off as tax write offs
It's not an official account. Literally the stickied tweet. Probably just a numbers/ratings autist like myself.
>t. obsessed with nielsen numbers, box office, and content ratings

Don’t know why people are acting like it’s not intentional. Discovery took all the failures AS had that were still within the statue of limitations to write off for a tax cut next year and just went and did it.
What value was there to keep those shows?
I'm not in favor of blocking access for shows, no matter how bad they are. If I want to watch something I should be able to watch it. It's like digital bookburning.
It's further proof they are gonna shit up these channels with reality TV crap. Not looking forward to it.
Meant for

Tax write offs are a fricking meme.
these tax write-offs don't seem to affect any old shows like Regular Show, which I can understand, because they ended like years ago
I know, Megas XLR was written off, in the USA, that was like a decade ago
>so Discovery threw them into the tax write off machine
Tax write-offs are malicious, they're cancerous as frick.
aren't they temporary though?
No, they're permanent as far as I know.
Wasn't there one show that was a write off, but they still got to show it for some reason? Tenchi Muyo or something, right?
Regardless, this is why we have to pirate all media that's made online.
They're on kimcartoon anyways
Beef House & Dream Corp LLC (The only good show) are live action but they're here: https://theflixer.tv/tv/watch-beef-house-full-60749
https://theflixer.tv/tv/watch-dream-corp-llc-full-29068
Discovery sucks dick and has never put out a single worthwhile thing.
https://kimcartoon.li/
>lost media
They'll never become that since people have ripped and upped them elsewhere.
