I get that rock probably didn't wanted to have body paint on but I'm pretty sure the technology is at a point in which you can basically digitally add shit into an actor and all he needed to do was wear some extra mocap points which at this point they are a standard on this type of productions.
So maybe it was a personal ego thing and maybe the rock demanded WB to not make him look pale or give him pointy ears and makes me think, if the Rock can tell WB to frick off in that way, what stops any other actor doing it?
