He smashed his way through 2 divisions with nobody to really challenge him. He went up against the best of his era and suffered a loss like any other champion, his shit endurance and underestimating his opponents fight IQ is what let him down with Khabib, and Khabib made sure Conor would never get a rematch even though we all know Conor was hungry to fight him again.
His rise to the top wasn't based on his wit or his business sense, it was his impeccable timing, phenomenal left hand, excellent fight IQ, utter fearlessness and a talent for psychological warfare
Khabib quitting after he beat connor was the biggest bitch move in UFC history, Islam is good but he seems like a retarded nonverbal version of khabib and he arguablely lost the fight against volk, or at least took a real beating
he fought midgets, lost to nate diaz twice, eddie alvarez was already washed and he never had a rematch with aldo after a lucky 5 second fight. and his last 3 fights, so fucking laughable
It’s near impossible to put a Diaz down (watch Leon Edwards almost lose it) and Alvarez went on to beat an up and coming Gaethje didn’t he? And he literally rehearsed the Aldo counter so it’s not exactly luck… I’d say victory defeated him after he got all that money but in his prime he was a legit striker.
Shorter guys win belts and dominate all the time, I won't deny Conor is physically gifted for striking though. He didn't lose to Diaz. Alvarez wasn't much of a challenge for Conor I agree, but he was still dangerous to everyone else in the division which should tell you how phenomenal Conor was in the octagon. Aldo never wanted a rematch, Conor so thoroughly broke his mental state and picked apart his style and habits that Aldo would never be able to rework his whole game and come back to beat Conor, it just wasn't in the cards especially at his age. But nobody can deny that Conor made toppling a dominant champion so fucking easy it was unbelievable. His last few fights haven't been up to the standard we're used to expecting from him I agree, but nothing in his career suggests he doesn't deserve to be considered one of the GOATs
Maybe if he had a few LW title defenses. The Alvarez fight was impressive. He is a notorious FW cutbaby though, everything Max and Volk done superceded McGregors FW run.
I started boxing and BJJ about a year ago. Never felt better in my life.
Nobody asked
irish bumkino
The video of his flexing at an alligator made me lol
>relax son, I'm in control of that thing!
he’s never fighting again
Probably a good decision on his end honestly
He'll fight around Christmas time for maximum PPV sales
He doesn’t know…
Its kind of sad that even at his absolute peak, he was never that good. Decent fighter, better businessmen, goat shit talker
His striking was top notch. Pretty sure Khabib’s only lost round was against him.
>goat shit talker
>Not Chael P
Filthy casual
The Chael P home invasion threat towards Wanderlai was kino.

I'm reserving judgement on Islam until he either books or ducks a rematch with Volk
Good idea, but it's already evident he's a step below khabib. He did dismantle olvivera pretty easily though.
Khabib didn't quit after he beat Conor, retard
But did he accept a rematch?
he fought midgets, lost to nate diaz twice, eddie alvarez was already washed and he never had a rematch with aldo after a lucky 5 second fight. and his last 3 fights, so fucking laughable
He KO'd poirier, dominated Holloway and Mendes, KO'd Aldo, moved up and became the first ever simultaneous two weight champion. What a bum!

His career until the Mayweather fight was incredibly impressive. He was in the p4p all time conversation
Maybe if he had a few LW title defenses. The Alvarez fight was impressive. He is a notorious FW cutbaby though, everything Max and Volk done superceded McGregors FW run.
Yeah I'm not impressed by Jon Jones at all because he doesn't have any belts in the weight-class I want him to
>atheist white gets beaten up by muslim black
lmao
Is there any board that actually discusses MMA?
Are he and Ronda the only mainstream celebrity MMA fighters in history?
