That Watchmen show was dogshit in a million different ways, but a lot of people defended it solely because it had politics they agree with. A lot of people said shit like “wow, you never understood Watchmen. It was ALWAYS this left-wing. Alan Moore would actually approve of this” and then he shat all over it. Moore was crueler to this show than he was to the Watchmen movie years earlier. It was very satisfying
