someone on Twitter was angry that there's a mid season final and blamed "better working conditions" on animators for it the bait got a lot of people angry on Twitter so now the OP I'd trying to bait people on Cinemaphile after seeing it work somewhere else.
2 years wasn't enough, they need another 6 months in the middle of their show to finish the basic "animation" (slideshow fight scenes) and have more shitty music montages.
What conditions? Season 2 so far has been a slideshow fest, and what other shows are they even producing at the same time that I'm not aware of? The only animator drama that has any substance right is MAPPA on the Cinemaphile side of things, they are the ones dying to work on several projects at the same time, and their scenes aren't just slide shows.
Why does it take so long to animate such an ugly looking show, is it in house like Venture Bros? (Which could've just been outsorce and look the same) this look better outsourced.
Weird thing is Vox Machina apready had 2 seasons, season 3 is in production and it's leagues better than Invincible. Invincible felt like it was aninated by the same way as Disney's Marvel shows.
They could use this time and give curves and the leotard to Atom Eve, but this cartoon prefers to put explicit gore, that should say well who it is Robert Kirkman idiots like Kevin Feige are appearing more and more around
