>2-3 basic ass questions about his career, 1 hour jerking himself off over strongmen and hunting, half an hour telling boring stories about his literal who friends
what a giant fricking moron. How do people love this guy? No wonder Mike looked for an excuse to leave. I don't care about his politics or whatever, he's a fricking terrible interviewer.

oh and how could I forget, 10 threads of discussion about fricking Idiocracy. As if that one flick was the height of Mike's entire career. What a snoozefest

I watched this piece of shit interview when it came out and I didn't even know the beavis and butthead movie/reboot was coming out until it was released. Im assuming he went on there to promote it and Im pretty sure they never even mentioned it

its been genuinely unwatchable for like 4 years. I dont know how he does all these psychedelics and is still so egotistical, but maybe he's just ignorant to social cues because he's moronic

Everything after the Spotify move sounds like fanfic. Who does he even have on besides his unfunny friends that’s actually worth listening to? It’s to the point where only the big names coming on is what prompts me to even bother listening to to kill time while I’m delivering my route. It use to be the exact opposite with the smaller or unknowns being way more interesting since they’d be authors, obscure STEM figures or non political journalists

His excuse is that his podcasts are long winded conversations instead of interviews, but it doesn’t matter because no one wants to talk to Mike judge we just want to hear about his cool projects

Joe really doesn't watch much tv or movies. So who's the real moron, OP, you or him?

      Anonymous

him of course. if he doesn't watch tv or film why invite the fricking Beavis and Butthead/KotH guy? and if you're gonna invite the guy, why not get slightly familiar with his work?
but he has millions and I don't so I guess it doesn't matter who's the moron

      >he's a fricking terrible interviewer
Millions disagree with you. I don't like Oprah but wouldn't put forward the pretense she's bad at what she does.

      > Millions disagree with you
      yeah millions of brainlets.

maybe his fans watch his 2 hour interviews for the stoner/UFC/gay strongman talk and not for the actual interviewees. It's the only explanation I can find, cause Joe was the center of attention instead of his guest.

I watched the Chappelle one too and I thought it was pretty bad but at least somewhat tolerable, because he let Dave talk. this one's 2x worse

and strangely this was probably the most animated Ive ever seen Judge in an interviewer. He's typically shy and reserved but this time he seemed way more relaxed and willing to talk (unfortunately Rogan was as well).

      > and strangely this was probably the most animated Ive ever seen Judge in an interviewer
probably cause he didn't really have to do a lot of talking and the interview wasn't on a tight time slot. When he did talk, he often stopped himself a lot and did a lot of "but-ah, anyways". Sometimes it's better to make the interviewee a little uncomfortable to get the good stuff.

1.5 hours and the most insightful thing Joe managed to get out of him was that he wants to watch Man vs. Bee.

Yeah, I could tell Judge didn't want to talk too much about himself. As soon as Judge brought up MMA out of nowhere, I was like fuuuuuck.. he's done talking about yourself, because he knows damn well Joe will go on and on about fighting (which he did)

I've recently been re-watching KoTH, and I gotta state the obvious... Judge is one heck of a voice actor.

The show isn't even that uproariously funny, it's just kinda similar to Beavis & Butthead in that it creates this silly little world that you get to sit in on.

All the voice-acting is incredible. RIP Brittany Murphy.
I would've asked Mike Judge about her.

Mile never once went into cringey Liberal garbage. So it as fine. He teetered. But it was better than most celebrity podcasts. The question I wanted him to ask was how will he approach a koth reboot

      >Mile never once went into cringey Liberal garbage
not sure why this would even cross your mind. I've heard that Mike is pretty conservative. Probably not a Trumptard but not a registered Dem either
      > The question I wanted him to ask was how will he approach a koth reboot
this and so many others, like
      >How's it going with the new animation studio? what's it like?
      >I was so bummed out when HBO cancelled 2 of your planned shows. Would you pitch them to other streaming giants or are they dead?
      >What's it like to go back to dumb Beavis and Butthead comedy after all these years? What should we expect
      >Tales from the Tour Bus was such an interesting show. If you were to do a third season, which genre would it tackle?
      >shoot the shit about music, HIS (not Joe)'s favorite music, his band days, keeping the focus on him
      >comedy talk in general, ask for tales from the set in SV, Office Space, Idiocracy
and all this could've been covered in like 30 minutes. He could've used the rest for his usual moronic discussions about nothing

Something about reading these (good) questions just made me fully realize that Joe isnt a fan of Judge at all (and probably a majority of his other guests). Its obvious he's not, but it really just hit me now, and its annoying to think about. Such a waste to have the guy on to talk when Joe doesnt give a shit about his work. He even told Judge that he hadnt seen Idiocracy in its entirety until the day before when he watched it while working out (Joe said the same fricking thing about Metallicas latest album when James Hetfield came on). Might as well have said he had it playing in the background while he was doing chores.

Stupid frick Joe Rogan is notorious for this. Brings people he wants people to think hes a big of fan of but ask nothing of there work. Instead he shoots the shit about inane bullshit that no one gives a shit about. The James Hetfield episode was evident of this where they talked nothing about bees.

Nah James talking about his bees was good.

      >The James Hetfield episode was evident of this where they talked nothing about bees
James said he could talk about beekeeping all day and yet somehow they never talk about it iirc. Fricking ridiculous. That wouldve actually been interesting to hear about rather than the typical 'musician talks about addiction/sobriety' crap.
