Back in 2021 when I first arrived here(Yeah Ancientgay, I know) I used to take screenshots from here and post on r/Cinemaphile.
The dopamine rush those upvotes give you is great, everyone should post on Reddit once in their too feel how wonderful it is.

But after I got 15000 karma(Karmalet) I got tired of it. But I will never forget those days.

It happens on youtube too. Search Cinemaphile and there will be a bunch of slop videos with text-to-speech reading greentexts

It's weird seeing a thread you glanced at for half a second suddenly on twitter with 100k likes

You could issue takedown requests or sue for revenue. You own all your text as a creative work. The website may claim to own it, but it won’t hold up, as it’s plagiarism.

This is what i hate zoomers for. Have you even watched The Dark Knight? (Nolan just appropriated the original anonymous spirit to Joker) We changed the world for shit and giggles, wanting money for memes and good times is cringe boomer behaviour. To us money never mattered, it was old technology that wasn’t needed in the zany wacky internet.

OP's post is like a throwaway comment you see here all the time but it's elevated to some weird level
no offense OP, I've had the same thing happen to me and it's just weird man

        >It's weird seeing a thread you glanced at for half a second suddenly on twitter with 100k likes
It’s even weirder as an oldgay seeing a thread you participated in or a post you made get re-posted as a meme image.

Cinemaphile, while no longer the originator of all memes, still drives a lot of internet slang development.
basically the only sitewide meme that hasn't made the jump to normie meme culture is /dbz/ spicposting (i.e. ENTER and I KNEEL and other related jokes)

I KNEEL is used on semi-normie sites.
