He was sort of famous, he was in a few fairly notable action movies through the '80s and early '90s. Off the top of my head, he played the Night Terror in Cobra, the main villain's bodyguard in Lionheart and Shao Kahn in that second Mortal Kombat movie. Also I think he popped up in a few episodes of the X-Files.
