it defies single sentence summery honestly, so here's some observations.
I see the hottest women and the wildest methheads in the world literally everyday. Everyone is 2 steps away from a full violent mental breakdown. It's supposedly a city but you need a car to get anywhere. 75% of the year it's over 90°F, but there's never been a single day recorded in history of over 100°F. I've seen more female steroid users in this city then male users in other cities. Death metal started here but there's only like 3 metal bars in the whole city now. Almost 100% of the city is now gentrified, it experienced the largest rent increase in America this year.
All that said, I've had some good sex so I guess worth it?

so what sort of people live there? like what music and clothes does the archetypal tamper into

            Anonymous

There's not an archetype because a majority of the population is transplants. Tons of standard boring middle upper class white couples. There's a couple of huge colleges so lots of partying, drugs and drinking among the youth, and a culture of not graduating until mid twenties. There's also a huge hipster neighborhood full of 32 year old craft brewer and beekeeper couples who gentrified the black neighborhoods 2 years before the housing market caught on fire.
Honestly, the most common thing among all these peope is coke.

I can think of 6 different gyms where you could get Test E vials offered to you the day you walked in, and about 30 bars where you will be offered coke when you walk in to the bathroom

                Anonymous

I'm thinking of moving there myself once I save up some money and get my license. I want to continue my college education at U of South Florida.

Although what you say about rent, it's nothing compared to Miami.

                Anonymous

USF is pretty cool. It's not crazy expensive and I've heard it's actually a pretty decent school. I like the campus.

In terms of rent, it was pretty bad for the last year, you couldn't get a one bedroom for under $1400, but I've heard it's just now starting to cool off. I bought my place 5 years ago and was seriously considering selling and taking the cash, but I can't be assed to move, I really like my house and neighborhood.

                Anonymous

Yeah, I think the pandemic has to do with the rent skyrocketing since then since people were either quitting in droves and moving into places like FL and TX from NY or the east coast, while on the other hand, the great recession also took ahold of the # of jobs available. Yet according to research, that's no longer a problem since now the job market is growing more than ever in Tampa. There's also no income tax, which is another reason why people move there and demand goes up for rent and pricing.

Regardless of if it cools down or not, I've been discussing with my godmother about this since I've worked the last 2 years to help pay for my parents to get my sister through to school since they separated after they lost their jobs, but now that's been voided out since my sister has her degree. Only one problem: She's in NYC and can't find a job for shit. Especially when the unemployment and homeless rates and the job market there are so bad.

Either way, I'm hoping to move there as I'm from NY myself, although I pretty much have more in common with people from New England since my Dad's side was born in MA. But naturally though, I've been seeing myself turning red (metaphorically speaking) due to how I keep seeing my state turned into Mexico with the amount of Black folk and hispanics moving here into droves, thus turning the place into the "ghettofication" process.

I have visited FL a couple times and I seem to have better luck with women there. At 16, I even had a couple older women ask me to take their picture at the Fontainebleau. Speaking of, are there any interesting older girls, OLs, or cougars that I should know of that live in Tampa/St. Pete's?

I happen to enjoy a milf myself, and moving to Tampa was great for that. Lots of divorced women looking for 5 years of casual sex before they remarry.
as is always my advice to everyone on this website, start physical training 2-3 times a week if you don't already. It's especially important if you move here because all the guys lift and you'll stand out in a bad way if you don't.

                USF is a wigger school.

Also the answer to OP's question is "The Punisher' and that one Ben Affleck movie about prohibition gangsters that bombed so bad i forget the name

Tampa was a wigger city in general, but zoomer culture has progressed a tiny bit from backward snapbacks grills. also, no one wears basketball shoes in the clubs anymore and chucks are back in

The metal scene isn't what it used to be, but it's there. There's a famous goth bar called The Castle that is a very special place, met my last two girlfriends there

I don't follow wrestling anymore, but Bautista pops into my Muay Thai gym often, Hulk Hogan at the beach bars, Rick Flair just walks around Downtown Tampa all the time. My friend was a practice squadder for the Bucs and when I would train with him at the private gyms I would see girls who had to be, but bothering others at those gyms will get you kicked out.

I enjoy going to sarasota and nearby cities. Siesta key has a nice beach but was better before they made a zoomer MTV show about it. Fort Myers has a college if you want sloots. Venice has a cool dock you can catch sharks on. I fly into Tampa but don't usually spend much time there. The transplants are more Midwestern rather than annoying east coast israelites

And it’s not 2rd generation assimilated Mexicans like you see in Texas. Miami is populated by straight up FOBs who will walk around with a rooster in a cage and look at you like you’ve lost your mind if you attempt to communicate in English.

It’s one of the few cities in the mainland US where you can experience genuine culture shock, except unlike NYC/LA/SF, there’s no “normal” part of the city, it’s all just 3rd world immigrants.
