Some of the earlier MCU costume designs were fantastic. They hit a good balance of incorporating elements of the comic designs and making everyone distinctive and bold, without things looking too cartoonish for a blockbuster movie.
MCU Thor has his circle plates, red cape, and sleeves. MCU Cap has his red and white stripe girdle. Early MCU Iron Man is painted up like a sports car.
The later character designs like OP are absolute garbage in comparison. And it's really a shame because it would be easy to swap out some of the black mesh for white and a little change like that would be enough to "fix" it.
This is a good example of overdoing the a costume, the F4 costumes is not what make them distinct or unique, its their powers, the costumes are literally just uniforms, a jumpsuit with a 4 on it, but here it looks like some bizarre futuristic wetsuit with that dumb black and blue pattern, it doesnt help Krasinski looks awkward in it. The first movie adaptation sucked but at least they got the suits right, just keep it simple
Gee I wonder why The Thing's head/face looks 100% completely different from over a half a century of the comic book. His body looks 100% accurate so I dont think I believe there was a technological limitation. Gee I wonder what happened.
Neither. The world's smartest man Reed Richards will be black. So will the new Professor X if Marvel can ever figure out a way to market the X-Men without using that icky Men word.
>YOU CAN'T JUST KILL CHARACTERS FROM DIFFERENT UNIVERSES EASILY >THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN ANY SINGLE POPULAR RUN OR EVENT IN MARVEL COMICS HISTORY
I can't tell if people are being serious or not
You'll say in the comics the characters are extremely smart and overpowered but then when it's brought up that those exact same character have done "moronic" shit and lost despite being strong that it doesn't count because it was a bad storyline.
But, it's most storylines where they act this way, I can't tell if you actually read comics or only read big events like civil war, house of m, ultron etc. and just pretend you know anything about the comics
It's hard to have right without it looking like some sort of cheap Halloween costume.
wrong
thats exactly looks like halloween costume
This is the very definition of a Halloween costume, the outfit is played for laughs in that scene
When was the last time we had a movie star with that kind of handsome face with a strong jawline?
>When was the last time we had an actor who should be typed as "gettable everyman" promoted as if they were a sex symbol?
FIFY
How is the drawing a gettable everyman? Or do you think somehow I was talking about the dude on the left as handsome with a strong jawline??

one of the most generic capeshit suits in a while. you'd think the smartest man ever would have a bit more protection
Gee I wonder where the fork is on Lockjaw's head. Oh well time for sleepy
I bought this suit from a hobo...
FF quite often change up their costumes, a bit. I don't think right is even the original.
As I recall they only changed it once in the first 30 years at least which was to the one shown. This is all about licensing as usual.
Well I know Johnny went Orange in the 70s. And Sue had a 4-shaped boob window in the 90s.
Why didn't Kate Mara wear this in F4nt4stic 4our?
>written and drawn by a man
Holy based.
Was this before or after she had her second kid?
That was after she miscarriaged, but before she successfully had her through Franklin frickery.
Marvel costume designer needs to be fired. Everyone looks the same just with different colors.

>UNFATHOMABLY BASED!
Not even in the top 10 most sexually weird John Byrne moments
The man really loved his dicky.
And his women in bondage
And under mind control.
He drew every issue of Next Men with his left hand.
Post the list.
Unironically better than what Ultimate does.
How does this pudgy faced tofu boy keep getting action roles?

John's F4 suit is 1000x better just by virtue of having the logo in the middle
motor-cross time! lets go ride dirt-bikes!
So if they were going for Nostalgia bait with Stewart why not bring back Ian Gruffoud?
Because Krasinski is going to keep playing the character. A Marvel Fantastic Four movie is coming.
>Marvel Fantastic Four movie is coming
Anyone wanna bet on black Johnny Storm or black Ben Grimm?
Nah, they'll all be white. They'll make Doom a black guy.
>They'll make Doom a black guy.
Since he's gypsy I doubt it.
I don’t think gypsies get representation ever
