They are liable to have a few "bangers" like No Way Home but the MCU's best days are behind it.
No Way Home was only good because Toby Macguire and Andrew Garfield, which was Sony's doing. If you leave MCU to their own devices, they will only create woke shit.
That's sort of my point, when I get into a bit more detail. Their next big hook is the multiverse stuff, meaning pre-2008 characters appearing. Lke even if someone like Eric Bana declines, they will try to get him, and Nic Cage, and Ioan Gruffudd, and others plus doing shit like Chris Evans as Captain Hydra and other alternative forms of heroes people know. They'll also bring Tobey and Andrew back at some point to to have a reunion with Holland. It's obvious their next big EG-tier event will be this stuff, and those type of movies, probably the next Avengers titled movies, will be the few that can make pre-2019 bank

yea, it's not promising any more. Maybe Feige will step in and over see that one or have a better vision on it. As much as I had issues with Dr.Strange 2 I did appreciate it, so idk, there's a chance. X-men both does and doesn't need to be good. It's got a built in audience, but if it's a hit it can grow and become the biggest leg of the MCU.
Feige ran out of steam after Endgame, they wanted to promote James Gunn into the new exec overseeing phase 4's overarching narrative but his cancelling and subsequent stint at WB ruined that plan for half of Phase 4. Feige's looking for an out and probably wants to play around in the Star Wars zoo for a while.

It's like they confused the character for the actor and deified Boseman too much. I think it's a result of treating these films like a well established universe. Think of it like the 6th season of a TV show, would they recast a main character at that point if the actor died?
Cause they clearly had big plans for the BP character - as in the T'Challa guy, not a vague mantle. I can understand the logic behind no recasting but I feel it may have been wiser to bite the bullet and had a recast accompanied with a PR show like being all respectful towards Boseman
