apple is worth like a trillion dollars
Also Invasion
Wajo
See was a bit cheap but I enjoyed it
Imagine being such a gay moron you think any of that shit is kino. Bravo.
tell us what is
My only explanation for this is that they're foremost a technology company rather than an entertainment one, so they don't have an existing structure of executives who think their MBAs make them the foremost authority on what a good TV show is. So generally the people actually making the shows have much more agency.
was any of this actually good?
Silo was a bit slow. And this new season of For All Mankind isn't gripping me so far. But otherwise yes.
The only good one was Severance.
The rest are Netflix tier goyslop.
Not at all.
They have some good stuff, what's most impressive is the production level though. Their shows feel similar to when Netflix started getting big, making big projets with a good budget and good producers, writers are another thing though.
Silo is shit.
Mystery box show, but the mystery is obvious a mile away.
Also shit pacing. they had an entire episode about the reactor failing but it had no meaningful consequence to the story. It was just there to add an episode count.
>tension building arc that was solved
>no meaningful consequence to the story
You don't understand the basics of storytelling and just another Cinemaphile contrarian psued.
Pacing is definitely the worst about Silo, but the plot is interesting.
The show is pretty different from the books, also the books are worse than the show. It's just israeli drivel.
severance and slow horses are the only good shows they have
Maisie's in a new Apple show called The New Look
They are also releasing a 4 hour Napoleon cut.
Given how they funded a Fraggle Rock reboot, it'd be nice if they decided to continue Dark Crystal.
Silo I thought was okay. Foundation and For All Mankind I'm having a hard time finding the urge to keep watching after like 3 episodes.
Foundation is dragged down by the scenes with the various Black folks.
this exactly
harris is always kino, the aussie trader in the 1st season was charismatic and dominated every scene he was in, and the empire characters (despite being a bit overbearing at times) are the best parts
the romance plots suck, the characters are bland (largely including those above) and dialogue is stilted, and it is basically the sci-fi setting and mathematic formula/prophesy thing that holds interest
I'm glad they established that the black girl in monarch was a super genius who could do anything and then proceeded to give her zero lines or attention. We just have to make the monkeys happy for a bit and then they'll leave us alone.
Slow Horses is their best show
Foundation is putrid fricking trash did you actually watch the first season? Severance is alright but really appeals to redditors and women over 50.
One half of the story is putrid trash that should be skipped. The other half is kino. Imagine not using the FF button in 2023, morons.
Imagine watching something that is over 50% trash. Read the books moron
>on Cinemaphile to talk about books
youre in the wrong place lil guy
By only doing a season every 2 years.
it's all mostly season 1 stuff, real struggle is being able to keep the kino (and now high expectations) up.
The only reason I actually have apple TV is because of MLB games
>monarch
>severance
>after party
Only good shows they have
