I watched last friday in a summer cinema. Overall a good film I would recommended , Poirot films are like your robert downey junior films about sherlock holmes.
God damn is it 2005?? shitting out novel adaptations year after year doesn't happen often anymore.
I saw the Orient Express and it was pretty bad; Branagh's just a bad Poirot. I assume these movies are held up by their supporting cast
Is the orient express the 1 that started out with the dude eating an orange or grapefruit and it was trying to be like a comedy? I turned it off after that scene
I dunno how much promotion this one gut I just know I've never seen it mentioned and didn't know it existed until I randomly ran across it. It's "literally me" tier kino.
>old poirot movies with super stacked casts >super charming, whimsical, kinda silly but the locations looked impressive >new poirot movies with super stacked casts >dull, stupid attempts at action and drama
I watched the movie and had no idea this detective guy is part of a series of movies until an article randomly pointed it out. Can't promote a white male, I guess.
fuck me, even the poster is a dutch angle.
yeah, i was genuinely surprised when this popped up. surprised they made another one of these tragic shits.
Funny, I just saw an ad on ESPN
Is this shit any good?
Orient Express was okay. Death on the Nile felt like it got shat out halfway through post-production.
now that cast has 2 rapists
>Death on the Nile
Gal Gadot should be hanged for her shit performance. Couldn't finish that trash.
I enjoyed it, nice blend of cosy crime and horror schlock. Good moody atmosphere and the set does a lot of heavy lifting.
>the set does alot of the heavy lifting
Kek
But u r right
I don't like these new Poirot movies. They look like video game cartoons so much of the time.
And it’s damned good, too. Miles and miles better than Death on the Nile.

best trilogy from last years along the equalizer (black john wick) and planet of apes reboot
the *ding* trilogy
The latest one shockingly has no naggers so it's the best. Yeoh is cringe as fuck but she thankfully doesn't last long.
>le whodunnit with a dozen literally whos
why is this suddenly a genre
It always was
Whodunnits are great. These movies are shit though
Where are all the naggers?
>Shitty modern murder mystery
No thanks.
The only time ever he has looked Mexican.
How the fuck do people enjoy poirot nagger is the most boring detective.
found it by accident
total kino, 8/10
>josie ho
what a fun name.
Oh shit. Nice.
The mystery was shit, but the cinematography and direction had so much fuckin SOUL
I never see anyone mention this.
I enjoyed it
Because its fucking euroshit
she's not even swedish kek, she's finnish
Good movie, unpretentious and a nice ending. It made the festival circuit I think
fuggin checked.

How did he get to make three of these? The last two were horrible
These movies make the Poirot tv series look like a 100 million dollar budgeted masterpiece. How can you fuck up that bad?

>characters seem race-appropriate for the time period/literary source
Nature is healing
you know it's bad when movie spoiler sites don't even update it
My mum went to the cinema to see this and complained that the movie was too dark, had hardly any colour, etc.
They did step away from their 50 year old woman market which was a risky move
