I didn't mind that too much, although it did feel out of place adding robots to a dinosaur show. Though I hate the remote control dinos even more, but by then I had spent so much time watching it that I may as well finish it.
CHAD-X is the stepping stone towards the unfettered insanity of remote control dinos. Brads are a jump but more feasible in that Boston Dynamics way, Brad Xs are the show completely shucking off and letting Mantah pull out literally whatever they want to keep the plot rolling Although if I'm honest, the last two seasons ACTUALLY lost me when they introduced the romantic subplot for Kenji and Brooklynn

i've never really considered "getting a final season" to be equivalent to "cancelled". i'd probably just use "ended" for it.
my threshold is probably "shut down while substantive work is being/has been done on a season that will now never exist"
