While I was a 90s kid I did prefer the 2000s. But there was a lot of be nostalgic about in the 90s that you can only really understand if you grew up then.
Anime had more of a mystique to it and very few people knew about it, videogames were a real fringe subculture that was evolving fast just to name a few.
