How can it be timeless if it’s already outdated to begin with?

Being completely removed from modern tends is what makes it timeless.

Is there really not a single instance in the entire show where someone is casually playing a game boy, a console is seen on someones rooms, or one of their contraptions having a controller attached to it or something like that?

Is the creator even a BOOMER boomer? Also I know you're underaged and boomers make you seethe, but plenty of cartoons from this time had characters playing video games or systems in the background

NTA but Danny Antonucci was born in 1957 and is currently 67, which would make him a legit baby boomer rather "funny word for old person lol".

sometimes tech does show up in the series but it's rarely around because they don't want to use it as a crutch. Characters DOING shit instead of using shit is infinitely more interesting. And of course I think it does help it feel more timeless.

I fail to see how the clothing is outdated and don't recall outdated slang so feel free to elaborate on that, OP.

Every cartoon is influenced by the creators childhood and you can always tell their age
EEnE had records, lava lamps, gaudy vans
Steven Universe has a N64 and his room
Craig of the Creek an episode where Pokemon was a metaphor. 20 years ago, every boomer making a cartoon would never mention Pokemon in a positive light. Craig's dad also had what's obviously a dreamcast
There's a lot instances where the creator was obviously a weeb who grew up on anime. But you're not gonna get someone mentioning Gigantor anymore

And this is why 2010s cartoons are the best. They connect with the audience more.
