I think it’s supposed to imply a series that ended before it became utter trash.
To answer the question, Tintin ended with the author’s death so that generally serves it’s favour.
>Not quite. OP’s image describes series that are great, but if you continue with it enough it turns to shit.
No? Look at it again, no one of them reached the shit
A comic/cartoon that started off great, but eventually turned to shit, but you left before the point it got bad. Example: Stopping right at Kingdom Hearts 2(the last good game in the franchise)
A piece of media that starts out good, but turns to shit at some point. The top guy is a new fan, blissfully unaware of the incoming quality shift. The bottom guy is a veteran who knows when to pull out.
It's pretty straightforward actually.
When sparkle butt became fly butt, end times began. Horse friends:Human friends was famously exactly the sort of movie firefly didnt want, and is very devicive. The rest of it is just the slow metamorphasis from a show that was sincere and fun into a show for adults: Insincere, not proud of its messages, and just plain old unfun after being run into the dirt. The finale is some horrific amalgam of awfulness that sentences a child to an eternal state of perpetual misery while redeeming some 1000 year old butthole just cause. Weird Al still hasnt been sent to the slammer on beastiality charges if you were wondering.
Human Friends 1 is bad except for funny jokes about Book Horse not knowing to be Book Human but I thought the second and third ones were OK where Bacon Hair becomes the actual main character. The fourth one sucked and I didn't watch the stuff after that.
I remember reading the first volume or something, forgetting about it, then coming here and finding threads complaining about how it turned into wall of text picture story and people putting the author in the same category as the guy behind sinfest. The hell is up with that?

A casualty of the author getting in contact with Homestuck people. No paranormal media survives that
After beating the empire Fables pretty much spent the rest of its existence withering on the vine. It never becomes pure shit but it's so tedious and meandering it makes you wonder why it went on for so long.
I'd say the ending was quite a mess. My overall opinion is that while there are good parts after the war, the comic itself stopped being good shortly before the war. With that said, after the war is a good stopping point, and you get to see Blue Boy laying down the truth on Rose
Last season of samurai Jack. First few episodes were god tier but I kept forgetting to watch each week's episode and only got glimpses of what was going on here on Cinemaphile and eventually dropped it.
True. What made it so weird was that they had a set number of episodes for a final season, i would have figured theyd have planned it start to finish but i guess its not the case. Why did it have filler episodes? Its the big ending, you can just do less episodes. Its not like youre trying to stay on air.
Homestuck, Housepets, the Roman Empire, Sleepless Domain, Steven Universe, TAWOG, MM&O, honestly any comic that lasts for 3 or more books will probably turn to shit.
Not the right board, but i did this for Game of thrones. Bailed out the first time i thought writing hit me wrong and turned out to be vindicated way later when it shat itself.
I'm thinking about watching Game of Thrones because my mom recommended it, but I've heard it gets worse as it goes on. My mom told me she didn't notice the writing getting worse as it went on, so is it just the internet over-reacting? If it does start going downhill, how late into the show does it happen?
No matter what, the last season is absolutely awful. So only watch it if you don't mind endings to a long season which are completely rushed and unsatisfying.
One of the characters directly sees with her own eyes a very serious threat to her and later falls prey to it as if taken by surprise. When asked about it, one of the show-runners said the character "kind of forgot" about the threat.
Camp Cretaceous' first three seasons weren't masterpieces but they were solid and enjoyable
The fourth season ziplined the mosasaur and from then on seemed to consciously choose the worst developments possible >Introduces romance >Secret island that the shady corporation that had dealings in the background runs like a fricking supervillain organization >Fricking robots >Reveal that the corporation has gone full clown mode and set up this entire operation to sell tickets to a dinosaur fight club >Reveal that the shady corporation turned supervillain organization is run by one of the main cast's father >Commence literal seriously I'm not fricking joking remote control dinosaur battles
I just don't fricking understand how we wound up at this point. It's so absurd the only reasonable explanation is that everything in the fourth and fifth seasons are just a fever dream one of the kids has on the boat ride back to the mainland
>Clone Wars
Wut? Both grievous episodes were easily the best and most memorable of the series. Only other episodes that even come close were the operator as frick clone focused episodes
>Show used to have terrible writing, but with great fight scenes to balance it out >Guy who does the fight scenes dies >Now it just has terrible writing
That's the short version. There's a lot more to the show's sudden plunge from just ok to completely awful, but everything can be traced back to the above.
i don't know where to stop to have just the good parts. kinda just have to read it twice to really appreciate what you lost by the end. obiously the worst of the worst are the epilogues, haven't read those to this day. but i even love hiveswap 1 and friendsim.
>Wonder why the frick Unsounded isn't more popular here
There are threads. I think the creator even posts here sometimes. It's doesn't give enough to complain about so it doesn't really have much staying power
the simpsons
It was always shit.
What is this even supposed to imply
>doesn't get it
low IQ
I think it’s supposed to imply a series that ended before it became utter trash.

