Man, Mike WISHES he could direct people to their seats at Cannes

Mike's little spergout about Lucas and TPM on the last half in the bag was embarrassing. He was seething so much that his "review" is finally seen as the trash it is.

Based. The final nail in the coffin was having Maculay (fricking stupid name) Culkin on and being generally uptight.
I miss their older comfy Halloween episodes.

Mike is a 50 year old gen X obese, talentless moron. His greatest and most well known "work" is a video of him using a """funny""" voice shitting on George and the prequels. Even Space Cop is "bad on purpose" because Stoklasa can't handle real criticism so he thinks everything should be dishonest and a joke
What a fricking loser. Lucas should be an inspiration to us, he is one of the greatest creative minds of the century

space cop is fine structurally, i think it demonstrates his strength as a writer but it's just an issue of opportunity in the film industry. maybe if he had been in the right place at the right time, he could've become a juggernaut of Hollywood creating his own original kinos with high budgets and he could absolutely thrive and grow.

I firmly believe that Space Cop was supposed to be an actual comedic movie but they realized early on they had no idea what they were doing so they went with the "bad on purpose" route, a route that they themselves say is the worst thing you can do as a filmmaker and is extremely embarrassing. Now they don't try at all anymore, they won't even sit their ass in the movie theater and do their job.

Absolutely not, they're even having trouble finding motivation doing internet videos now.

          >Lucas should be an inspiration to us, he is one of the greatest creative minds of the century
He is an inspiration to many and will remain so. Star Wars (1977) is so thoroughly worked out in terms of physical believeability with relation to attention to details in set design, costumes; et al boggles the mind still. I can hardly believe he created all that out of nothing.
Not just to think, dream, or pull all those concepts out of the ether, but to make them physical realities, albeit non-functional owing to the nature of the subject matter, remains impressive.

            >I can hardly believe he created all that out of nothing
Yes. In the end what made Star Wars so special is that George was just a nerdy guy who wanted to create a cool fantasy universe using works he liked as an inspiration like Flash Gordon, Akira Kurosawa films, westerns and Dune

And he pulled it off. It seems easy for me to believe that there are many other dimensions where he didn't. I mean, in our own concrete reality he had a heart attack on the set on Star Wars. We're lucky he lived.
It's worthwhile to dream and to escape now and then.

All they said was that it was untrue that the Plinkett reviews are what made people dislike the prequels considering that the Plinkett reviews were released a decade after the movies came out and plenty of people criticized them when they were released. Why do you feel the need to lie on an anonymous chinese cartoon message board.

Normies are trying to pretend they didn't hate on the prequels now that hating on Disney Wars is the big trend, so they put all the blame on RLM.

mike won, george sold lucasfilm citing "internet bullies". who the frick else could he be referring to if not plinkett? those reviews clearly weighed on george's mind.

      >those reviews clearly weighed on george's mind
Yes, the billionaire who created the biggest franchise in history and is still held in high regard by all his peers and fans alike cares that a failed alcoholic in Milwaukee didn't like jar jar binks. Delusional.

then tell me what was george referring to by "internet bullies" and the real reason he sold lucasfilm. george is still human, he's still capable of experiencing the anxieties and emotions like the rest of us.

That other anon will never reply to you because you got them cornered. George Lucas is a wonderful creative genius, but he made a huge mistake in selling to white slavers, his own words.
At least he's had a great life and has made art that will endure the test of time.

He was the most innovative director of his generation, by encouraging his IP to be expanded beyond his film with multiple generations that enjoyed his take on what serialized 1950's space opera >felt like<. Like Shakespeare, his vision has changed culture itself in a way so fundamental that it's almost impossible to imagine a modern world with him or a stand-in.

Even American Graffiti was decades ahead of its time. All modern filmmakers stole the style he invented without even crediting him. Tarantino for example obviously use American Graffiti as a template.
