MH370: The Plane That Disappeared

Just watched this on Netflix. Might be more of an /x/ themed thread but I was wondering what you guys thought about this doc or just the MH370 in general. Where’d it go? Was it ayys? Government cover-up? Discuss.

Unless you're a schizo or that French woman from the doc, it's pretty obvious that the pilot did a Andreas Lubitz and locked the co-pilot out of the wienerpit, then depressurized the cabin (pilots have oxygen masks that last a lot longer than the ones the passengers have), pointed it out to the middle of the ocean and just flew until it ran out of fuel

I think he first demanded that a malaysian politician, he was a fan of, was released from prison. It didn't happen so he murder/suicided the plane. Later, said politician was released and became president hence the cover-up.

It doesn't really matter, we'll never know for sure why or how. The wreckage will never be found unless by some miracle someone stumbles on it by accident while looking for something else.

          >why is there so much russia involved in this though? Russia gets thrown in here left and right
It's literally only because they shot down that other Malaysian Airlines plane in the Ukraine a few months after 370. All of the theories are complete nonsense.

      >locked the co-pilot out of the wienerpit,
Not realistic, the passengers or the crew would have used their phones (I think facebook whatsapp etc worked at that time)

I'll admit this is the stickiest part of the theory. It's possible that he incapacitated the co-pilot some other way, then nosed it into the ocean after a while. Passengers likely wouldn't know they were off course.

I just find any other theory too implausible and inexplicable, especially anything involving the US, mostly because I haven't see anyone put forward a motive that seemed even remotely plausible.

Also, I'm not aware of any cell phone calls from the Germanwings flight that was crashed deliberately, even though there was about 10 minutes between when the co-pilot was locked out and the crash. It's possible that the plane was in a remote enough location that there was simply no cell service that would allow you to make a call.

Except they flew back over Malaysia.. If they had sent the message with no reception when they were over the sea, when they passed back over Malaysia, the texts would have been sent regardless if the people were dead or not.

Have you guys ever tried to use your cell phone in the air? Once you get a few thousand feet in the air you have no service. In-flght wifi might work, but was that even offered on this plane? I'm sure the pilot could've turned that off too.

            >All the pilot has to do though is pop a breaker to knock it out.
I think it was proved someone did disconnect all communications prior to the plane going off course, so no one would have had the opportunity to communicate outside the plane

      Anonymous

TOTAL BULLSHIT. If the co-pilot had been intentionally locked out of the cabin, when depreasserization occurred he would have had at least 10 minutes to call someone and tell the flight attendants to call people to. Plus passengers, nervous about the oxygen mask situation would have all called love ones.

PLUS, if the (completely happy and content) pilot just, out of the blue, wanted to kill himself and murder 238 other people, he would have just nose dived the plane into the South Chins Sea. He’s not gonna take a 6 hour sight-seeing tour of the Indian Ocean.

        Anonymous

        >had at least 10 minutes to call someone and tell the flight attendants to call people to.

I think they were too far from land to make a call when the plane turned around. By the time they got back over land the co-pilot was probably dead. His phone was detected by the cellphone towers which supports the pilot suicide theory. If some accident had knocked out the planes communication system you would expect many cellphones to be on trying to make contact with the ground.

He would if he wanted to drastically decrease the odds of the flight recorders being found before their beacons shut off. If he immediately crashed it, it would be pretty easy to find because the first place they look is its last confirmed position.

How many lives have been killed by locking wienerpit doors vs how many lives could have been saved (9/11)?

        Anonymous

Well, as far as I know, all murder/suicides by pilot in an airliner have been after 9/11 and involved locking the other pilot out of the wienerpit at least temporarily. After Germanwings, many countries mandated that at least 2 authorized personnel be in the wienerpit at all times, but it was voluntary

This. Was this theory mentioned in the doc?

        Anonymous

It was in the first 15 minutes but was ruled out as a conspiracy theory, while the documentary pushes that Russian agents hijacked the plane and that Russia planted debris all over African coasts or that the US jammed and shot the plane down.

Because US has sensors in parts of the ocean they aren't supposed to. These sensors show where the plane went into the ocean after they shot it down. The pilot was attempting to crash the plane on Diego Garcia but ran out of fuel. US cannot state what happened without exposing classified sensors/intelligence.

Shah didn't have anything against the US. This doesn't make sense.

Have you guys ever tried to use your cell phone in the air? Once you get a few thousand feet in the air you have no service. In-flght wifi might work, but was that even offered on this plane? I'm sure the pilot could've turned that off too.

There were cell phone pings when the plane flew back over Malaysia when they were going west. This is in their report. And yes, I have used my cell phone in the air and it's possible to have service with a weak enough signal to only send texts if you are over a populated area.

Which is why they rammed the plane in towers that were full of people and a symbol of American prosperity in the past century. Your point?

And what is the political statement when damaging some obscure air base?

                Anonymous

Yeah, it makes no sense. It's not much of a political statement to attack a military base most Americans have never heard of. The only potentially sensitive thing at Diego Garcia is that we have some B-2 bombers stationed there, but we have plenty of those stationed elsewhere. If there's something more significant there, I don't know, and I doubt that a Malaysian Airline pilot would know either.

