watched mindhunter, loved it.
dropped dark and the oa after 3 eps.
watched a few eps of bojack didn't really like it all that much. maybe i'll pick it up again someday.
you is nice. derry girls was awful except the dad and grandpa convos they were funny.
watching ozark s2 rn it's alright. not the same level as sopranos, breaking bad and such obviously.
need recs bros. might catch up on a bunch of true crime docs later.
i'd personally recommend the highwaymen. It's a good movie about two texas rangers chasing after bonnie and clyde. Also the last kingdom is a good one if your into vikings related stuff.
Midnight Mass miniseries resolves its arcs wonderfully
pretty based actually
also try
the first one is always the best
You are 100% trolling if you are recommending that piece of shit unironically. The final episode was unforgivable
The two Extraction movies are good entertainment.
no
based
Watches kids shows, has an opinion.
haven't watched dark crystal yet anon but i'm pretty sure it's better than just another hollywood action flick
The first one is lame and the second is unwatchable.
Dark Crystal age of Resistance is the only good thing they every did and these filthy israelites canceled it
Death to netflix
It was only because one exec loved them that it got made at all
It bled money anon snd barely anyone watched it. Hell Netflix made them use puppets they were gonna have it mostly CG
I will never forget these chosenites kvetching in their articles about dark crystal "promoting anti-semitic canards" due to the way the skeksis were depicted
Way to out yourself lmao
why, Cuties of course
I honestly really love Maniac. The one with Jonah Hill and Emma Stone. It's really unique and goofy but surprisingly deep and well acted. And I just love the Japanese doctor lady character.
Me too. Doctor lady was hot. She was in devs looking less hot but ymmv
I think it was the last Netflix show I really enjoyed.
No surprise it was helmed by Fukunaga from True Detective S1 before he got canned by metoo
The writer has done some other really good stuff as well like Leftovers and Station Eleven
Mindhunter always made me chuckle, because even before knowing the main actor was gay, seeing him try to act heterosexual was kek worthy
Anon, most actors in Hollywood are gay and play straight men in shows/movies.
Season 2 was fricking pozzed dogshit though
I didn't imply otherwise, all I said is that Groff radiates gay energy
None of them are kino. Ted K and Narcos were pretty good
narcos is amazing idk about ted k i'd rather read his manifesto over that
Lillyhammer was great, but I don’t think its on there anymore
>watching ozark s2 rn it's alright. not the same level as sopranos, breaking bad and such obviously.
the final season is genuinely dogshit.you have been warned.
Cunk on Earth
on my list
>mindhunter
>pretty good reviews on IMBD and RT
thanks OP, starting to watch it now
also, directed by david fincher
Beef
Bojack is not worth it. They dropped the idea that Bojack could be redeemed after S4 when the series creator heard Weinstein liked one of the episodes. With redemption off the table, it's just a bunch of drama and misery that serves no purpose because Bojack is not allowed to change.
sucks
This, the comedy of the series only works because there's the persistent promise throughout the misery that these characters are going to learn some kind of less and redeem themselves or at least learn to live with their problems. Having them all spiral into misery and having their vices and traumas consume them isn't compelling it's just depressing. I really liked the first couple seasons of Bojack, I don't think there's a show that pisses me off as much as that one with how much the ending poisons the well of the entire show, Game of Thrones doesn't even come close.
s01 of altered carbon is gr8
Extraction 1 and 2
The Irishman
Velvet Buzzsaw
Ballad of Buster Scruggs
-series:
Squid Game
Mindhunter
Love Death and Robots
True crime: Sons of Sam, Nightstalker, Cecil Hotel
dark is the best, and most clever show, of all time
Is this even possible? Even if there's a cool show with nothing actively horrible in it, you know it's being creatively held back by progressive edicts. It has to be careful and safe, it can't be genuinely challenging or politically incorrect in any way. A show doesn't HAVE to be challenging or politically incorrect to be good but the very existence of those rules neuters them by default.
Mindhunter S02 is deceptively based and filters hard those who think it panders to black people
can't attest to it myself, but I guess I can get behind a show that's secretly based and subtly subverts the subversives
it was so boring. whose dumbass idea is it to focus on the forensics guys behind a crime case.
Who the frick cares about that shit. i want to focus on the criminal, or the cops investigating, not those nerds
No idea what you're talking about, Mindhunter only briefly shows forensic investigation as needed
sorry i had forgotten, i mean the psychologists
whatever it was, it was the most boring fricking aspect of a crime i could imagine.
Season 2 was so underwhelming. Not bad, just plain not enough. Season 1 Kemper shits on anything they showed on s2, and the entire arc in atlanta drags on and on. The Wendy character is grossly misused in s2 also and Holden's arc doesn't really pay off
it devolved into shitty soap opera trying to be a Mad Men rip off period piece.
I enjoyed the first few episodes of Sandman.
The Umbrella Academy is also very good if you can ignore the Ellen Page haters and give it a shot.
Calibre : two bro go hunting in a small town in scottland (i think?). During a hunt some tragic accident happen and they have to hide what they did to the rest of the town where everyone knows everyone.
1922: Set in 1922, a rural farmer with the help of his son decide to actually do something about his b***h wife
House of Cards S1
A Series of Unfortunate Events
Green Eggs and Ham
I liked Marco Polo
Love, Death and Robots
Since it is an anthology you could skip an episode if you don't like it
you all know it
The critically acclaimed Netflix original series Alias Grace, starring Sarah Gadon.
>The critically acclaimed Netflix original series Alias Grace, starring Sarah Gadon.
This. It's got a 99% on RT.
Season 1 of The OA, Ozark and up to S2 of House of Cards are good. Tiger King was entertaining but I doubt it makes any attempts at impartiality so it isn't really serviceable as a documentary. Squid Game was entertaining too but with a lot of issues
There's basically zero complete, good shows so nothing worth watching. Since Squid Game I watched one episode of Wednesday. They're shit. Netflix is without a doubt and by far the worst streamer.
House of Cards s1, s2
Dark s1, s2
Narcos s1, s2
Stranger Things s1
A handful of episodes of Love, Death & Robots
Hill House, Bly Manor, Midnight Mass (quality may vary)
Is that one dude who killed his family a netflix original?
The only kino Netflix Original
People always shill this to me and I've tried watching it a bunch of times but I get like 5 episodes in and give up.
Travelers, similar to 12 Monkeys movie with a twist that doesnt drag on for too many seasons ruining the plot.
The Platform is an alright flick. Good for edgy teenagers.
