I'm not watching a movie with Chris Evans in it.
Literally this. Gosling as an operator is already pushing it, but Evans is just a complete fricking c**t and a shit actor as well
le white man killer shootem upper schlop
Nothing really. It's a fine action film. My only problem with it was the Indian guy easily taking the drive and then easily giving it back because he overheard Chris Evans saying he was gonna kill innocent people
Netflix.
Boring, forgettable, 4th rate john wick knockoff action scenes.
No full frontal ana de armas nudity.
No goose looking right at the camera and winking and saying "for you".
Everything looks gay and cartoony.
netflix
russos
writers
evans
>$200 million dollar budget
>more action/spy thriller cliches and leftovers than a redbox geezer teaser
The action scenes were good but this screenplay needed an overhaul. It was too safe and formulaic, therefore forgettable.
>quips every interaction between characters
>goose couldn't decide on which persona to use
>roasties onscreen
The capeshit brothers are terrible
It was fun pew pew punch punch explosion movie, nothing wrong with it
It was not fun
Cinemaphile will call me a waifugay, but those 3 minutes with Armas character shooting the mansion with rockets wasn't half-bad. Other than that, too formulaic. I wish action comedies like Kiss-Kiss, Bang-Bang or even Lethal Weapon were alive as a genre nowadays. Goose should do more of those, i think he's horrible locked in a wrong emplois
Nice Guys was fairly similar to what you're talking about
Not enough Butters
F A C T S
Nothing good about it. It’s the most milquetoast movie I’ve seen in years
It was probably created by a computer AI, the most internationally friendly and normie action movie you could possibly imagine
I don't think it worked correctly
My dad loved it and it convinced him to finally watch BR2049
He is on the Goose train now
There is nothing wrong with it. So far it's just been shitposting and one coomer posts before this post. Oh and OP is a homosexual.
>Now that the dust has settled, what went so terribly wrong with this movie?
I don't know, didn't watch and I won't 😉
It was alright albeit very cartoonish.
>Cringy ass dialogue where characters cant stop talking to each other normally but include shitty sarcasm every 2 seconds.
>>*Cringy ass dialogue where characters cant talk to each other normally but include shitty sarcasm every 2 seconds.
terrible action scenes with too much cgi and no stakes
I watched the first 10 minutes and it was cliché af. I said to myself
>if his target is a member of the same squad he works for, I'm turning this dumpster fire off
and bam, there it was. Shame on you, Driveman
Generic as frick. Felt like a bourne ripoff but with much more explosions.
I don't know what everyone's problem with this movie was. I liked it a lot, so either the critics, the redditors, and the Cinemaphile spergs are all wrong or I am. I think it's you idiots that are wrong.
It's just an action movie, pew pew shoot 'em up. It's like John Wick except without a horrendous bland lead actor and instead a charming charismatic actor. And without the corny shit about a dog and a dead wife, instead it's about an abusive childhood and saving Julia Butters.
I hate Chris Evans, so I'm happy to see him die in any movie, so him being in this doesn't matter since he dies. And Ana de Armas is still fine as frick in this movie and seeing her and Gosling together again is kino.
To me it's indistinguishable from movies like James Bond, Mission Impossible, Die Hard. It's just an action heavy movie with lots of flash and a little bit of plot to hold it all together. And because James Bond, Mission Impossible, and Die Hard are all dead franchises now it's good to have a new movie like this come out, even though it's poor reception means it probably won't become a franchise.