          Anonymous

So wait...they shot it down because it was going to fly into Diego Garcia, or because it would have exposed where the sensors are?

            Anonymous

Both, detected plane incoming and shot down, the plane crash was picked up on classified sensors/equipment. US can't disclose either, although Malaysia knows this and is now left holding the bag.

              Anonymous

Let me guess: they invented the possible flight paths to lead the search away from the actual crash site (they would need to, since a mid-air explosion/shootdown creates a huge debris field compared to the plane just nosing into the water)

                Anonymous

Possibly, but they likely wouldn't even need to. Most pilots have tons of flight routes like that on simulators, but yes it could be easily faked to distract away from the actual location.

The documentary was very poorly done and there are many better ones about the same incident. Its not that hard to believe a plane could crash into the huge southern ocean and never be found. Many pieces of debris have been found in the western Indian ocean where they would be expected to be if the plane crashed in the area west of Australia. It could have been a deliberate act and might have had something to do with Malaysian politics or the pilots dislike of Chinese people. But its also possible it was some bizarre chain of events accident that incapacitated the pilots and left the plane flying on autopilot until it ran out of fuel.

It was kind of a docu drama, they pretend to ignore things we know and to know things we ignore.

Do Air France flight out of Brazil, forget the number now.

Inexperienced pilot, flying through thunderstorm, starts getting freaked out due to St. Elmo's Fire, the ionization of the air, looks like lightning in the wienerpit. Flying an Airbus with joysticks not a more traditional manual control. Joysticks don't translate motion to the other joystick. Gets into fear mode and starts pulling back on the joystick the whole time to go up out of the storm. Never tells the other officer he is doing that etc. They keep losing altitude due to the stall and nose of the plane pitched up. Captain finally comes in at last minute because he was scheduled to sleep. Finally asks the question, are you pulling back on the stick? And then it hits the water.

Currently the best explanation is this guy, Richard Godfrey who went backwards through radio trip wires and calculated where it should be at. They are currently gearing up to search the area this Summer.

But no doubt it was deliberate, hopefully the black box will reveal what happened in the wienerpit itself though since there were two pilots.

What pisses me off about that, is that it was a maintenance problem due to greed. And not only that they should have spoken with someone who could have told them what it was. They didn't know and once they pushed it too far, it went into a nose dive. They could have literally kept flying straight, ran out of fuel and just glided into the ocean, would have been no problem.

Flights, airplanes, flying machines, physically, is IMPOSSIBLE, you can not fly through "air" like you can swim through water.. because AIR IS A MYTH.

TEST IT OUT FOR YOUR SELF!! blow into your hands, does it feel hot? Cold? If you put your hand on a stove or on an ice cube, it achieves the same effect... BUT NO AIR IN BETWEEN!

HOW can you blow BOTH hot AND cold air out of your mouth? The answer is its not air it's ETHER.

BIRDS can produce wind with their wings, which is how they can fly through air... airplanes are too big and heavy to be lifted by mere wind!

EVERY AIR PLANE YOU HAVE SEEN IS A HOLOGRAM, THERMITE WAS FOUND IN wtc IN THE BURIED 911 INVESTIGATION, if you think you have been on an air plane.. YOU WERE FOOLED!!!!!

I have a fantasy that Nicki Minaj and I are on a plane together and it crashes. We both end up on a deserted island, just us two. Nicki, being a starlet, knows nothing of how to survive, while my hours lurking in Cinemaphile threads has taught me how to make fires and live somewhat off the land. We'd spend years together on that island. She would come to rely on me for survival. Eventually, she'd fall for me and we'd make passionate love for hours on end. After a few years of fricking each other, some debris would wash ashore allowing us to finish the construction of a raft, a la Castaway.

During the voyage home, Nicki and I would get separated, but we'd both make it hime. Her, picked up by luxury cruise, me by a commercial grade fishing boat. We'd both think the other had died. I would make it home a month or so later, while she was taken home immediately, being Nicki Minaj washed up on a cruise.

Upon returning home, I turn on the television and see her on Letterman doing an interview about her time on the island. I watch the whole thing from beginning to end, and at no point am i mentioned. She's trying to tell everyone that she survived alone for half a decade. Enraged, I take my savings and go on a trip to America. I find my way past Nicki's security and break into her room while she's alone.

Standing behind her, I wiener my gun to get her attention. I ask her how she could do such a thing and she begins sobbing deeply. Barely able to talk through the enormous gasps for air, she begs for her life. So we frick. The greatest frick we've ever had. The most passionate, beautiful frick that ever fricked. Then, after I cum a few times, I ask to hotdog her ass. Then, while I'm doing that one last time, I grab a vase off a nearby table and cave her fricking skull in.

I still can't figure out a theory that actually explains what happened, given all the evidence.
Every theory ignores a fundamental part of it in order to make any sense.
The evidence that ruins every theory:
    >the military base
    >the US planes that were in close vicinity
