My mom insisted I go out to watch Top Gun: Maverick. I thought it was a nice film, very cinema. What did you guys think of it?

Your mother insisted you see a movie? How strange.

She is a big Tom Cruise fan in general. I had no choice.

Your relationship with your mother is odd to say the least

Indeed. It is a truly peculiar phenomenon that an individual would attempt to persuade another to watch a piece of entertainment.

More so by the wording of 'insisted', as if his mother were commanding he see the movie instead of simply recommending it.

Women are narcissists, they don't recommend, they demand you like the things they like or else.

I think that he never actually says "It's Morbin time" on camera. He never really says it. It's all some stupid redit troll. There is never been said in a scene.

It was kino, I barely trashed the theater after it and the entire audience clapped during the credits.

It's the only movie that made me scream (at scenes where its very noisy of course, so it drowns my ear-gritting screech)

First movie that deserved to make a billion dollars at the box office since The Dark Knight (2008).

It stands head and shoulders above the billion dollar movies made after it. If you want to be a real hardass you could say Lord of the Rings, but that would be unfair to Maverick, because come on it's Lord of the Rings.

It's a very good movie that's very thrilling to watch at the theater.

Nope, she just wanted to see the movie with me.

Yeah, the movie was pretty fun and the popcorn was good. It's been like 5 years since I last went to the theatres with my mom so she thought Top Gun: Maverick would be the perfect film to watch together in the theatres. She's right.

You two should've gone to The Northman instead

There was a couple of Northman showings in my country but none in my city. It would have required me to go to another threatre in another city just to see it. Wasn't really interested in it anyway.

Fighter pilots do not die often.
You want to die, be infantry or a tank crewman.

I liked it. It was good plane kino. That was what I wanted.
However there were parts I didn't like like the ending scene. They played the gayest song ever and it was dumb. The football scene was shit. It was shot at sunset so you couldn't fully appreciate the actors' hot sexy bodies and I suspect it was because Tom Cruise looks a little flabby because of his age. And they showed the only chick for like 2 seconds and mostly focused on the dudes. Which would be fine if I could properly see anyone because of the shitty sunset casting shadows over everyone. If you're gonna have a scene like that, I want to see everyone clear as day and how hot and sexy their muscular bodies are.
And the female pilot wasn't buff enough. All the dudes were jacked but she wasn't. I want buff women in my movies for fricks sake. Give me buff women. No excuse for that when the dudes were so ripped it made me gay.
Rest of the film was good though.
