I do like G3, some of the designs (like Twyla’s face, Abbey, and Deuce) are outright improvements over the originals, but Ghoulia just breaks my heart. Her personality is different, which is the case for everyone, but it hurts to see her lose her love for comics, and her cheap ugly outfit hurts even more. I do like the green skin, it gives her a more putrid appearance, but her cheap skirt and crop top don’t do her and her lovely face sculpt justice at all.
Interesting to see which designs have and haven't been changed the most dramatically. Ghoulia was never that big of a seller (which is why she was dropped from G2) but I guess they were willing to bring her back with a redesign, but Twyka, Skelita, and Cleo are pretty much the same.

I thought Lagoona's win came too easily after how much they built up Gil's cousin as an athlete. It would have been better if he had won but given the talisman back after hearing about Clawdeen's mom and how much it meant to the sea monsters, teaching Lagoona not to be so high and mighty about calling fresh water monsters thieves.
I like to think that Dracula read the original Bram Stoker novel. It offended him, and he went to confront the author. He finds early days of the stage play, which is where he catches the acting bug and decided to make the "true" version of his life story.

Episode idea: Lagoona sees Gil showing around a new female fresh water monster. She assumes it is a romantic rival a la her novellas, and goes overboard try to "break them up". It will be revealed at the end that the new girl is Gil's cousin/ Lochland's little sister, the G3 version of Lorna McNessie. Draculuara and Clawd feature as the voice of reason charaters.
Don't feel bad, we have new episodes today and tomorrow, but we won't get a download until tomorrow evening. Better to keep the thread alive if possible to avoid spam.
