I'm currently obsessing over the idea of infinite alternate universes. Post the best multiverse shows and films. I CRAVE IT

Groundhog Day
Stranger Things is pretty shit overall why did you start with that?
not a multiverse movie you moron
actually good multiverse shit:
Counterpart
Enter The Spiderverse
Coherence (the production values in this movie are pretty shitty, but it has a charm to it and does some interesting things)
Another Earth
Source Code
Donnie Darko
Fringe
Everything Everywhere All At Once
The Man In The High Castle
Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths
>not a multiverse movie you moron
Yes it is. How are you going to include Source Code but not Groundhog Day?
Groundhod Day is not multiverse you inbred dumbass, its a time loop for a single character and he is the only one affected
Source Code requires there to be at least two universes due to knowledge of the past and an outside aparateus being requierd to affect change.
>due to knowledge of the past and an outside aparateus being requierd to affect change.
>Source code is multiverse because a machine causes a time loop. Groundhog Day isn't multiverse because the cause of the time loop is unknown.
I see now.
Source Code has explict characters that exist outside of the time loop and must exist for the time loop to make sense, ergo another universe is required for its core conceit. Groundhog Day doesn't. It's that simple.
Another recommendation for Fringe. Great show, lucky to have even got the fifth and final season. Would be more popular today because it likely wouldn't have been on the Friday night death slot.
Only the first three seasons are good. 5 is ok.
Season four kinda sucked because IIRC the producers knew they were up against possible cancellation and wanted to almost reset things to get more viewers. Problem was it annoyed the existing fans - who were watching, most people just DVR'd it - and they started tuning out. Once they got the greenlight for the short and final S5, they got back to wrapping up nicely.
Some S4 episodes are pretty good. I remember that the one about the serial killer over there and the criminologist over here was fantastic.
>Stranger Things is pretty shit
It's my favourite show..
you have terrible, terrible taste
the most recent season was a step up for sure, but season 2 and 3 are some of the worst television ever made
calm down anon it's not that bad.. it's very cozy, unproblematic and safe. also the tempo is spot on
>you have terrible, terrible taste
It's extremely popular for a reason. loveable characters, cool aesthetic, emotional moments, catharsis, great villains.
I cant' stand bland, monotonous shit
god, Cinemaphile is full of legit morons
>loveable characters
only the side characters that get killed off every season are at all noitcable, the main cast are incredibly bland outside of Steve and Dustin. Mike and Will are practically non-characters now.
>cool aesthetic
90% of it is "REMEMBER THE 80S?!?!"" only moronic zoomers find that shit good
>emotional moments
LOL
>great villains
all of the villains have been faceless monsters outside of the last season and Henry was one of those "im evil for the sake of being evil because humanity is bad, okay?? IT IS JUST BAD!" villain and it was some of the most tride, moronic shit i've seen
you are a child and have bad taste
>you are a child and have bad taste
And you are a boring autist. At least I find enjoyment in it
What is an adult good taste infinite alternate universe show?
>What is an adult good taste infinite alternate universe show?
This is my original question, as yet unanswered
Stranger Things is not an infinite alternate universe show, so far it has shown exactly 1 alternate universe.
However Dark and Counterpart are both much better shows about alternate universes. Twin Peaks is an amazing show that does become about alternate universes to an extent.
>The Man In The High Castle
Good aesthetics. Bad story. Inaccurate depiction
I AM YULAW
Interesting, I'll give it a look
Seconding this one. Fantastic show.
Spider-Man No Way Home
Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths
Parallel
It is a 2018 movie about these young people finding a mirror to a parallel universe.
It is cheesy but a fun movie to watch.
Sliders
It is a tv show where a group of people are constantly traveling to parallel universes and trying to make to own home universe.
From Beyond (1986)
Super Mario Bros The Movie
The only one I know is manga, but I don't think you would want it.
>got taken into mental health ward with psychosis
>thought the hospital was hell
>I was God and I was going to prove I could never die by pulling my dick off as punishment for being evil
>every moment I hadn't pulled off my dick yet was creating another universe where I was in eternal pain
On topic I quite enjoyed Loki
