This is a very rare and fast-growing type of testicular disease that develops after exposure to teenagers of any gender. Pure Ligma is likely to spread rapidly to other parts of the body, including the lungs, bones, and brain. While generally non-fatal, this type of disease increases blood pressure levels and leads to headaches and fatigue in adults. Curiously, it can cause symptoms of euphoria in younger patients.

Green Goblin is honestly pretty unique in that he actually achieved his goal. The first time Spider-man fights him he is already successful, his quest is finished, his master plan carried over, he got away with it scot free, revenge had been had.

      Anonymous

his end goal was to kill Spider-Man, and Goblin was killed trying to. What the frick are you on? He failed his goal, that was a mini side-quest at the start just like all cape villains manage to do.

That's complete opposite, the frick do you mean? At no point does Spider-man factor in in creation of Goblin. Spider-man is the side-quest in Goblin's life.

Norman Osborne basically promise the military captain America powers with an iron man suit.

When he showed them the Goblin suit they rightfully said it was stupid and back out. The CEO's threw Norman under the bus. Norman went Goblin and killed them with a pumpkin bomb.

I don't think Spider-Man really matter Goblin was basically a dog chasing a car, you could replace Spider-Man with any hero

if you never watched the boomer movies all you need to know is that he's another spider-man's villain who got sent to another universe.

sony being sony wouldn't explain this and just fall back on nostalgia to explain why the goblin does what he does. thank god to the MCU for actually giving him some depth beyond "look it's Willem Dafoe from that Spider-Man movie years ago"

Essentially frick over spiderman. Regardless of which universe. Kino

      Anonymous

Literally his motive in the original movie was super vague beyond the idea that his powers could allow him to take over the world. He wanted Spider-Man to “join him” on a crusade that had no defined goal. If anything, NWH actually expanded on the character trait that he was an exceptionalist, he essentially just pushes the anti-Uncle Ben rhetoric, that worth great power comes absolute authority. It’s honestly pretty impressive how in character the whole villain cast is, despite some having more screen time than others.

        Anonymous

NWH made Norman and Otto seem completely innocent when not at the mercy of their superpowers though, which wasn't the case originally.

          Anonymous

I dunno, Otto seemed pretty not-evil in Spider-Man 2. He knocks Spider-Man away from deactivating his original machine, but that was more of a kneejerk reaction than an evil act. Once he wakes up with the arms attached to him, he even immediately considers killing himself, but the arms talk him out of it and essentially take control of him (which he said is what would happen without the inhibitor chip). And then as soon as he overpowers the arms' minds at the end, he dies saving the city. Seems fairly innocent to me.

It’s not mental illness, it’s brain damage from the fart he snorted in Raimi 1

      Anonymous

Well kinda? He wasn't mentally ill initially, just prideful. After getting his military project revoked based on his assistant's advice of going back to the basic formula planning of the super soldier serum he decides to test it on himself. That doesn't go well, and the Goblin is created as a separate personality inside Osborn. They go a lot heavier with the sympathetic DID idea in NWH but that's all from the formula in the first place.

  22. 2 years ago
    Anonymous

He did that mad scientist thing were he tested on himself to prove it worked before he got shut down/loses funding trope. Then showed why this is indeed a bad idea as it drove him insane. Though I think it's more played off as it made his bad traits a hundred times worse. But results were the same.

Goblin got superpowers, immediately shit all over all the people who wronged him, and decided this kicked ass and having superpowers means he can do whatever he wants.

He looks at Spider-Man and sees someone with similar abilities who's playing hero and thinks he ought to be a selfish bastard too, and because he refuses, this pisses the goblin off.

I just woke up from a dream in which I watched MCU Spider-Man 4.

For some reason I didn't catch on to it being a dream despite the fact that the movie opened with a scene of Peter getting ready to eat out MJ, with a clear shot of her pussy.

Beyond that it was a bit more reasonable, with the fragment of the Raimi Symbiote ending up in MJ's possession, turning her into something like the MCU version of Spider-Gwen.