Tron Uprising
Mike Tyson Mysteries
Not quite. OP’s image describes series that are great, but if you continue with it enough it turns to shit.
I’d say most long-lasting cartoons fit here (Spongebob), and pretty much every comic series (hopefully not an uncontroversial take, but Cerberus)
>and pretty much every comic series
Wtf are you talking about? I wish every comic series were great.
>Not quite. OP’s image describes series that are great, but if you continue with it enough it turns to shit.
No? Look at it again, no one of them reached the shit
The life of men before marriage.
Something that is really good but at some point became shit so is better to leave it while is still good.
No? The image implies it didn't go to shit yet
Not if the miner is the viewer
Both of them see nothing but diamonds
A comic/cartoon that started off great, but eventually turned to shit, but you left before the point it got bad. Example: Stopping right at Kingdom Hearts 2(the last good game in the franchise)
>"example"
Kys and go back.
>Irrelevant Cinemaphile shit for no reason
>Not even correct
bottom guy is a scat fetishist that gave up tooo soon because he was tired of getting diamonds
Shit
It is an image that was posted around Cinemaphile. It supposed to imply a game that is hard to finish but its ending ruins the entire experience.

Hmmm I guess I'd name it tunnel_diamonds_liquid_shit_digging.png

I'm gonna say it. I liked the communitst/pol pot horse.
Thread’s a missed cheese
Adventure Time
An asset that's going to devalue itself the more you have of it vs a plant fertilizer reservoir
Paranatural.
I remember reading the first volume or something, forgetting about it, then coming here and finding threads complaining about how it turned into wall of text picture story and people putting the author in the same category as the guy behind sinfest. The hell is up with that?
It was good, then it wasnt. Simple as that
A casualty of the author getting in contact with Homestuck people. No paranormal media survives that
Id recommend stop watching after episode 7 of second season
2nd season got that far? What happens?
Everyone acted OOC.
Maybe not this extreme but... Fables
After beating the empire Fables pretty much spent the rest of its existence withering on the vine. It never becomes pure shit but it's so tedious and meandering it makes you wonder why it went on for so long.

RIP IDW TF.
Adventure time. I dropped it after season 2 and avoided shit.
Last season of samurai Jack. First few episodes were god tier but I kept forgetting to watch each week's episode and only got glimpses of what was going on here on Cinemaphile and eventually dropped it.
It was fine, Cinemaphile was overracting

Sinfest.
Granted, nowadays there's some diamonds made of shit in it, but still, it's a far cry from the glory days.
Homestuck, Housepets, the Roman Empire, Sleepless Domain, Steven Universe, TAWOG, MM&O, honestly any comic that lasts for 3 or more books will probably turn to shit.
Amphibia
Cerebus syndrome and genre shifts kill anything they touch
This, the fantasy aspect of the show got ruined when the writers decided that they now wanted to make anime fights.
What's Cerebus syndrome?
tone shift from comedy series to dramatic series
Star. VS The forces of Evil
I'm still mad about that last season.
I'm fricking furious about that ending
>tfw I got into Star Vs just as Battle For Mewni aired
>it was all down hill from there
Young Justice
Star vs the forces of omnicide
Boku no hero
Nolan Batman trilogy
Are you fan of Batman?

Once it runs out of stuff to adapt and started writing its own thing.
How far in does it run out of stuff to adapt?
One of the characters directly sees with her own eyes a very serious threat to her and later falls prey to it as if taken by surprise. When asked about it, one of the show-runners said the character "kind of forgot" about the threat.
Wakfu
Bottom is Samurai Jack
Top is Samurai Jack's final season
South Park, i wanted to frick the characters more back then, now im a little less turned on by stan. oh and its not funny anymore yes
The bottom miner should've reached the shit before returning distraught.
Rick and Morty
This is 100% Cerebus. You just have to put a small pocket of diamonds at the end of the shit.
At least the top guy will only get a moderate amount of shit instead of being flooded with the entire thing
Emmy the Robot

Unfortunately. Frickin Wano.
Bob's Burgers, Clone Wars, Samurai Jack, any Genndy shit
>Clone Wars
Wut? Both grievous episodes were easily the best and most memorable of the series. Only other episodes that even come close were the operator as frick clone focused episodes
TAWOG
I thought this thread was gonna be about series that ended on a high note 🙁
Cinemaphile is full of morons incapable of reading a simple image
Then my choice would be Twelve Forever.
Adventure Time
You guys make me want to watch star vs.
Post Goscinny books.
King of the Hill ended right when the cracks were beginning to show. If it had gone any longer, we may have seen it decline like The Simpsons.
Freakazoid?
Calling the early parts diamonds is an exaggeration, but it did turn from a flawed but fun show into liquid shit very suddenly.
What happened?
Ugh. Don't remind me
>Show used to have terrible writing, but with great fight scenes to balance it out
>Guy who does the fight scenes dies
>Now it just has terrible writing
That's the short version. There's a lot more to the show's sudden plunge from just ok to completely awful, but everything can be traced back to the above.

Surprised no one's mentioned Gunnerkrigg yet
I mean, honestly gunnerkrigg has been shit for what feels longer than it has been good. And there's no ending in sight.
Wonder why the frick Unsounded isn't more popular here

It was fun while it lasted
You know it's the execs who just want to milk the popular show dry?
