Nick's live-action likely won't be going completely away, but they'll be relying more on older shows and their actors that have much less controversy attached to them, like how they got the girl from Alex Mack back for the short-lived Erin & Allen.

For over a decade now i have wanted to make my own cartoon and Nickelodeon was my inspiration so for all that time i wanted to make cartoons for Nick as i felt like i could help them.
But now, after years of them failing to turn out big new IPs, nostalgia baiting so hard and even disrespecting their characters and shows with rushed merchandise like those GameMill games, it just really hurts to see what my inspiration has become.
I held onto hope that one day i can work for Nickelodeon and make it big there but i was huffing copium. As of recent times i have learned that it is best to go forward without any big corporation.
Ironic how i got to this point when it seems like my chances with Nickelodeon are higher than they were before, but screw it, they broke me down and now i'm glad that they'll most likely shut down due to the recent controversies.
The only thing i have left to say is that it's a damn shame that this, all of this, didn't happen sooner.
Also frick reboots, as said earlier nostalgia baiting is a problem for Nickelodeon (And even Hollywood as a whole nowadays) so frick any revivals.
I mean you kinda dodged a bullet most of the shows nowadays don't even come in studio, instead they do a once in awhile shorts program anyone can submit to online and legally the pitches you submit become theirs. They also buy the rights to student films. There's a whole terms and conditions about it publicly on paramounts website if you wanna look at it. Nick makes it easy to pitch to them but in return the chances of you actually getting a show are so small since there's hundreds of other people doing the same thing

Yeah, you're right, that is bad, although my plan was just making small shows while working my way up so i can make my passion projects later on, although like i said, i was on copium.
Honestly if there's even a small portion of me left that wants to work with and help Nick it'd be like a THQNordic situation where i just start up my own company and buy out anything i can from Nick when they burn down.

They want everything to appeal to them, they want all of the stuff from their childhoods back and reject anything new, and when they do get what they want they get pissed off for one of two reasons, one, it's the same thing as they grew up with but what they grew up with wasn't the good to begin with, or two, the people behind the reboots frick it up yet no matter what they still demand their old stuff to come back and they never learn and they hardly ever give anything new a chance.
The way Hollywood is right now, the fricked up state, is the fault of the big companies, but the nostalgiagays also deserve blame for eating their shit up as long as it has what they recognize from their childhoods.
