You guys love to dogpile on Bob Harras, but let's get real. The man was a fricking legend who took risks you neckbeards wouldn't dare. Heroes Reborn? It fricking saved Marvel from bankruptcy. The clone saga? Kept Spider-Man interesting, unlike the stale crap we get now. And the New 52? Yeah, it pissed off the old guard, but DC was a fricking joke before Harras shook things up. Snyder's Batman, Johns' Aquaman, Azzarello's Wonder Woman—none of that would've happened without him. And his work with the X-Men? Age of Apocalypse is still one of the most badass storylines ever. You think 90s X-Men was too edgy? That's what made them awesome. Harras knew comics needed to evolve and take risks. Next time you trash him, remember he had the balls to make the tough calls that kept Marvel and DC alive. Frick off with your whiny bullshit and show some respect.

threads like these always feel really angry and spiteful like some psycho b***h who comes to school after a girl she hated cause her hair was prettier or something died in a car accident and she goes around celebrating like "umm now that shes gone, yikies! we can all like, totes like, say we always totes like totes like totally likes super totally hates her like right? i mean, iiiiiick!"

everyone does it, and always have. it's a basic facet of human communication with no generational differences to facilitate your compulsive whining about the young'uns.

              are you autistic?

If you haven't noticed it's a favorite retort of specifically younger kids, you must be one yourself

of course it's a 'retort' (it's really more like a reaction, retorts are generally more specific) kids use - it's a retort everyone, adults included, use. "what are you talking about?" as a negative reaction to something is older than the fricking English language. nothing about kids using it is special or new, because it's not uniquely the purview of the young and never has been.

to be fair there's a huge difference between casually exclaiming "what are you talking about?" as a figure of speech and not literally meaning you can't understand them, and actually downright insisting someone is being unreasonable and hard to understand

                indecipherable gibberish post

did the latter, and that *is* something i noticed specifically gen-z kids really being into probably because their generation experienced the most psychological warfare and are thus well versed in manipulation

Cinemaphile is mentally feminine even the guys on here all act like the worst kinda teenage chicks, catty, passive aggressive, weirdly angry at any man who accomplishes anything and any women who doesn't look right, don't actually like comics or cartoons and will find it icky if you do and try and bully you about it thinking their normie ass schoolyard bullying tactics will work on actual genuine old web autists... Basically I think it's a result of all the normie tourism

What do you want us to do, kill these motherfrickers ourselves? They are bad people. We hate them because they are bad. The frick you want us to do? Every one of them deserves death, preferably painful, and I am absolutely overjoyed that Harras is gone. I hope he suffered.
